I'm not a big user of marijuana products so have not been to many other locations. I live out of the area but a friend referred me to them for gummies to help me sleep. The staff has always been very accommodating and helpful, especially their male staff, greeter and security guard, the female behind the counter, and from prior reviews the business knows to whom I refer, has been OK but not personable or friendly like the rest. Prices are fine, occasional discounts, etc. they tend to run low on edible sleep gummies so sometimes it's hit or miss but I always find something that works. read more

This place is like Disneyland. Most importantly is they maintain items in stock. You can pretty much rely on them having what you want. I made the mistake of trying to quit cold turkey and had a horrendous time. So I asked them for advice on tapering down. They were able to walk me through it and offer sound advice. It's also very well lit, and when you walk in they have security but they don't treat you like a felon. It's a welcoming, upscale vibe but not ridiculously trendy or bougie. Uhhmmmm let's celebrate the legalization of recreational marijuana! DC Collective is the most sterile dispensary in the valley, or even LA. They have a well lit private parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. I love the fact that they have security guards protecting the facility, staff and customers. Their products are properly handled and regulated. Staff was generous with their time and did not rush or pressure me at any point. they told me that my medical marijuana license was fake and wouldn't allow me to enter into the dispensary a few years back and I told Chris the owner that was totally ridiculous and he just put his hands up in the air He couldn't help me and said that was his rules, I just simply went over to another dispensary called STRAIN where I have been going to for many many years prior to DC Collective and I got exactly what I wanted. I got treated with respect and my license for smoking medical marijuana was accepted, I will never go back to this place due to the fact that the employees have no idea what they're doing and it's always the same old same old attitude inside, they act as if they're doing me a favor just by helping me, no thanks I took my business elsewhere and I'm totally happy where I'm at, I do not recommend this place to anybody, especially if you don't like to be treated as if you're just a number ‍ read more

I dont know who is in charge of their pricing, but it seems way overpriced. They lure you in with the "all day happy hour" prices of 20% off....but have stuff priced WAY higher than other shops. Shops that also offer happy hours will have an Item priced at 40 pre pax, pre discount. DC will have that same product still more expensive after the discount. ALso OLD product, and package dates. I've only been in a few times, and every time, the staff look MISERABLE. To me, that's the working of poor management and ownership. If youre not taking care of your staff, it makes sense why the service is meh. Also one of the cashier managers (Patricia?) doesnt seem to know anything about product. I understand if you don't personally use it, but if your work in a dispensary...wouldn't you feel like you have to educate yourselves about the product? I use medicinally, and need access to consistent terpenes. Much is the case in ost shops, but it's hard to find things consistently. No one has any knowledge of when products will be back in stock or if they will get the strain again. While I imagine they are not in control of that, what is a disappointment is when I ask for strain with certain terpenes and the budtenders have no knowledge whatsoever. No education. DC seems to tout itself as a place for patients, but it seems like one of those cash grab dispensaries. Like the mural seems like performative activism to draw in more customers. Honestly didn't want to write this review, but the customer service i experienced yesterday was insane. I entered the store, and the security guard, as well as the man who helped me, were very nice and kind; accommodating my questions and all. As my first time purchase, and one of my first dispensary experiences, I was happy about this, they even offered me my 30% discount. However, my problem was the incredibly rude customer service I had with my cashier, her name was Natalie Gordon. As I approached the desk, I noticed a box with multiples of the same pods labeled 30% off, being curious, I asked what's the difference, between the pods in the basket, as compared to the pods I was buying (I was buying two stiizy pods, one that was the same as the ones in the box). I assumed they were pods they were trying to get rid of as there were multiples of the same pod in the basket. I tried asking her the difference, and she clearly was not interested in anything I was saying, barely responding, and when I repeated myself, elaborating if the discount would stack if I bought the one from the container rather than the one from the back, she responded snarkily saying "you already got your 30% discount, we can't give half off on product", which she proceeded to roll her eyes. That was not what I was asking at all, and early my 30% discount was for different reasons as compared to the discounts on the pods in the box, iso I'm sure she was giving me wrong information. With that being said, I bought my pods (at a crazy price because this store taxes so much the discount didn't really make a difference). While I was waiting for my brother, however, I noticed a leave a review get a free pre roll, and I did it. When I approached Natalie, who was the only one free at the desk at the time, I told her, and she just looked at me, and back at her computer. To me, it seemed as if she was ignoring me, to give her the benefit of the doubt, unsure if she knew I was talking to her, I told her again, and showed her my phone, to which she looked up, and snapped at me saying "I get it! I have to pull up your information again". I was taken aback, who lets their employees snap at customers, especially first time customers, and makes their first experience at this specific dispensary so negative?? I don't know if she was high and had a hard time communicating, or if she's just genuinely rude, but from some other negative reviews, I see that customer service at the counter isn't really taken seriously at this store. Unfortunately I will not be coming back to this dispensary despite the incredibly nice security guard, I just believe the customer service, and the taxing was incredibly outrageous, especially if it's my first time and you're, in assuming, wishing I'll be a full time customer at this establishment. read more
