The irony of me visiting on "Customer appreciation day" and leaving feeling very unappreciated is beyond me. Pros: -Good selection -Good location -Cool budtenders -Fun farmers market (last Saturday of the month) Cons: -high prices, taxes, and fees -baller bag is no longer balling -high turnover rate (always new (inexperienced) budtenders and managers) -lack cannabis knowledge -lack diversity I shop at Atrium AT LEAST once a month. I usually go for their monthly farmers market/customer appreciation day where there are vendors, deals, and usually good vibes. I also like to get the "baller bag" where you get a goodie bag when you spend $300+ (used to be $250). Recently I had questions about my prior purchase because there were recent price and tax increases that left me confused. I asked for clarity and a manager confirmed the recent price increases, yet offered me compensation.. this was nice of him since I did not ask, nor was I expecting anything but an explanation and clarity. Since then, I've had a hard time using the credit offered and of course the manager is no longer there. Recently, I spoke with a new manager Roberto, who tried to explain the price increases again... I still don't get it because there's no clear explanation and honestly the price increases seems shady. He then says "hold on, I got something for you" had me waiting just for him to bring me the same USELESS punch cards I get with every other purchase. Idk what's going on at Atrium, but it's going downhill, fast. I will not be returning monthly, because I don't like my last couple experiences with the price gouging and bait/ switch sales tactics. The "baller bag" used to make up for paying a little extra because it often included products I could use but this last baller bag (from 3/25/23) was the worse! There were far less products than I've received in the past and most of which I won't use. I'll try to include pics. As for the products, I stick with the same brands and avoid their recommendations. But for the brands I stick with, they usually have a nice supply. The budtenders service was usually cool, although I wish there was more diversity in the staff (age, race, consumption preferences, etc... most are young kids who just want to get stoned and lack knowledge of different types of cannabis, cannabinoids, methods of consumption, terpene profiles, etc.). The turnover rate seems high, theres always new budtenders... I prefer to work with someone who's familiar with my taste bc every recommendation I've tried from a budtender has been terrible. Management is even worst, there seems to be a new manager each time I visit and they seem to lack in-depth knowledge about cannabis as well... but I guess they're just there to watch the dollars. read more

I am mostly confused, but also extremely disappointed. My first time coming to this externally appealing shop, I realized it was all a facade. I was very excited and heard that it was wonderful. I came inside looking for a product (I use these for medical reasons, with a license, for conditions such as: seizures and tremors) Knowing what I needed to get, I asked questions about certain strains and no one there seemed to be educated about the products. I felt as if I was being passed around to different employees trying to find answers to my questions. This was my first concern, but I put it aside hoping that it was just an off day. After finally finding something similar to what I originally wanted, I was told that it was unavailable through a miscommunication between the employees. This time I found something similar to the product I didn't want to begin with, and yet again, the staff was unaware of their inventory. Finally, after finding something somewhat adequate, I made my purchase and received my "first time deal." With that said, I came home excited to finally use the product I had settled for, that took/felt like forever to find. I opened the bag and it was a completely different product than what was discussed/purchased. I am still confused to this day, of if they intentionally took advantage of the situation (Knowing I was new), or if this was a mishap. On the first week of June Atrium Topanga close down for a few days. If we go back to when was this exactly it was when the riots were about to just end and things were going back to normal. Normal ? No more curfew is what I mean! We have all been lie too , Atrium use a bunch of excuses " the electricity is down , they were doing remodeling , they were trying to keep everyone safe from the riots , or that the system is down and many other excuses . One person told me the power was down the first day and that they had to closed down the dispensary .The second day I decided to see if they were open again closed ! I got the excuse that the system was down . Later on My buddy wanted to test his luck and see what would the staff say to him , he comes in the afternoon there's an atrium employee leaving the shop .The employee was a white kid with the Atrium uniform , my buddy asked "what happen ? , who ever that guy was he said "someone tested positive for covid 19 ".Wow Atrium just lies and lies !When Atrium was finally open a girl who works their had mention there was remodeling going on. Liars Atrium ! You guys had call a few people over the phone that someone tested positive for covid 19. Why didn't you guys tell the rest of the customers ? Everyone deserves to be told the truth and not just be lie too . Everyone could of gotten tested . read more

Customer service and security are unfriendly and illogical. It's a smoke shop guys, everyone there smokes. Why would you not allow a fellow smoker to smoke in your parking lot, not in the building but in the open air. To top it off, it was Herb that a friend purchased from your place of business. Does this soung logical to you? Get it together guys, either you're with us or you're not! Make a stand, dont capitalize monetarily off smokers, take their hard earned money, from your own customers then turn around and become just as dicrimitive as those against the Herbal Movement. WALK THE WALK, DON'T JUST TALK THE TALK! In my opinion we should shut down businesses such as these who DO NOT believe in the movement. REMEMBER the struggle, the hard work done to get us this far. I go out of my way to shop at Atrium in Woodland Hills even though there are other dispensaries that are closer to me because of their customer service. If you are in need of good bud w a super selection of goods, I highly suggest u check 'em out and if you're lucky, you'll get to deal w the master herb guru, Logan. He went out of his way to figure out how to make my 44$ go a very long way. I drive him crazy w specifics and he always takes care of me. Alexis is also top notch experience and their manager, Justin always checks in to see if you're being taken care of. Since the beginning, THe ATRIUM's well trained staff has performed well in front of me. Also, at times, they've exceeded my expectations. Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting staff member Ruby. This is my first yelp review for Atrium so why not let it be her. Ruby was very personable and when she learned I was on a budget she asked me straight out, "what are you looking to spend tonight? " When I heard that question I knew I was in good hands. Ruby, a young,, capable Top customer service rep, Made me change my opinion of larger dispensaries who I'm afraid have gone too corporate n put profit over people. Not The Atrium and not Ms. Ruby. This place is the best shop I've ever been to. Not only because they carry great product, but mainly because of their staff. I've been coming to Atrium for a couple years, and every single time they've been incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. Today I had to come back to the shop because of a malfunction w a cartridge I bought just yesterday, but Stephanie helped me out, and couldn't have made things easier for me. She was the absolute best. Really, whether you're an experienced cannabis user or a newbie, this place should be your #1 shop. OK, my husband and I come here more than we should admit, but we are far past due in writing this review. It's the only dispensary we go to and Atrium has fantastic deals and service. Their Baller Bag Saturdays are definitely the day to go. You can mingle with different cannabis vendors and learn about different products, then get lots of freebies with a qualifying purchase. All that to say, definitely check out this place! The service is also fantastic, but after over a year of frequently this place, we just found the BEST budtender around, Al. Al is a blessing! I came in looking to buy an OZ, but wasn't sure about how much I wanted to pay and she had no problem talking to me about different brands of different flower at all qualities and weights that I really appreciated. It allowed for me to make to best decision I could make and still get the best flower I could get. She informed me about an event happening this Saturday, and that it'd be better to wait on the OZ until then because I'd get not only 20% off, I'd get a lot of other products as well; and I couldn't be more than grateful!!!! If your looking for a great deal this is your place. If you come between 6am and 8am you can get 15% off any item in the store. Which is nice if your on your way to work, and you need quality at a fair price. When you walk in the store your the wait time can be very annoying. There usually a line and sometimes you can wait for 10 min before you get seen. But once your in the store it was worth the wait. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the store. The last day of the month they have a vendor day where they give away promotional items.
