We had Attic Solutions come out between July and August of 2015 after we suddenly found out we had several bats in our attic. Twice we had a bat in our home and we could not figure out how they were getting in - at first (around summer 2014) we thought one had come thru the front door when one of us opened it, but when we saw a dead bat on our deck and then had a second bat in our front room (July 2015) about a year later, we knew the problem must be larger than bats just coincidentally 'coming in through a front door'. We called Ryan (I believe he is one of the owners) who came out within a few days and inspected our attic. Low and behold, there were several bats in there - not a large problem, but one is too many. Ryan and us looked around up there and noticed several small openings via the roof and attic that bats were coming too and from, and this had obviously been going on several years. We assumed they were then coming into our house via an attic fan that we sometimes use in the spring and summer months. We appreciated how Ryan actually took us up in the attic with him and with a hands-on approach, showed us everything. He also took tons of photographs so there really was no wiggle-room to be overcharged for a problem that wasn't there. Ryan and Robert (3 total visits) came out and installed several 'exit shoots' for the bats, and sealed up all of the openings that the bats had been coming in. Due to the time of year (later summer), we simply closed off the attic fan for the season so we shall see what this spring and summer brings. Ryan theorized though that the remaining few bats would have eventually exited the shoots (unless they wanted to starve to death) and would be unable to return because the shoots are exit-only. We would highly recommend this place. Friendly people (Ryan was very funny, also) and thorough, with fair pricing. You DO NOT want to take any chances with bats if you may have an issue with them - they can enter an attic with even the smallest of holes. read more

Don't waste your time once they get your money they don't know you anymore I've sent emails made phone calls for them to come back out because the problem was not resolved and all they tell you is yeah we're coming out and two three days go by still never hear nothing from them then I have to call again same story over and over read more

I was doing a routine inspection of my garage attic when I came face to face with a bat. Took a moment to process what I was seeing & then got out of there as fast as possible. Didn't know what to do but I called a pest control company I'd used in the past & they referred me to Robert at Attic Solutions. I was lucky that Robert was already in our area and available. He came, captured the bat, and sealed the entry area. Maybe 2 hours from finding bat to saying so long to the bat. Robert is fast, efficient, and informative. Hope, as I told him, I never need his services again....BUT I can highly recommend Robert should others need his services. Also want to say Attic Solutions website is very informative on the types of wildlife one might encounter in and around your home. A bat got into our condo late on a Friday night (naturally). Of course animal control in the town and county are closed until Monday and the people offering help had insane hourly rates (and of course flat out ask for tips, too...seriously I've dealt with that before) to take care of the problem. The good news is not here. There is a very reasonable flat fee to capture it. He had it caught within 15 minutes of arrival and contained so all I had to do was bring animal welfare the bat to be tested for rabies, who will then release it if not rabid. The bats in this area are insane and most places have waiting for hours to days before they can come out. Attic Solutions was willing to come out immediately (late night) or first thing in the morning for a cheaper cost. We chose morning and he helped get the source of the bat secured and made recommendations for the condo association to do a roof inspection of the chimney. Overall fast, reasonably priced, very nice and professional, helpful in the process of what to do in the panic of it all, and obviously very efficient. Highly recommended!!!! read more

2 days before we were hosting a huge grad party we realized something had died under the shed in our yard. I called Attic Solutions that morning and Robert was at our house by 11. He removed 2 dead baby raccoons. I was relieved that the party could go on. However as the day progressed we realized that there were more under the shed and he came back the next morning, charging us NO extra money, and removed the rest of the litter and their dead mother:(, by cutting a hole in the shed floor. I can't thank Attic Solutions enough for their prompt service in dealing with a horrible problem. The party was a success and there was no more smell and no more bugs! Fantastic Service!! Attic solutions came out last summer to remove some birds nests from our soffits. After removal, they told us they would seal all of the cracks where the birds were entering. They charged us over $800, and left one entire side of the house without sealant. This summer, we have the same issue again. When I called, the manager was rude, suggesting that this was probably something that the contractor didn't complete. The house was built in 2003. When I reminded him that he indicated that all cracks would be sealed (because what the builder did 14 years ago is irrelevant at this point), he said that the sealant probably wore off from the weather. This is nearly impossible because the rest of the sealed areas are completely intact. He then said he would send someone out to "take a look" and we have not heard from them since. Huge waste of money. Dishonest and rude. This business is a scam. read more

Attic Solutions- more specifically- Robert came to our rescue after we discovered a horrible smell in our not yet moved into Home in Huntley. We called 3 other local pest control companies who each said they did not handle dead animal removal. I called Attic Solutions and they immediately responded and dispatched Robert to the rescue. He discovered a horrible dead bird infestation in the outside vents leading to the bathrooms and laundry room. He immediately cleaned out the vents and placed caps on the vents to prevent further bird entry. He then also gave us specific instructions as to the type of further work needed to repair interior damage. We found Robert to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We would recommend Robert and Attic Solutions to anyone with an animal infestation problem. read more
