Over a year ago, I had my car battery replaced at this shop. Recently, the battery went bad, but I couldn't find my receipt or any warranty paperwork. Very nice guy but did me pretty dirty and was quite dishonest. Came in for a simple A/C Recharge and A/C diagnosis, prior to coming in I confirm with Chevrolet that my car takes 14oz of freon, Miguel tells me he puts in 18oz if freon. Miguel's negligence over pressurized the system with freon and destroys my A/C compressor. Then when I tell him that they overcharged the freon he says I have to pay $1800 to replace the entire A/C system. He and I both know what happened is unfair to me, but it's just not worth my time to take him to court over it. I would appreciate a refund and he take the loss and not make his customers pay for his mistakes. But i'll just leave this review up here instead, do not take your car to these guys for any reaI diagnostic work, Miguel I knew you destroyed my compressor and you still charged me to pay for your mistake. Even after replacing everything A/C related the vehicle was still malfunctioning with the original problem I came in for, he tells me it needs to be taken to Chevrolet for programming and turns out all I needed was a body control module replaced. Turns out my A/C was fine all along and instead of properly diagnosing the car he took my wallet for a joy ride with this shops costly inaccurate diagnostics. A true hidden gem - Very impressed with the service I received from Professional Automotive. Was in need of new starter, and they quoted me the best price of all the shops I contacted. My car was ready and waiting by the end of the next day. Miguel was upfront about pricing, which I very much appreciated. This place is probably not the most professional place around but had to be the most honest repair shop i had been to - The waiting room area is not clean nor is there anything to do!! I now just drop off my car and picked it up the next day for almost half the price I was quoted from Lamb's Automotive and quicker !! Miguel was very easy to work with and got my body work done cheaper and faster than the other 4 places I got estimates from. They did a nice job, even threw in some extras. I went back for some service work and they did that at a fair price as well. My truck has a lot of miles on it and I need it to last, so If I need anything done again I will go back to them. I have gotten ripped off by other places on brakes etc. so it is nice there are still some honest mechanics out there. read more

I had to have some body repair done as a result of a collision. These guys were courteous, and fair. They arranged to have someone take me home after dropping off my vehicle, worked with me to keep costs down while still making my vehicle look like new. They handled everything with the insurance company and worked with me on the deductible. Not only that but communication was great and they had the work done in a little less than the time they estimated. Hopefully I won't need services like this in the future but if I do I will definitely return. read more

They were patient while the insurance companies figured out the claim and let me leave my car there before we were able to start work. They did a great job repairing my car! Although, the environment was friendly and the prices were somewhat less, in the long run I did not benefit from the services. The services and work performed was okay;however the services that the car went in for was not repaired and replacing a thermothat does not fix a car with a cracked head. Paying 1800.00 for some body work and maintenance work does not add up especially when you drive a car less than five miles and it start to overheat. Now if you just get a car out of the shop,why would it even attempt to run hot if it is repaired?????Seems like to me,it must not have been repaired properly if it is doing the same thing that it was doing when it went in. If it was properly test driven, it would have been known that this car is running hot. Ok, so the car is running hot because it needs a fuel ejector.Fuel ejector is put on and it still is running hot and leaking around the radiator cap. Oh,I take it to firestone and they tell me I have leaks and need to get a radiator. I dont believe them because I trust Migueal down at professional automotive because he said I dont have a leak. I go to several places to confirm I have a leak in the radiator one being Miguel.. Well we agree on that so I have a new radiator put on the car, radiator pump and a fan and it is still running hot. At his point,I go back to Miguel and then he tells me it is a cracked head. Would not a pressure test of the head reveal this information in the beginning? Now I HAVE A CAR THAT I PAID OVER 2000.00 IN REPAIRS NOT WORKING AND I AM BLAMED FOR IT NOT WORKING.????????????/ read more
