Our Subaru was sideswiped and the body shop quotes were in the $1000's. Ellis was able to rub out the scratches and restore the rear quarter panel to near perfect condition. Our RAM truck was much worse. With our camper on, it takes some abuse navigating narrow brushy dirt roads. Both sides had very visible scratches all the way down, some of them deep. We had taken it to another detailer here in Bend and he did an okay job but the scratches were still visible. Ellis worked with me to tailor a quote that was affordable and met my expectations. He and his assistant Cecil spent over 7 hours here at our home yesterday and went way over and above expectations, rubbing out the scratches, then polishing and waxing. Cecil even did the tires and windows inside and out, even though I had only asked for the scratches to be targeted. When they were done, it looked like it just came off the factory line. All the interior fabric and floor mats look nearly new. This vehicle is being listed for sale and I am confident that this cleaning will expedite how long that takes. David's website clearly states the detail I wanted *starts* at $250 and there will be additional cost for things like dog hair, sand, stains and odor - all of which my car has LOTS of. When I dropped my car off, I was given a more accurate quote. While it was higher than I expected, David thoroughly explained the difficulty of removing some of these things (especially sand) and the additional time it takes. At no point did I feel pressured to move forward with the clean. In fact, he explained some more budget-friendly options that were helpful, but ultimately I decided to use his services.
