I have been a brand ambassador and promotional model for nearly 15 to 20 years now. I have team leadership experience am well seasoned. I am also in SAG-AFTRA. first of all they're having events at malls where you can't find any parking. You have to put your own personal property at risk just to be able to work the event. So then I had to move my car to a safer place because it was going to get hit where I was told to park. They literally allowed me to check allow me to go find parking and then when I got to the table told me that I was being replaced by. Christiana is too faced, and you do all of the on boarding and will literally let you check in and drive all the way there and not tell you that they are replacing you. After I drove across Los Angeles to be here. And it is a very busy mall parking lot. I worked events at this mall before. And where they wanted me to go with a completely different place. Literally the same company that made me have to do a training yesterday. Made me have to do interviews with them and made me have to do over an hour and a half of preparation for them to send me home from an event with no - a scam at the very least what is legally called wage theft. Out of all agencies - this is one of the lowest rates and one of the worst ways I've ever been treated. I was actually not planning on doing any more events with the company after this because they're on boarding process is so disrespectful to your time. But now I will make sure that everybody knows not to work with them. Immediately when walking on to the event, I ran into a former team manager on the same team. She recognized my level of work right away from all of events at the Los Angeles convention center we worked. She even said that I could stay, and did not feel good and asked for me to stay. Just to be mean they continue to say she must stay and they made her work, while sending me home. They are a very cold company and once again they pay very low rates and they expect too much. Additionally they are shady because I never committed to any other events and I keep on logging into my profile and they keep on adding me to events in Orange County that I know I cannot drive too. This is probably the most unprofessional Staffing Agency in the entire country. After spending enough time filling all the documentation from them and their payroll company, and of course being confirmed for a 3-day assignment in San Mateo (picture), they took me off board without sending me any notice. So, after setting aside three days to work with them (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday... actually, the entire week), all of a sudden, the same day, around 8:30 AM, I was finally kicked off the job through a text message from the Staffing Manager... By the way, they don't answer phones, which was one of the things I noticed a bit rare since the beginning. Stay away from these people. In my opinion, they are only trying to get our information; probably, for marketing purposes. But in regards to work, zero, nothing, pure BS. ATN is OK Some assignments are fun depending on who's in charge. What I find unprofessional are some of the men in charge act like it's a hunting ground for women. They make sure these women are called for jobs. They give them the lightest work loads. It can be down right disgusting. No professionalism. If you're not a favorite then you won't hardly get any work. The Company's communication is ridiculous. The payroll dept barely responds to email nor do they resolve problems . It was such a great time and everyone was amazing but when it came down to payment, I still never received payment as all of my coworkers have been paid and now the company is no longer responding to me to resolve not me not being paid so I would not recommend if you wanna make sure you're going to get paid correctly or even paid at all. read more

I've been working with ATN since 2015 and I've had a fun experience so far. I signed up because I wanted to experience unique events while earning extra pocket money. Most of the jobs I've worked are not difficult and ATN and the assigned client will train you beforehand so that you are prepared to work. ATN's events are always fun and there is a wide range of companies that you can work with. Keep in mind, you may be standing between 4-7 hours depending on what event you are selected to work for so please read the job descriptions well. Some of my favourite jobs include working with Ford car company for 3 days during the Jazz and Rib Festival in Columbus (July 2017) and working with Zevia, a natural soda company, at the 2016 Regional CrossFit games in Columbus, Ohio. Attending events and meeting great people are a huge plus with working with ATN. I am currently assigned to Kia Motor Company where I work at some NBA (Cleveland Cavs) basketball games promoting the KIA brand and signing attendees for fun giveaways. If you have a full time job like myself, you can still sign up with ATN. They have weekend jobs in addition to weekly gigs. The pay isn't as competitive as some other event marketing agencies that I've worked with but I love that ATN pays you fast (within 2-3 weeks of an event) and there is direct deposit. read more

Stay away from this company. One of the reps they sent us employed unethical business practices. Another did not perform well, discuss his pay rate with our employee, and when he was termed he called that employee and blamed him. One started, went thru training, and left to take a modeling assignment. Every time we were told this never happens. The attitude of the account rep? Sorry, just pay the bill. If you're considering working for or doing business with ATN, you should know that this isn't a good company. They continuously break employment laws and discriminate against job candidates. Another really bad thing about ATN, is the absolute lack of communication. You can only contact them through email or a phone they have listed (no-one ever picks up). I contacted them three times regarding an assignment and never received a response, even though I was an "independent contractor" for them. I have worked for ATN for over a year now and the on-site manager is horrible. She is very disrespectful when addressing questions, concerns, she even made a girl want to walk off the event because she started yelling at her, does not know how to manage people, the BA's were doing her job and she just stood back and watched them, she let some BA's come late (approximately 1 1/2 hours late and then paid them for a full shift (that's theft in my book). It would be alot better if they got rid of her and replace her with someone who is professional, proficient and deserving of the job. Where to begin! Manager Marcus... oi. HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE HR DEPARTMENT INFORMATION. He tried to hang up on me instead of giving me his boss's email or HR. Not recommended. Nikki booked me and then while working told by the event manager on site an ultimatum. She seemed surprised and uncomfortable telling me to leave because the client was upset I had a chair. Bazaar because it wasn't an issue with ATN. I called Marcus her manager of the event of ATN because it was unsurprisingly strange and he said yes, you didn't tell me you needed to sit. I felt really bad for the rest of the employees. Another person was pulled from a position they were hired for to do something else they weren't hired for. And another person went home because they wanted everyone to work outside and some in the rain. Non of this was in the in the interview Marcus claimed to be. They over staffed I think to send people home. Gig workers are the backbone of their business. I messaged the president on LinkedIn to ask his for help in completing my pay but no response. I don't think they have an HR department. I have no other contact information other then Marcus and Nikki but they haven't responded to me by phone. I don't have their emails. Im sad to say they don't treat their staff with dignity or respect. They are not Pride staff. That's how they got my information. I randomly get emails from ATN and stopped getting them from PrideStaff. I worked with peide staff years ago for super bowl 50. The owner was on site and worked with everyone. You never contact anyone for anything job related after business hours no matter how late you work! even still I was up and moving so I responded anyway and we made a appointment for the following day to chat! SHE NEVER CALLED OR TEXTED ME THAT DAY! Unprofessionalism is through the roof! How could you forget about an appointment made literally twelve hours prior to you reaching out? Terrible company. Or maybe just terrible representation by 1 person. Was driving in to a huge event in Boston, well before scheduled shift I sent a screenshot of the map and how it was all red, accidents were going to make me insanely late. I did not receive any response. When I got there I paid for parking and went through security calling my contact, who was still not answering. Suddenly I get a text saying because I am late I am not needed. He couldn't have said this long before, when I sent the message about traffic- it was early morning before anybody should have been there, he definitely could have replied to me, instead of after I was already there. I've been working with ATN promo since 2005 yep, 10 years. I have infrequently worked however they always welcome me with open arms when I return to the South East. I must say I am happy they have joined forces with Atrium Staffing to have a better payroll system and opportunities; and they also continue to offer work with above average hourly rates. I always get paid within the maximum time frame they allow for invoicing etc. Everyone who is hired isn't always happy to not be paid immediately, but I've been in the promo and acting business for years. I have worked with ATN for the past few years and I absolutely love it. I have worked with T-mobile, Chrysler, Ford and AT&T to name a few brands. I had the opportunity to meet and work along side people from all over the county promoting different companies while having a great time. I have met some of the greatest group of friends that I still keep in contact with. A lot of people complain about the pay schedule but it just all depends when you work and if it falls in the pay period. In the end you will get paid for your time.... not a big deal to me. If I could give negative stars, I would. Currently talking to legal counsel about a small claims court lawsuit. My paycheck was shorted hours and when I contacted them, I received an anonymous reply telling me they would only look into the matter if I provided multiple photographs of myself at the event. This promo company is about as close to five stars as any could get. I might even throw in a 4.5 because the longer I work for them, the better they treat me! I've been doing promotions since I was 16 so I have quite a bit of experience with a number of companies in this industry under my belt. I've been with ATN for a few years & they stand out because as I said, they keep track of you and show you their appreciation. They let you know when you're doing a great job and where you stand in their roster which is nice to know. Usually, promo companies are states away and you can't put faces to names, making the process completely impersonal. Yes, ATN is in Chicago, Illinois & I'm in California, but I've talked to almost every member of their staff at one point and they are all kind, follow up, & keep me well informed. The fact that they are so easily accessible is extremely unique and I LOVE it! Another plus I've seen is that there is definitely room to grow & gain more responsibility with this company.. who doesn't like it when you get to reap rewards for the hard work you endure? This is by far the best promo company I've ever worked with at every management level. They are upfront with you, pay reasonable rates corresponding to the work requested from you, & if you do a great job, they consistently send more work your way. I would highly recommend NOT working for this company unless you prefer to wait several months for payment. Please do yourself a favor and read the contract before working, as it is written unfairly one-sided. There is no guarantee that you will be paid until ATN is paid by the vendors who hired them. I was told by the president (Joey) of the company, "If we don't get paid, you don't get paid." No one agrees to work for free, and I believe a Judge would agree. Be careful because the contract makes you an independent contractor and not an employee protected by a substantial amount of employment law. In order to receive compensation in the event ATN fails to pay, you must pursue legal action, which itself can be more than the amount you are owed. With regards to the staff (Cassandra): I was told many times via email that "we are sure you will be paid soon." However, it was FOUR MONTHS from the time I worked to the time I received a check in the mail. When I called the Chicago office, I was greeted with hostility for inquiring into the whereabouts of my payment. I was told that the President (Joey) would contact me, but it took another week and two calls on my part before the President called. If you do other searches on ATN, you will see that this behavior is not abnormal, but rather a normal and consistent business behavior.
