This was such a cool spot to eat and have a beer with a fantastic view of the Columbia river. Service was quick and friendly. Got the chipotle black bean burger with avocado and the pasta with Italian sausage. They were out of a few beers but still had a big selection. Had the kolsch, nothing better than a beer with that view. We've been visiting Rattlesnake Mountain (formerly Kimo's!) for as long as I can remember, and they've only gotten better. The decor and overall vibe has been the same forever and we love the consistency. Some of the staff is the same as well. Service is always quick and efficient, even when it's busy. We love the poke nachos so much, we always start with them and were known to DoorDash them during COVID. Using wonton strips instead of chips, they're layered in sweet and sour, wasabi sauce, seaweed salad, and all kinds of things. They're spicy and amazing. We also enjoy their pizzas, salads, and more. They have a full bar and a large selection of beer including flights. One of my favorites whenever I visit my hometown, and I always look forward to my next visit. read more

We had such a great experience at Rattlesnake Mountain Brewing! Our group was pretty big, including 6 energetic kids all under the age of 6 and the staff handled it like total pros. Huge shoutout to our waitress (I wish I'd caught her name!) she had vibrant purple hair and an even brighter attitude. She absolutely crushed it. Patient, attentive, and on top of every single order, she even kept drinks full without anyone having to ask. The food was also fantastic, super tasty and very reasonably priced, especially considering how crazy everything is in today's economy. I'd like to start off with, I love Rattlesnake and I'm only giving a truly honest review in hopes it makes them a better establishment. The food is great, 10/10-from the burgers to the pizza. Drinks are always great. The view couldn't be any better with the river, all the TVs are great playing sports. Now for the bad, my last two experiences here the service has been below average then simply bad. Im not one to complain, im understanding-the first time I gave a pass because it was decently busy but nothing crazy. This past visit was honestly not busy at all. We got drinks quick then didn't see our waitress again until we got our food-I know they have other sides and we weren't asked a choice and she was gone before I even had a chance to change it. Food came out slow in relativity to how busy it was. Again we didn't see our waitress until it was time to pay. No refills or checking on things, we actually had to wave her down for the check en because it was well past time to go. I'll definitely eat here again because the food is great but I hope this service issue is corrected by then-I know if it was my restaurant I'd like to know personally before losing repeat customers over it and recommendations. read more

Fantastic service in a fun atmosphere. Good value for the food and big, shareable portions. We reserved a table in advance and arrived to find our table all ready to go and a warm greeting as we walked in the door. Our server Raven was a delight and fast with our orders. The pizza here is good (not Chicago good, but good) and the seafood platter was huge with plenty of popcorn shrimp, fried clams and more to share with tasty dipping sauces. The potato skins were a great appetizer too. I tried a light beer flight so I could try several flavors and I liked the light pilsner and lighter IPA. Being from Chicago it was fun to see two Chicago sports legends up on the wall here. This appears to be a popular watering hole for locals as a lot of people seemed to know each other coming in the door. Only thing that could be improved were the sticky chairs and tables. Let's start with the good...yes there was a view of the river right next to the busy road in front of restaurant. My hubby's hamburger was pretty good, my half shrimp salad had 4 shrimp. The service was incredibly slow. Waited 30 minutes for meal and the place was half empty. Waitress never asked to refill our drinks. The tables need a serious scrubbing there was dried food hanging from the patio tables. The cushions on the patio chairs were dirty and stained. Overall, I'd pass on this one. read more

Ahi Nachos & a 1/2 order of chicken nachos at Rattlesnake Mountain Brewery - As summer draws to a close eventually so will my nachos hunt, but not quite yet! Friday's excursion was interesting because it required a giant lunch, a sweet friend & an almost nap (the nachos were so boring they almost put us to sleep). My friend Haunssey joined me for this experience, and we both had the same reaction. . .Boring, so boring. Starting with the chicken nachos -- No guacamole, no beans, no personality. I make better nachos at home. $12 for a 1/2 order of plain Jane nachos, what?! I wanted so much more! These were obviously meant to appease a deeply drunken belly, but even Mayberry's always drunk Otis from the Andy Griffith Show deserved better! To be fair, they were edible. That's about it. Crispy yet unseasoned chips, decent chicken, tasteless cheese, a small handful of canned black olives, and a scoop of uninspired salsa. Sad As for the Ahi Nachos, they faired better. Both Haunssey & myself agreed on that point. I liked the seared ahi tuna, but it wasn't Haunssey's thing. The wonton chips were a little greasy. The fresh avocado was a nice touch but way too much teriyaki sauce. Some chips were sadly drowning in it & it overpowered the freshness of the avocado. The wasabi seeds on the side were a nice touch (sprinkle at will), and we elected to leave off the wasabi mayo. Therefore, it is hard to know if that element would have ramped the dish up or held it back? Also, the service was ok. Again, the whole experience was kinda boring. We brought friends from out of town for lunch today. I had the super food salad w blackened salmon. That is a delicious salad and having the salmon blackened was a bit overpowering for the salad this time. I will go back to having the regular grilled salmon on it next time so I can taste the flavors of the blue cheese, craisins, avocado and walnuts. My husband chose the meat pizza which was top notch! Our friend ordered the spicy burger. All delicious. The atmosphere was great w a view of the river. This was the second brewery that escaped my notice until I was actually in the Tri-Cities in the middle of my trip! At Kimo's I once again kept it simple since I had an huge lunch and did not want to eat anything. So I just stuck to a beer. The place is sports bar oriented as it implies but the set up is cute and was not too noisy when I was here. The brewery part of the restaurant is technically called Rattlesnake Mountain Brewery and Kimo's is more the restaurant part. Anyway what I got here was the Hickory Smoked Porter. When the mood hits right I really do enjoy these so called "woody" drinks (Hickory). And the mood arrived! The beer was very good and one of the more memorable breweries that were not on Logston Blvd in town as far as the quality of beer goes. read more

While in the Tri-Cities for a medical visit at Kadlec from Yakima this spot was suggested for a late lunch. Nice location, looks onto the river- very casual pub/restaurant atmosphere. Best part was the friendly greeting as soon as we walked in the room. Seems to have quite a few regulars known by name. My husband had the black and blue burger and beer fries- delicious! The Kimo's of yesterday is long gone. It's sad that it is now nothing more than a high end dive bar. When you pull into the parking lot from the street, it looks like a business that was closed and the building is being condemned. The smell inside is that of a nursing home filled with dirty adult diapers. The menu's, tables, door handles, etc. are sticky beyond belief, as if they never clean the place. You can't tell who the staff is because they all wear street clothes. It used to be a great place to go for everyone at anytime of the day. Now it's just a place for alcoholics to drink at, and be able to legally bring their kids along because they serve food, which is overpriced and served cold. The bathroom was filthy. And they had only opened an hour before. The whole staff should be fired. This place should be closed by the health department. read more

This place has turned into a joke. I've been going there the last few yrs for 49ers games. Always had fun and good service till this yr. the service just kept going down hill as the season went along. At times it would take over an hr to be able to order or they would never come back and refill my drinks. Sometimes it would take over an hr to get my bill when I asked for it. We have been coming here for years. They are always friendly and accommodating to our large and ever-growing family. It is the only place in town we can afford a kids meal that isn't crazy over priced, and we have 8 kids! This is our 2nd time dining here. The first being almost 8 years ago. I was hopeful it had gotten better. If anything, its gotten worse. And that was hard to do from such a poor review before. The service was atrocious. It was 5pm on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant wasn't horribly busy. The waiter acknowledged us long enough to get drinks. He came back and took our appetizer order but didn't ask which variety so we flagged him down to tell him. He served them to us. And just left. Helped another table. Didn't notice our empty drink cups or ask us if we ready to order dinner. I had to track him down to ask if we could order. By this time we've been here almost 45 min and still no drink refills. Through the rest of the meal, the service never improved. We got our food and went to walk away and we had to interrupt him to get that refill finally! The food was very mediocre. I've had brisket many times but that brisket sandwich was some weird consistency meat. The deep fried pickles on it were soggy. The fries were delicious though.
