Not your typical coffee counter, Shibam coffee is beautiful, the menu is vast and the staff our friendly. Tucked in the back parking lot with plenty of surface lot parking, so won't have to walk far. There is plenty of space to have a seat and enjoy a cup of coffee or an array pastries. My husband opted for an espresso, full bodied and hot, he also had an americano, which he loved. I ordered the chai, it was hot, but I don't think I would order it again, the spice was there, but I thought it was bland. We will definitely try it again, the menu was full and appealing. read more

Shibam Coffee shop is another great addition of Yemeni-based coffee shops that have been popping up around Cleveland. I visited Shibam Coffee this week, on Monday, 8 June 2026 to work for a few hours. It was cold inside but thankfully I had a light jacket. I ordered the Jubani ($5), a light roast Yemeni coffee, and I also ordered also a slice of baklava ($6). The Jubani coffee was good which is great because I'm actually not a coffee drinker but the flavour wasn't as strong as I noticed when I tried it at a different Yemeni coffee shop. I still liked the Jubani coffee and I added some sugar to it. The baklava was delicious as expected but slightly too cold. Although I wasn't greeted when I entered, the young man working said hi after I said hello. Another employee kindly took my photo next to the Shibam Coffee sign/logo that was inside. Weirdly, there was no trash can inside so to get rid of the napkin that I used, I had to ask an employee to throw it away for me behind the service counter. There is a trash can in the bathroom though. Overall, if you haven't experienced a Yemen, based coffee shop then visit Shibam Coffee. The Adeni tea, a popular item, is on their menu but I haven't had it at Shibam yet (I have had the Adeni tea many times before at other Yemen coffee shops). We stopped if for a quick coffee and pastry. I appreciate the quality of the organic coffee served at Shibam. I ordered a Turkish coffee. The cardamom was very tasty. Having the option to order single servings or a whole pot is nice also. The service was very good. The server brought our drinks to the table. There were not many people there when we arrived around 10a. As we sat there the entire cafe filled up. It is definitely a popular spot for coffee. Overall the coffee is also reasonably priced. The decor in the cafe is very nice. The chairs were comfortable. We also saw the staff spraying air freshener on the artificial flowers. They pay attention to details. read more

If you're a coffee person and are willing to try something different, this is the place for you. It's Yemni coffee. All their coffees have a Yemin twist to their flavors. You can definitely taste the different spices. They also have refreshers and teas. Lots of different pastries as well. You need to try their milk cake. Very unique and delicious. I love this place, it offers much needed variety to the coffee scene in NE Ohio. The atmosphere is very welcoming and thr interior is lovely. But it's the coffee I came for. I opted for a shibam coffee and it did not disappointed. Good quality coffee with lovely spices and cream. Despite loving it, I'm excited to try more from their menu. I also tried the pistachio milk cake which was quite sweet a d would pair well with a more bitter coffee or tea. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and makes for a lovely atmosphere to spend a few hours working/studying in. I got the mufawar, which was an amazing spiced coffee that had just the right amount of sweetness. And it came piping HOT. You don't have to worry about lukewarm coffee at this place. The mufawar was a delicious way to get my caffeine for the day. I also got two desserts - a little cake with pistachio mousse and the honeycomb. The honeycomb consisted of cream cheese filled dough balls covered in honey. I enjoyed the taste, but the texture was a little too crunchy for me. I expected and wanted a little more softness. But I thought the pistachio cake was delightful! The mousse had a pleasant subtle natural flavor, and the cake was perfectly moist. The desserts were a bit on the expensive side ($8 each, I think), but the large coffee, given the quality and size, was reasonably priced at $6. What a pleasant surprise! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decors are modern and easy on the eyes. It was my first time at Shibam and the staff took his time to answer my questions and made wonderful suggestions. I have never had milk cake before, and boy, I was definitely in for a treat! I had the pistachio milk cake. It was moist and decadent. Most importantly, it was not overly sweet. It was just perfect! The pistachio milk cake was so good that I ordered another one, a lotus milk cake. It was equally good, but I preferred the pistachio. I'm glad the staff suggested the pistachio latte, and I ordered it iced. The drink looked as good as it tasted. There was enough white mocha and pistachio without overbearing the coffee. Stopped by Shibam Coffee and tried the white mocha with caramel along with a s'mores cookie. Despite being really busy, they did a great job keeping things moving. The coffee was excellent; smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. The s'mores cookie was a bit disappointing, but the quality of the coffee alone makes it worth stopping in. read more

I visited on Christmas and received a very warm greeting when I came in. The gentleman was very friendly. He even came to the table during my visit to see how everything was. It was very nice to have personal interaction. I had seen on social media the S'mores Latte many times and wanted to try it. I was exited that it was able to be made dairy free so I ordered it with almond milk. I also ordered a dessert while I was there. The Kataifi topping had me sold. Both were very delicious. The latte was not strong like some other places would make it. There was a perfect portion of all the flavors; not too milky or overpowering with coffee. The dessert was very light and creamy. The topping also had honey which added to the deliciousness. I enjoy everything in-house while enjoying the atmosphere. It was very clean and relaxing. This is a great place to catch up with family or friends or enjoy some time alone. Me and my father decided to stop on by to try a milk cake and some coffee!! We both tried the pistachio latte (mine iced, his hot) & shared one of the milk cakes (there are MANY flavors to pick from!) we chose the Ferrero Milk cake and it was delicious... if you don't like a soggy cake I wouldn't try this! Trying this coffee place for the first time today. Holy wow this is awesome! I started with the espresso. Super bold and flavorful. Excellent. I got the Jubani. It is also excellent. A nice rich warming cup full of flavor. I finished with pastry. Baklava. That was excellent as well. Fantastic service. And the decor is so nice. Really enjoyed getting my morning coffee here today. Ok we came here twice in 3 days and they were consistent not only with service, hospitality, but also the coffee and food. I got the pistachio latte twice hot as well as the Nutella cheesecake and both were amazing both times. My kids got baklava, hot chocolate, and Dubai chocolate as well. We also got an iced biscoff latte to go just to try it. They even made my daughter a drink just for her. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. Seriously this is my new favorite coffee spot. Not what I expected - but that's what made it memorable. The coffee was uniquely authentic, came in a quaint kettle made for two to share. After you realize it's not supposed to taste like your typical American cup of joe, it's very decent. Wasn't the biggest fan of the overall ambiance - felt like it was a little "too clean" if that makes sense. Speaking of cleanliness, the bidet was a lovely intentional touch in the men's room. What a marvelous addition to the local coffee/tea scene!! I have already been 3 times and craving a visit soon. Shibam coffee is the Ohio branch of the namesake cafe in Michigan. Located in North Olmstead--this place is worth the drive for east sliders!! Always busy and it's understandable since the coffee/tea selection is lovely. Lots of middle eastern choices and also many standard western style coffee drinks. I love Yemeni coffee but Saudi Coffee is now my new favorites! Their basbusa selection is great-I liked the pistachio. They also have milk cakes, cheese cakes, cookies and Dubai chocolates. This coffee shop is gorgeous. Service is friendly and efficient and it's very clean. We came in during Ramadan, after attempting to visit the pastry shop in the same plaza. They were open. The decor is absolutely stunning. Coffee is fresh and prepared in traditional ways. I had the Saudi coffee and a baklava, which I made my niece try. I loved it. She's still broadening her palate but she also enjoyed it-which is saying a lot for her- as she really just eats American food and boba from Starbucks. I wish this were nearer to me. The first couple times I visited I got the mufawar which was out of this world. Although, I've visited more recently and I feel as though the drinks don't taste the same or as amazing in quality as they used to. Not sure if anything has changed since I first started to visit. Semi-new coffee spot for locals to check out in North Olmsted, OH. After having Turkish coffee for the first time a year ago, I had to order it again. Gosh, if you need a good & yummy caffeine pick-me-up, this place has got you covered. Staff were rather kind when I visited Shibam with my friend; when my friend's coffee order was accidentally made twice, they offered up the second as one to take home for later. So after my last in person meeting, I drove over and got another cup. The gentleman, who took my order yesterday, remembered me and he knew the coffee I ordered. I am now drinking my second cup of fantastic and flavorful Shibam coffee (and I bought several delicious pastries to take home). Love it. read more

The coffee was really good, I got a Spanish latte (espresso, condensed milk, and cream), it was delicious! My guest ordered a strawberry açaí refresher and it tasted really fresh as well. However, this shop was extremely busy when we went with little service available. It's a small shop, so there isn't much room to move around. The tables are left dirty, so expect to ask someone to wipe them down. Overall, a cute spot but not too expensive and small for me. read more
