My friend and I had a bizarre experience here…read more We called ahead to confirm they did inner lip tattoos--they said yes and booked us for a week later. We arrived and filled out our forms. We were the only people in the waiting area and there were two employees sitting behind the counter. Eventually, a man (presumably our artist) came out, sat behind the counter, started eating pizza, and didn't acknowledge us. Without looking up, he said, "I'll take your money, but you're gonna be disappointed." At first we were confused and weren't even sure if he was talking to us. When we said we still wanted to try, he basically said we'd be stupid to get them--while repeating that he'd still happily take our money. He never introduced himself, never made eye contact, and seemed irritated by our presence . I have 21 tattoos and I really appreciate when an artist gives me advice and honestly, I appreciate that he was trying to warn us about wasting our money, but his hostility and lack of respect was a deal breaker. We ended up walking out because I didn't feel comfortable letting him tattoo us. All of this could have been avoided if they had simply told us they didn't want to do inner lip tattoos instead of letting us book. I wouldn't recommend going here unless your want to be ridiculed.

They asked for pictures of my scar and pictures of what I was thinking of putting over it. The reply I received was so utterly pretentious that I am astonished. Apparently, the "artist" will be selecting submissions "by lottery" and they MIGHT get back to me by August (It is currently mid-January)! I don't know if they just didn't like my ideas and couldn't come up with any original ideas, or if they are just soooo very busy that there are absolutely no openings for the next 8 months.... I went to a studio in NYC and they told me that the jewelry they put in my ears had nickel in it which is why it wasn't healing properly. I expect that if i'm paying a premium for better jewelry, that it wouldn't have a toxic metal in the jewelry and that the pericer would know bette... even I know better. it's day 3 with new jewelry in (titanium and gold) and they have already started to heal.

I have been tattooed here several times by two different artists, and each time I have had a great experience. The shop itself is very big, so there is plenty of space and you don't feel like you are crammed into a tiny room with other customers. There's also a private room where you can have your tattoo done if you don't want everyone to see. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and don't make you feel silly for asking lots of questions! I've had a large half sleeve done by Rick. It was a Japanese style dragon that was done in multiple sessions. I had an idea of what I wanted for the design, and I gave him free rein to do what he wanted with the color and placement. He is meticulous with stenciling and placing every element of the tattoo so that nothing is crooked or awkwardly placed. I have quite a bit of other work done on that arm in a different style, so I was worried about whether the dragon would flow with the rest of my tattoos, but he was able to make the design fit seamlessly with the other tattoos. It's been almost a year since I finished that tattoo and everything healed perfectly. The colors are still vibrant. I also have a tattoo by the artist Ron on my ankle. I picked the design from his book. Ron is also friendly and knowledgable, and had some ideas for making the colors on the tattoo pop and still be visible on my skin tone. The tattoo was one in one session and the lines are crisp and smooth. I highly recommend this shop. The pricing is really reasonable for the quality of tattoo that you get, and it's a comfortable and friendly environment.
