Chris from Always Towing & Recovery dropped my car off in my front driveway, blocking other…read morevehicles from passing. Before he unhooked it, I asked him to leave it on the side of the house. Chris told me the car was drivable. I explained that it wasn't because it needed a radiator, which was the reason it was being towed in the first place. He then drove my car to the side of the house but didn't tell me where he left the key. I had to ask him for its location, and he then stormed off. Horrible customer service! I will also be sharing my experience with State Farm. This is not how customers should be treated. If you're having a bad day, take the day off don't take it out on the customer.

I needed some work done on the side of my car where I was t-boned. I was paying completely out of…read morepocket. No insurance. I searched a little bit and found Matt at Certified Auto Body. Drove and saw him for a free estimate which he got to me that evening. I asked him when I was at his shop doing the estimate about how long he thought it would take. He said a week or less. I told him I wanted to be in San Antonio on the following Wednesday. He informed me he would have space for me the next day, Thursday. I checked the estimate and brought the car back to him on Thursday after work. Matt was waiting for me. He was communicative, prompt, affable, funny and smart. I could tell from the minute I started talking with him I liked him. On his day off, Sunday, he called me and told me that he thought he could definitely make that happen and he did. Mind you he just had a baby girl so sleep was abviously an issue. He delivered and he delivered more than what he assured me that he would do and promised that he would do. The work that I received coupled with the transparency and honesty that he gave me regarding what I thought was possibly a bent axle or hub which was actually only a control arm which he diagnosed replaced and fixed when he could have told me it was more. Fixing the wheel and then color matching my very detailed Pearl paint. Wow! When I was picking up my car, I walked into his office and told him it looked better than when I bought it. Matt told me he does things like he would do them for himself. I'm the same way and respected the hell out of that. I went to fill up my car and realized he had not cut any corners when I noticed the inside of my fuel well door had been painted with the same care as the visible parts. They are no longer mobile and have had the brick and mortar location for one year since the Austin hailstorm. I was referred to Charlie by the manager at Whitakers. Charlie or his crew used to travel to Whitakers to repair car dings. I had my car ding repaired at Whitakers by Charlie or his crew member six years ago for $200. They no longer travel to Whitakers so now Whitakers refers directly to their Cedar Park location. I made an appointment and was in and out in 45 minutes. The cost of the car ding depends on the location. My ding was located high on the driver's bend so they didn't have to open the door and were able to access it through the window. Charlie only charged me $150 for one ding. But with his contrasting light, he saw an additional two mini dings so he fixed them for free! I'm so happy that my driver's car door looks new!
