Walk in - Internet Lead Got a Surface Tagus piercing from "Dmitrii Brut." He was really nice & welcoming. Cracked a few jokes. Gentle with the needle. I would definitely recommend coming here. No other tattoo shops would do the piercing I wanted. He seems to be very knowledgeable. read more

Today was a special Day for my cousin bc she was turning 18 and getting her first tattoo. We initially went to the one In Schaumburg, but they didn't have any bookings for the day. We were eventually planning to do piercings but she wanted a tattoo instead. She said " if I get one, you have to get one too " I didn't go into a tattoo parlor w/ a tat idea, but that's okay too Receptionist called for me from Schaumburg to see if there was any space at Franklin park and they recommended us Mike. I walked into Atmosphere Tattoo Gallery and we approached Mike and introduced us and also asked for a discount. He was so generous, so nice, and so sweet about doing our tattoos last minute. We were offered water as we walked in getting tattoos and we had people explain the process of consent forms and what not. I went first to get my tattoo and my friend Krissy did a intense drawing for a sunflower for me. I got it w/ Mike and he was so sweet, gentle, and patient with me. My personality accidentally came off too strong and he still was so nice to me, so I appreciate it so much. He showed me the placement for my tattoo and initially I wasn't okay with it, so we tried to do different placements until I was happy with the final product. Super patient with me! This type of kindness goes a long way with me! The previous tattoo parlors I've been too had been not as generous and kind as Mike and he was easily one of the funniest people I've met. Mike is such a good vibe and he cares about privacy and your health too. As long as he's making his customers happy, he's vibing and happy. He was really gentle with doing my tattoo and explained the process and disinfected everything. I really appreciate Mike doing my tattoo and initially I was anxious and excited, but he made me feel comfortable to the point where I was okay and didn't stress too much. Mike is an outstanding tattoo artist with excellent customer service with a ton of patience and super willing to work with people. I appreciate anyone with a good vibe and someone who can crack jokes while doing tattoos for me. There's a book with his amazing tattoos that he's done on previous clients and when I say he's really good, he's the best tattoo artist I've had thus far and I'm most definitely going back to get more tattoos and referring friends to him! As we checked out, he explained aftercare and told us to reach out to him on IG if we needed anything. He made sure we were happy, and safe along with concerning for our privacy needs. In addition, he gave us both an amazing price for our tattoos & also gifted us an aftercare tattoo care. I had easily one of the best experiences at this tattoo place & I can't wait for more tattoos in the near future. Definitely and highly recommend Mike if you're doing big tattoos too! Love this place! The setting is so nice! Awesome vibes and friendly staff. Wanted to get my eyebrow pierced, and I got Jules. She was awesome! Assured me everything was gonna be okay and did my eyebrow quick and efficiently. Incredible! She also is very informative and knows a lot about jewelry. I do not recommend this place, I've had a bad experience with one of the tattoo artists - Chito Ramos. He does not respond to messages, leaves you on seen and it's impossible to schedule an appointment. Very disrespectful behavior especially towards a client and representing a company. read more

Vito M is amazing!!! He listened to all of my ideas, no judgement, and drew up the coolest tattoo I think I have thus far! This place was amazing! All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional. Compared to other tattoo places this one was extremely organized and thorough with paperwork, receipts, and clearly explained their policies. Their prices are very reasonable and the estimates they give you for how long the tattoo will take are spot on. I had Vito Masellis do a partial cover-up and fill in the background for my tattoo. He is a very skilled artist and understood my needs about the colors and blending effects I wanted. I am also an artist but I work with paint on canvas so it was nice to have somebody who gets it and who understands color quality and concepts of design. The place is clean and a good vibe. Vito and Jared are nice and do good work, but Mike did two of my tattoos and I'm not his biggest fan. The lines are too thick and a bit raised - I think they're scarred. He was also a little smug/rude which made me uncomfortable. It's also sketchy that they do Tatt2Away - not a good idea for anyone looking to remove a tattoo. read more
