There are elaborate things one can do to drive the price up (gold leaf, anyone?), but we were wholly satisfied with the basic offering. And at that pricing, why would anyone accept the restaurant alternative of display cake + sheet cake? A heads up - for the smaller (two tier) cake you can and should handle the delivery to the restaurant / reception hall.

There is a self area on the left side of the store where there are utensils and the handles of the knives were HOT when I went to get one so you can definitely rest assured that these are cleaned frequently (but do be careful). There is complementary lemon infused water and the disposal area near the restrooms. Noise level wise-- it is not a super big cafe and tables are seated close to each other and it can get loud when the coffee machine does its thing but overall I would say it's a pretty good location to have a little with a friend.
