Cozy Creations Shoppe - Ice cream in the gift shop

What a neat little place!! Stopped in for some ice cream, and was met with more treats than that!…read more First off, there is a decent sized parking lot and some outdoor tables under a tent. Inside, there's the ice cream counter of course, but there's also a small gift shop selling local handmade goods. There's also some customization options. I bought a decorative piece for my mom while I was there and she really liked it! The ice cream counter is small and staffed by one person. They had different shake and sundae options to choose from as well as scoops. I got a small size but there was a lot of ice cream. It's provided by Bliss in Attleboro and while mine was a bit freezer burnt, I still enjoyed it. We ate our ice cream at some indoor picnic tables they had in a room downstairs off to the side of the shop. They had a TV playing "The Croods" main title on repeat. It was also windy and some tarp outside kept hitting the roof. The woman working was very kind to us. We were ordering a couple ice creams to go, and she offered to scoop them and hold onto them in the freezer while my brother and I ate ours there and then went outside to see the animals! That's right, animals!! They have a goat named Billy, a pig named Peter Porker, and a whole slew of chickens. You can buy feed for $1 and feed the chickens!! They were all so cute, it was definitely my favorite part of the visit!

Staff is very friendly. Ice cream? Yeah its cold. Yummy yummers. My dog loves all of the chickens…read more Appreciate the free exercise for him! LOL

Three days before his party the Gods smiled upon us. A store opened nearby called..."King Tut". Apparently the name, "Egyptian Gifts For That Kid That Is Really Into Egypt" was already taken. The owner Ashraf gave us an enthusiastic tour of the store, pointing out a variety of things and explaining each in detail. Hand-beaded Egyptian cotton dresses. Beaded headdresses. Custom earrings. Beautiful perfume bottles. Handbags. When we explained the purpose of our visit, he honed in on specifics. He had t-shirts. He had pyramids. He had hookahs - no, scratch that. He had statues of various Gods and Goddesses. Nothing seemed just right. And then came the offer. "I can make him a Khartouche on papyrus. Just give me his name." The birthday boy's name written in hieroglyphs on papyrus, suitable for framing! Hmm. It was too good to be true! This wasn't just a birthday present; it was a soon-to-be treasured possession. It was perfect! We gave Ashraf the boy's name and agreed to pick up the Khartouche that evening. When our young friend opened his gift he was speechless. He knew immediately what it was and what it said. He just held it carefully in his hands and stared. I'm sure it has taken residence in a place of esteem in an 8 year-old's room. BTW-they also do custom jewelry and jewelry repairs. Ashraf and his staff are knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Welcome to Mansfield, success to you!

I have ordered online from Hallmark and shipped to home or picked up orders there, so I assumed that Hallmark and the Paper Store are one and the same. Not the case. Today, I picked up an order but upon opening immediately in the car, I found that one product was loose in the box and broken in 3 pieces. One other item was missing altogether. Two items were in good order, just poorly boxed which is unusual for Hallmark but it is their busy season. I had the pre-paid order detail and after going back and forth with Paper Store Manager and Hallmark Manager (on-site), i was told they couldn't help me with a refund or exchange because they aren't Hallmark. I had no idea. It was not a good customer service experience but I've never had a problem there before, just the opposite. The one time I did I was basically told we can't help you and there's nothing we can do. You have to deal with Hallmark even though they carry the same products in the store. I was told I could purchase them from them though but not an exchange. Just want to share if you pick up an order there and you have a problem they can't help with it. It's just a pickup place. Thank you.
