I called my condo building's vendor for pest control--they said they were not available until the next week AND would only lay bait traps in my house, not try to find the source of the problem. I asked one of my friends for a pest control referral and they too weren't able to come out for a week. After searching online, I decided to call Diamond. They were able to come the very next morning (a Sunday) and I asked that they come as early as possible. Brian arrived on time at 8:30am and took the time to investigate the problem by moving my appliances to find the source of the problem. The culprit: a hole around our oven's gas line providing access to our kitchen and ultimately, to the pantry. Brian sealed it immediately (as well as patched some other potential problem areas) and the price was extremely reasonable. Its been months and we haven't had a problem since. We appreciated Brian's work so much, he will now become our entire building's pest control vendor (we fired those other guys).

They still claim it wasn't necessarily their fault but that they were going through a staffing problem and we may have been one of the customers that was caught up in it.. If you have squirrels, contact a wildlife professional not a pest control company even if they claim to have someone who "specializes" in squirrel removal...

I did some research and tried to get rid of them myself but it turned into a much larger project than expected. I called and asked for a ballpark quote over there Phone which they said they couldn't provide without seeing the area in question, but trust offered to put me on hold and checked back in a few minutes later to offer someone to come out within the next couple of hours. Not only did our tech Nick walk up to the door on time(!) But he also me know that we also had these bees in my mailbox post and he did a thorough check of all of the wood on my property, and found bees and homes in other areas of the playset I had missed the first time around. He was extraordinarily knowledgeable and took the time to listen and answer all of my questions and give me more info on how to prevent the bees from returning again. (Apparently carpenter bees are notorious for coming back again and again and again if you don't plug the holes too). I felt the pricing was fair and better than some of the other over the phone quotes I received. I really felt some of the other companies heard the words "children, playset & bees" and hair tried to take advantage of me/$$. I can't say enough great things about this company and Our Tech Nick in particular. I've already referred a few friends to them as well in the week that has passed bee-free.
