We were the only people in the waiting area and there were two employees sitting behind the counter. Eventually, a man (presumably our artist) came out, sat behind the counter, started eating pizza, and didn't acknowledge us. Without looking up, he said, "I'll take your money, but you're gonna be disappointed." At first we were confused and weren't even sure if he was talking to us. When we said we still wanted to try, he basically said we'd be stupid to get them--while repeating that he'd still happily take our money. He never introduced himself, never made eye contact, and seemed irritated by our presence . I have 21 tattoos and I really appreciate when an artist gives me advice and honestly, I appreciate that he was trying to warn us about wasting our money, but his hostility and lack of respect was a deal breaker. We ended up walking out because I didn't feel comfortable letting him tattoo us. All of this could have been avoided if they had simply told us they didn't want to do inner lip tattoos instead of letting us book. I wouldn't recommend going here unless your want to be ridiculed.

They asked for pictures of my scar and pictures of what I was thinking of putting over it. The reply I received was so utterly pretentious that I am astonished. Apparently, the "artist" will be selecting submissions "by lottery" and they MIGHT get back to me by August (It is currently mid-January)! I don't know if they just didn't like my ideas and couldn't come up with any original ideas, or if they are just soooo very busy that there are absolutely no openings for the next 8 months.... I am incredibly disappointed with their elitist attitudes and, honestly, my feelings are rather hurt.

I went to a studio in NYC and they told me that the jewelry they put in my ears had nickel in it which is why it wasn't healing properly. I expect that if i'm paying a premium for better jewelry, that it wouldn't have a toxic metal in the jewelry and that the pericer would know bette... even I know better. it's day 3 with new jewelry in (titanium and gold) and they have already started to heal.
