I had an absolutely terrible experience with Attention to Detail Moving. They were careless and damaged 3 pieces of my beautiful, expensive furniture! They badly scraped the lower side of my Thomasville dresser and they chipped out a piece of wood of my Thomasville nightstand! They also tore the fabric of my nice Living Spaces sofa! The movers were dismissive when I pointed out the damage. They told me to file a Claim for the damages online, which I did. I'm still awaiting compensation 6 months later.... BTW the Claim company has not responded to my emails for the status of my claim nor returned my phone calls. I strongly advise against using Attention to Detail Moving. They are unprofessional and do not take care of your possessions. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reliable moving company. read more

I used this company and regret it. The didn't have experienced staff, the leader was rude and didn't organize things. The were supposed to pack everything but didi a terrible job. I had to buy more boxes. Boxes were not labeled. Clothes were jammed into boxes so very wrinkled. I still have boxes to unpack and am horrified. Jason and Mason (I'm not making this up) moved my father to his new place today. They were polite, upbeat, kind, and most of all, CAREFUL and respectful with my father's furniture and items. This wasn't the easiest of moves: I had things to donate, things to move to Dad's and things needing to stay at the house. There were 60 or 70 bankers boxes of books (and those weigh a ton). The move included a perilous stairway (with a chair lift totally in the way) on which they had to move a hugely heavy convertible sofa (and you know those things are SOOO heavy) and a seven foot tall antique walnut secretary. They cheerfully included several extras such as removing and putting back together a TV stand and crawling into tight spaces to unplug lamps. They then moved all of Dad's items into a senior living facility and into a tiny apartment. Everyone at Attention to Detail (Rafa, Colt, Jason, Mason) deserve the highest praise! Since I'm moving this month, I looked into moving companies. So to start, I made a post in a Facebook group in my town looking for movers. Many raved about this place, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Monday morning their office manager tells me someone needs to come survey my house. Mind you, I told her I'm merely renting a room. So no couches, no tables...none of that. Very easy job. And I would take care of the packing myself. But nevertheless, that Thursday I had to leave work early to go home and do it. Cesar texts me day of, asked if I could do it sooner. I said no, since I'm working. We ended up having to do it virtually (so FaceTime). Which was quick, but if it was virtual I would've preferred if we could've just done a phone call and I sent pictures. I don't like how it was changed last minute or that I had to miss work, but not the end of the world and stuff happens from time to time. So I got the quote after. For a single bedroom of things and moving one town over it was $1,000. For reference, they have a four hour minimum, which is standard amongst movers. But their rates are about $170/hr! Local movers usually cost around $100/hr...so that alone adds about $300 more. My quote also had a $129 "booking fee." Talking amongst friends and looking online, in short of asking them directly I have no idea what that is. But I'd have to be blind deaf and stupid to pay a quote with three figure mystery fees on it. But who knows, I could be wrong and it could very well be a legitimate fee. But since I'm not proceeding further I didn't bother to ask. All in all the quote was a little more than double on what I had planned to spend. Granted, if I was moving my entire house, that price would be more justifiable. Maybe. But if you're like me and are only renting a room, you're better off renting a U-Haul for literally less than a tenth of the price. read more

This morning My husband and I are unloading and moving our belongings out of the trailer dropped off. We used Attention to Detail to move long distance/across the country and it has been extremely stressful from the beginning. Furniture is broken, boxes are mangled, things were not wrapped properly, etc. Attention to Detail demanded payment upfront after I was told we would pay upon delivery. We received 1 of 2 trailers yesterday and movers were supposed to come at 1. I was told all day they were coming. At 4PM two young guys showed up that were subcontracted (I was told they do not subcontract) and could only work a few hours. They truck wouldn't open because things were just thrown in there and the doors were stuck. It took 45 minutes to open the truck and when they did things started falling out. Throughout this process the person we signed up with at Attention to Detail - Javid, would not answer our calls. One of the guys brought me his phone around 8PM to speak to a guy named Cory that said I needed to pay (I said - I already paid in full). I'm still in the middle of all of this and will update later but please use caution if using this company. read more

I CANNOT recommend this company any longer. We used them back in Dec 2019 to move us out of our house and store our belongings for 1 month. The move on Dec 5 went well. I have written an nice review regarding that specific move. Though they promised to pay me for reviewing them on Yelp, Facebook and google I have not received any money as they promised. I was really hoping not to have to leave this review however, they have left me no other alternative. This review is for the 2nd portion of the move. The problem we had with this company was when we chose to store items with them. I was told when they load your house into their trucks, they then have to unload the contents into containers for storage. When its time to deliver your items they unload from the containers and load onto trucks to drive out to your location. (Now I know that is too many times hands are on your items when you are not around). IF there is anything to large or if for some reason it doesn't go into one of your storage containers..it goes into "the yard". When we had our house delivered to us in January 2020, they had 1 truck and 2 guys. (They had 5 guys load up the house in Dec) They started unloading and when they were done they demanded payment (which was cash since they give you a discount). Once I paid in cash the 2nd truck showed up with only 1 guy. The three continued to unload the 2nd truck. When that truck was done unloading he took off and left the first two guys to finish putting everything away. At this point many boxes were still in the driveway. We could see these 2 guys were not going to be able to finish, so my husband and I had to help. It was dark when we all finished. Never thought I would have to pay for assistance to move when I thought I was paying for them to move everything! Items missing: we are missing two ladders, and 1 pole extension to our patio umbrella. We have only asked about our ladders. I was able to replace the pole for $18. We have made multiple phone calls and spoke with Steve. Lots of back and forth, "we will look for them", "oh we found them, we will have them delivered" etc. Steve even took a picture of the ladders and they put our name on them. Finally, he said he would have someone bring them to us on February 11. When that day came and went. We called and Steve and he was never available again, but we spoke with Michelle. We said the ladders were suppose to be delivered on the 11th. She put me on hold for a bit, came back and said..."they are suppose to be delivered on March 11". We even called back at 2pm as we were in town and said we could pick them up today. We were told the people in the storage yard have gone for the day and no one can unlock the area. We have been very patient but this is just ridiculous. Now I absolutely know they are not going to do anything about it. We have called many times, we have offered to pick up our 2 ladders when we were in town on 2/11. As I write this today it is 3/12/20 and those ladders that were promised to us on 3/11 were not delivered. We need our ladders so we had to go out and buy another one. They will not budge, they will not return our ladders, they will NOT reimburse us as we upgraded the insurance for moving. DO NOT bother upgrading the insurance. Notes: 1) I can NOT recommend using this company for storing your items and out of town moves. 2) Don't bother with extra insurance with this company. They waste your time making promises they don't keep. There are many moving companies out there, please try another one. read more

These guys are great! We contracted them to pack, move and store our 3 bedroom house until the new house could be remodeled. A great team, lead by Karl, came in and wrapped and packed everything meticulously to get ready for the move. They came back to load all the boxes and furniture, which took 2 truckloads, and I was absolutely amazed at the skill and speed of this crew. When we were ready for them to move everything into the new house a month later, we were happy to see Karl again lead the crew. I can't say enough good things about Karl, who even remembered which box had an item we were looking for - a month after he packed it!! Honestly, I was concerned for breakage, and was pleasantly surprised at the care they took throughout the entire process of packing, moving, storing and delivering our possessions. 5 Stars for this company that not only does a great job, but also supports our veterans. read more

The great experience first started with Cesar's estimate during which we could tell he's super experienced and been in this business for a long time. Compared to other estimates we received, Cesar did an amazing job in explaining things to us aside from being super responsive in terms of receiving the actual estimate. During moving day things went very smooth as the team was carefully loading & unloading our items. I've used movers before and this team seemed to move at a quicker pace than other company's i've hired while also being more careful/respectful of our items. Additional note: It was nice to have the guy who came out for the estimate, Cesar, check in with us to make sure things we're on schedule. read more

We recently needed to move and found this business on short notice, we called 2 weeks in advance to set up a moving date on a Saturday. They sent someone out to survey our place to get an estimate of how many people and the size of the moving truck that will be needed. The day the came to our house to pack up our stuff was a great experience. Joey, Matthew, Steven, and shout out to their manager Jason for assisting us with the move, have all been wonderful, super respectful, and professional. If you want to save yourself money and some peace of mind - I would stay away from this company. I normally don't do a lot of negative reviews but this one demanded it. I'm sure Javid or someone else will play this down but too many examples just during one single move to lay it out here. Everything from the wrong estimates, to sending the wrong size truck which means they left behind things to furniture showing up damaged to glasses broken to breaking the furniture even during the loading, etc. Do yourselves a favor and don't get sucked into the veterans things because unfortunately that's how I got sucked into it and it's sad that they use that as a marketing thing and come nowhere close to maintaining that reputation (my family/friends are veterans too so it makes me even more sad) Stay away and do yourselves a favor! read more

I am reluctant to leave this negative review about this moving company because I used them myself and recommended them to others with no problems. But this time was different, and I have an obligation to protect the public from the lies and deceit that so pervasively overshadowed this move. Their lies are huge starting with their claim that they are Veterans which they are not! Their thing is to fraudulently underestimate the cost of packing and moving and not to reveal the actual cost until the last minute when it is too late to get someone else. Not only that but after they arrive at the destination, they demand to be paid in cash before they will unload the truck. No checks. (The only reason for this is to cheat the IRS.). Their estimates were close to 50% lower than the actual charges and the customer was told they had more boxes than estimated. $2,000 more! DO NOT USE ATTENTION TO DETAIL. There are plenty of reputable moving companies out there. This one is disreputable. They are not a military inspired company. None of the movers for this move were veterans. They insisted on cash no cards. They walked through the house and saw what was there. They didn't rely on customer. But once the truck was loaded and all boxes loaded, why did they wait until delivery to inform the customer of an additional $2,000. This was outrageous. And demanded it be paid in cash. No cards. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! I am usually not one to leave negative reviews - but honestly if I can save anyone from the horrible experience of using this company I feel like its my duty. We recently hired attention to details movers for full service movie (Packing and moving) and I couldn't regret that decision more. They were by far the most unprofessional moving company I have ever dealt with. They have added so much stress and extra work for our move and made the past few days miserable. On the day of the packing they arrived an hour late saying that they had to go back since they forgot some of the boxes and materials. Turns out that even with going back to get what they " forgot" they still didn't bring nearly enough boxes and left so much of our things unpacked. (There shouldn't have been room for error since someone from the company came to check the house content prior to give us a quote) They said they will pack the rest tomorrow on the the of the move and I didn't think much of it. Half way through them loading the boxes onto the truck I realized they have NOT LABELED any box! I approached the guy that seemed to be in charged and asked him about that. His response was that they know where they placed everything on the truck so they do not need to label. He then did start labeling the last 5 or so boxes (our of about 30-40 boxes) Once they were done loading I realized that some stuff were left behind unpacked. Later when I came back to the house I realized it was actually much more then I thought since I discovered full drawers/ closets that were completely untouched!! They left most of the breakable items like vases & picture frames behind unpacked. They also left speakers , PS4 and other electronics unpacked. Some of the items were just untouched but some was shoved and thrown to the corner of the room (for example our $700 vacuum robot that was nicely connected to the wall beforehand was found in a pile of wrapping supplies, shoes, and stuff they took out of the pantry all shoved together) My husband had to take 5 car full trips back and forth to fit all that was left behind. We hired full service movers since we are in the midst of a really busy season in our life. No part of me imagined that we would have to spend hours upon hours unpacking and driving back and forth to the old place. I wish I could say that that's the worst part. The worst part was when I started unpacking the boxes and realizing they just placed them in random places around the house (since they forgot to label them) due to a medical condition I am unable to lift anything over 5 pound. Which was a huge reason of hiring a full service to begin with! I hoped it will make my job easier. Instead my husband had to take two full days off work just to move boxes to the correct rooms so I can unpack. Sounds horrible already? Well I am not done. I wish that was it. As I was unpacking I was so horrified to see just HOW they packed my stuff. Every box looked like someone dumped a bunch of items that are about to be thrown in the garbage. So many things were just crammed together randomly, mixed from different rooms. Things that were on the floor in the garage were put with items from baby's room. Clean clothes from the closets were put in the same box with dirty shoes. Paper, letters, shoes and such were placed with clean dishes... So many things damaged because they were just thrown in a boxed and had things dumped on them. I now have to re wash every clothing item and every dish which would take days. When I called the morning after the move I was told by someone in the office he will be sending me an email to start a communication thread so I can send some photos/ videos. He never did. My husband then called again and we received a number to text to/ We sent pictures and videos, which we did. We did not get any response and we have called several times since. They of course stopped taking our calls after the videos/ pictures were sent. They call themself " attention to detail" I find that ironic since there was absolutely no attention to any detail. We will be taking this to the next step which is filing a claim with The Bureau of Household Goods and Services as well as take them to small claims court for compensation for all the hours wasted to fix the damage they have done. He promised us plenty of wardrobe boxes only to have his movers show up with none. He even tried to reschedule our moving time the evening before our move, which created even more unnecessary stress.
