This bakery is underrated, they make the best raspberry jam cookies. The girl and boy who work there look identical but aren't related and are really sweet. They keep bread baking throughout the day, enveloping the area with a cloud of aroma.

Came here for the first time today and was very impressed. I initially came in for cupcakes for myself but wanted to try other things if they looked appealing. I was greeted once I came In by a very nice young woman who was super helpful as a first timer. She was gracious and happy to help me, such a true rarity in Boston these days. I liked the cupcakes, but I actually think the homemade Oreo cookie and the banana bread were the strength for me. Lovely! I wish I got more banana bread when I was there!!!!

Delicious, homey baked treats. Food I've tried: - WALNUT CURRANT SCONE ($2.95): very nice and crumbly scone - simple, yet delicious. - BUTTERMILK BISCUIT ($4.50): this is a crumbly biscuit, with a bit more springiness in the dough than the scone. Initially I thought that the dough was a tad too salty, but the more I ate, the more the salt paired well with the butter. - For the price, both pastries were generously portioned, especially the scone. They have rotating scone flavors throughout the week. I was also sad to find that at times my two favorite pastries (scones and biscuits) were sold out by the end of the day when I visited. Atmosphere: - Small amount of seating inside, around 3 tables. It is definitely a take out place rather than a dine in location. Decor is very homey. Service: - The staff are friendly. Overall: - Great bakery, with delicious bread for a reasonable price.

    Butter horn danish

A fairly small store in Roslindale Village that honestly wasn't impressive. I came here on a weekday morning to check out their bread and pastries. I wanted to get a croissant, but they all looked pretty burnt. Instead, I opted for a butter horn danish and 2 1lb white batards. They have a $10 credit card minimum, so keep that in mind. The danish wasn't super flakey, but it was pretty sweet with the sugar and icing on top. One of the batards I got had a burnt end. You can get them presliced or unsliced, I chose unsliced to try to keep the bread fresher. They just stick your items in a brown paper bag. The batard was a semi-hard, chewy loaf that would be great toasted. Maybe it was an off day for them, so I guess I'll have to try out something different if I go back next time.

Wide variety of breads and baked goodies! Got an iced tea, wish they had a sweetened version, but would recommend otherwise!

The complex that Ula is in is super cute, there is typically plenty of parking. It's also right on the orange line, so there is easy access. Ample indoor and outdoor seating made getting a table a breeze. We ordered an iced coffee, iced latte, vegan burrito, and an Amort St sandwich. The Amory was really yummy, my partner enjoyed it. The coffees were pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing to write home about. The flavor in the latte was pretty weak. I added caramel to it as well, but it just tasted like milk; it's nice if the espresso taste or caramel flavor shines through, but it didn't deliver here. Fiore's and Third Cliff are still my go-to's for a good latte. While we waited for the burrito to come out, the chef came and told us he didn't have the necessary ingredients. He offered great replacements and made recommendations. He was super kind and honestly made our experience much better. Give that person a raise! Overall, good experience! Food was really good. Ambience and service were good. Coffee not great. Definitely worth a stop-in!

Ordering was at the counter and the person was so friendly and patient with our questions. We initially only ordered the chicken shawarma and moussaka and Dubai chocolate cup (no matter what, this is what I needed!). As we ate, we realized the food was good and we'd like to try other items. So we got a mulberry juice and a flatbread - 1/2 zaatar and 1/2 cheese. Everything was tasty. Some specific points: the chicken shawarma is more like a kebab than the shaved chicken I'm used to, it would be nice if they offered both. The zaatar can be a little tart and that's where the cheese balances it out. The mulberry juice is sweeeeet but great for a hot summer day. The moussaka came out cold which I was a little surprised by. The Dubai chocolate was fantastic, the only downside is that it's tiny haha. I could've eaten one more. It's an airy bright place and they also have seating outside. Parking is convenient. I'm sure we'll be back.

Which was a plus. We were seated right away. Nice table with a very pleasant but absent minded server. It's small plates and now pizza. We ordered the brussel sprouts, ceviche, wild ramps, wagyu beef , salad, mushroom pizza and dessert. We each ordered a drink. For hits -- brussel sprouts were a bit, good crunch and sweetness. The salad had a great crunch and was well prepared. Mushroom pizza was maybe the highlight. As good is not better than Posto. Very well executed. The best of the best was the donut. Amazing donut! For misses -- the ceviche we could not find the fish and it was over powered by the seasonings. The ramps again all we could taste was the cilantro. Wagyu beef - my friend is a huge fan of it. She found it chewy and oddly paired with grits? Other notes -- this place was so loud that we could not hear each other, almost at a night club level. Unpleasant. Service was very inconsistent and I'd offer not up to their standards. Last the price we spent $240 for two people. Between the ambiance and the food misses, I think this is a hard pass going forward. Pizza was amazing.
