His reply's to all complaints are all the same! Leaves his number to "make it right"!!! However when you call he never calls back!

Doesn't return calls even after publicly responding to review! What's the point to responding? Oh yes that's right! To make him look like he's trying! I called and left message and never got a call back!

BEWARE THE $79 DIAGNOSTIC FOR TRENCHLESS SEWER LINE REPAIR SCAM! THIS COMPANY LIES ABOUT THEIR SERVICES! Call Accurate Plumbing Instead!! My wife and I are new home owners here in Chico. We bought the house at the beginning of this year that we have been living in for the past 6 years. We were aware that our old septic line was going to need replacing, and thought that with our new baby coming at the end of May now would be a good time to start this process. We were very clear with the dispatcher and the technician that we were specifically interested in a quote for a trenchless sewer line repair using their $79 diagnostic special. Based on the information provided by their Today's Offer advertisement for Trenchless Sewer Line Repair Diagnostic on their website, they were supposed to provide the following for $79: We'll come to your home Diagnose the problem with your sewer line Provide a comprehensive report on the problem Present you with personalized solutions on what to do next NO service call fees. NO dispatch fees. Since I was not able to be home due to school I had my wife and brother wait for the technician and oversee the diagnostic service. We were both under the impression all we would need to pay is the diagnostic fee of $79 to get a quote for the repairs. The technician that came out to do this diagnostic told her that this fee only covered them coming to the home, not a full diagnostic. Strange, since their advertisement explicitly states there is no service call fees or dispatch fees. That sounds a lot like a dispatch and service fee to me. This was confusing to us since the ad clearly stated that it covered a diagnostic of the sewer line specifically for a trenchless sewer line repair which is what we were interested in. My wife witnessed the technician call his boss Mike to confirm that he needed to camera the line in order to diagnose it. Makes sense since there would logically be no other way to do a sewer line repair diagnostic. The technician told her that Mike said that in order to camera the line for a diagnosis, they would need to upcharge us $700 dollars, completely contradicting the advertisement on their website stating that the $79 charge covered a diagnosis of the problem. Why would they upcharge for a service that is a required and essential part of doing the sewer line diagnosis? But they would remove the $79 service fee if we did the diagnostic. Later that day we received and email of our bill for the $676 inspection of our line. In the bill they said they performed the following service: Attempt to clear clog with 3/4" cable machine from cleanout up to 100'. Includes all professional labor and material. Today my wife and I called to discuss this charge with them. The receptionist told her that it was probably an issue with using the wrong billing code and would call her back. Our technician called my wife a few minutes later to explain that they were trying to save us money by using this billing code since the camera charge would have been $900. My wife explained to him her confusion and concerns about why the diagnostic wouldn't include the service of the camera since that is the only way to perform the diagnostic that was advertised. The technician said he was not aware of the advertisement, and asked her to send him screenshots of it. He agreed this was confusing and he would talk to Mike about the issue. A few minutes later the owner Mike called my wife to discuss the dispute. He said that there has been some confusion and complaints about the ad, but that she should just have not agreed to the charge of $676. He refused to correct the issue, and told her he doesn't see how the ad was misleading. He stated that the $79 was just to have the technician come out and see if a camera would be needed. Again that is what a service and dispatch fee is, not a diagnostic fee, which the ad said there would be none. We have started a claim with Better Business Bureau and the Chico Consumer Protection Agency.

This is what was clogged up in my toilet wipes ... $485 for this !

Phil was very polite and respectful while doing the work. At first, we were very pleased with the work, which was done in June of 2021. However, after about 5 months or so, the floating vinyl flooring started to come up in places in the kitchen. We reached out, as we were surprised that it was coming up already, after only a few months of being installed. We were told at first that most likely our house foundation had shifted, which would cause the floor to come up. Keep in mind, we are on a concrete slab, and the same exact flooring that was put in by the front door and in the bathroom was not coming up. We were then told that it was most likely because there is a sliding glass door in the kitchen, which could cause the floor to come up. This also did not sit well with us, as I have known plenty of people that had floors installed in an area with a sliding glass door, and the floor didn't start coming up 5 months later. Additionally, at no point was this communicated to us while picking out the floor, install, or upon payment. After we didn't except this answers, Keith agreed to send someone out to look at the floor. But he sent the guy who originally installed the floors.. So, the guy who messed up the floors originally is supposed to fix them now? No surprise, he glued it down which laster about 48 hours. Maybe. Additionally, there was absolutely no follow up to see if the problem had been fixed. Not to mention there are gaps in the floor and wall in spots where the floor guy did not measure correctly, I have the pics below. Overall super unhappy that I paid 21 thousand dollars and ill have to get my kitchen floor replaced relatively soon. There seems to be no guarantee of work from this company, and Keith just didn't really seem to care to make things right with the family that wrote him a 21 thousand dollar check. It is what it is, but I will not be having them redo my closets as I had planned, and I can never suggest them as an option to anyone I know. It may seem harsh, but that is how I feel. I guess I just expected better customer service from a local company.

Both the owner & technician knew I relied on an onsite property manager since I couldn't always be present. The first service on 5/9/25 required 5 return visits over 3 weeks. Replacing the sink faucet caused a pipe to burst. The tech told my onsite assistant, who thankfully insisted on being present during the repairs, that he'd caused it, but the owner later called about his $665 invoice & insisted it was old pipes, so I paid in full. The tech later returned to restore sprinkler power he'd turned off, replace the well cover he'd left off, & replace the shower valve, since he'd initially ordered the wrong part; he came back again to install the correct one. I returned to the property 3 weeks later & found a large pool of water under the kitchen sink. The owner sent the same tech back, who showed me the leak was caused by piping he hadn't tightened. He confirmed I wouldn't be charged for that visit. A few days later, while I was still onsite, I called Atlas for a clogged disposal. The same technician was dispatched & demonstrated that he'd gotten the disposal cleared of eggshells & working before he left. It clogged again the next day, & that same day the new shower valve also broke. Frustrated, & before making any accusations, I hired another plumber who'd worked on the home for years (unbeknownst to me) to check Atlas' work, willing to pay extra if it turned out everything was legitimate. He found a P-trap cut too long had caused the disposal clog, & that the replaced shower valve wasn't the correct model. He charged $175 to fix both properly. When I called the owner to discuss my hesitation to pay his $436 invoice, he became furious, raised his voice, accused me of trying to dodge payment, & touted his years in business & online reviews. He mentioned he could be recording our call & insisted he should've been asked back since he guaranteed his work. I was shaken by the exchange & followed up with a detailed written account to protect myself. Given his hostile, unprofessional behavior & the shoddy work another plumber had to correct, I didn't pay the invoice. After one email exchange, Atlas never followed up, & it's taken me over a year to speak up after a traumatizing experience. I'm documenting this so no one else, especially other women, has to go through what I did, & because Atlas seems to prioritize its online reviews over actual customer experience & quality work.
