I had a terrible experience here several years ago and it has taken me until now to be able to talk…read moreabout it. I was a first time tattooer, and I went to have my wrist, and hand done. For courtesy I won't use the name of the girl who did them but she was short, lithe and blonde. We had a great time. She asked me to come back a few weeks later to continue the work. But when I came back she said I wasn't healed enough. That's ok, looking out for me and I appreciate that. The review should be a five if it ended there this would be a five.... but it sadly doesn't. I asked her to do wings on my back and handed her some pictures of feathers I had drawn. She agreed and said she would design me WINGS. I came into to look at sketches of them a few weeks later and they seemed pretty good. The same night she finished my arm. I thought we had a good time. But she would later tell me I was demanding. If I was I wish she would have just told me to slow down or something right then I was just excited. When I returned to get outlined on my back... the final product... didn't have a feather on it. It had circles and lines and balls. It looked like something that the people on the "Clint Eastwood" video would get. I said no. And she seemed cool about redoing. And she suggested I pick out a zodiac symbol to do on my arm with the money I had left deposited as I had given them 300 in advanced to work on me. The one thing she mentioned was not to spring the zodiac design on her ight when I got their. So, I called a few days before and left a message asking if I could look at her email and the libra symbol that I had sent and she called and left me a voice mail that still makes me cringe when I think of it, saying I was in considerate springing the zodiac idea on HER, and that I had cost her 500 in money and she didn't want to work with me and I was banned from the shop and to come get my money. I am handicapped and I don't drive and when I told them and asked they actually opened their own paypal account to get rid of me. She was the one who drew a picture against my wishes and she was the one who told me to choose a zodiac sign. She was... kinda IDK. I am a really nice person who was 40 and had never had a tattoo in her life, and just wanted to look pretty. I was so excited. The quality of the tattoos is sort of shadowed by the epic horror story of how I got them. If you insist on going, my advice is, I guess you need to really know what you want in advance if you go to flying aces...

It was not pierced to match my left one that I already had. After months of trying to heal it, I decided to take it out. Ruby offered to Pierce it again for free, which was very kind of her. However, due to angling issues I decided against it and asked for an ear piercing instead. Which again, she was kind enough to do. We did a conch piercing. I thought something was wrong when I noticed a butterfly post being used for my piercing. As far as I know from my knowledge of piercings those are never used except MAYBE ON LOBES. It should have been a 16g flat back. When I asked, ruby said the butterfly post was indeed 16g, and when I changed it out once it healed I could easily put a 16g in. I decided to trust her because she's the piercer and should know better than me. After I left, looking and feeling it, compared to all of my other earrings which are 16g I realized this was no different than any normal earring butterfly back you could get at Claire's. I immediately took it out. The hole itself was at best a 20g she might have pierced me with. I don't know if she did this because it was a free piercing and she didn't want to waste her good jewelry on me, but I'm hurt. I've gone to her for now four piercings. Tipped every time. Recommended her to others. I can't say I'll do the same anymore. Needless to say it's already closed and I'll be doing elsewhere for piercings. I'm disappointed. Pics attached.

Bad experience, will never return to this shop. All other shops were closed so this was our only…read moreoption for nose piercings. Upon entering the building, no one was at the desk. I wasn't aware it was cash-only and said I needed to run next door to the ATM. She told me if I wasn't back in 15 minutes, she wouldn't be able to do the piercing. My friend and I took maybe 5 minutes or so, returned to the shop, and proceeded to wait another 15-20 minutes. My piercing went fine, my friend's did not. She went to a different shop for a second opinion and they advised her to remove the jewelry from her nostril and allow it to heal as it was pierced at an incorrect angle. No mask worn this whole time by Ruby. And I didn't really appreciate her comment about me getting my nose pierced "on the gay side". Unnecessary, unprofessional, and rude.

As this was my first tattoo I had so many basic questions and she brought up things I didn't know that I didn't know. Nicole was collaborative from the start. She took the time to understand what I was truly trying to achieve and helped take a crowded rough sketch and turn in into an art piece better than I ever Imagined could be done. The shop is clean, spacious, and well maintained. Single use sterile equipment. All with fun friendly vibe. Cons: Need a cushy pillow for the tattoo chair seat #numbButt.
