Cute little place across the street from the courthouse. Got the chicken katsu lunch box. Will be back to try more.

Eggs and Thai is a really cute restaurant. It's turned into a regular part of my husband's lunch rotation since we rediscovered it. He likes that he can get a really spicy tasty dish here. He loves this place. The food is really tasty and a good size for the money. I do not get the spicy dishes, and was pleased that I could get a dish that wasn't spicy! Last time we were there they were projecting animal videos on the other side of the restaurant which was pretty fun. Ok, now for some important stuff. If you have any type of mobility issue, you should go elsewhere. it is on a bottom floor and you cannot get into the dining area without going down any stairs. (Though you could still manage to probably pick up your take out). The bathrooms are not handicap friendly. They are very, very small. But if you are able bodied and like Thai food - a solid choice.

The eggs and Thai wings were very good , fresh, nice skin, . The 49 Pad See Kew noodles dish luncheon special with chicken was excellent, flavors for the noodles were addictive. Nice friendly staff and the noodles dishes , Pad Thai always freshly cooked with fresh vegetables.

Spicy Pad Thai Dinner (flavorful, bit spicy)

Ordered takeout, good flavorful food. Prompt pickup and on time. The vegetable rolls although nice, would have been better if accompanied by a more falvorful/spicy sauce. Red curry felt a bit mild. Pineapple rice and spicy Pad Thai were good. Plenty of street parking available.

Pad See Ew Dinner with crispy chicken

A great local restaurant in Dedham. The service was very fast and the waiter was super attentive. It's a small restaurant but there was enough seating for us on a Friday night. They have the sampler plate with 5 different items to try when you can't decide what to get. It was great to share with my party. My favorite was the crab rangoon. I got the pad see ew with crispy chicken which was a rec the waiter made. It was delicious with the sauce of the noddle. The crispy chicken had a perfect contrast with the softness of the noodles. Overall, I had a great time and would love to come again.

Lunch Pad Thai

We were in the Dedham area and decided to try something local and stumbled across this cute little gem. The Eggs & Thai Wings were a combination of spicy, sour and crispy goodness! There was definitely a good amount of spice but the mixed salad and lime was a good balance. My Thai iced tea definitely helped as well. We ordered Pad Thai and the Chicken Krapow and those were just as good. Service was great, very attentive and timely.

Waitress not knowing what is on the menu

When my friend and I got there this afternoon, we were the only table at least for an hour. But the waitress still managed to serve me the wrong dish! I can't eat hot and spicy food, I had ordered spring rolls and number 81.eggplant basil ( under stir-fried vegetables). Not only I ordered verbally, I also pointed on the menu. A couple of minutes later, the waitress returned from the kitchen saying that dish comes with meat and asked what I wanted. I told her I just wanted stir fried eggplant basil, but she was adamant about the meat, so I added beef. As it is shown in the photo, there are NO red hot pepper warning signs next to eggplant basil stir fried. When the food was served, I was busy chatting with my friend, therefore I didn't noticed the cut up jalapeños. That dish was on fire, giving me a terrible heartburn instantly. When I tried to explain to the waitress what I ordered, she insisted I had ordered the spicy pad thai ( there were no noodles in the dish they served me!). After arguing with us back and forth, she took the dish back to the kitchen, then got back saying " sorry about that" and she asked me with an attitude " So what do you want?" By that time, I had explained myself at least three times. I am not the kind of person who loses her patience with wait staff, but I was having a hard time containing myself, so I took a big breath and I said " we are back to square one, just get me stir fry eggplant basil, no beef, no hot peppers" 10 minutes later, I finally got what I asked about half an hour ago, minus the basil ( except 1 small leaf). I was very hungry, so I ignored that. She returned a little later to ask if everything was ok, then proceeded to tell me that next time I should tell them " no spicy"! So it was all my fault! That did it for me! That waitress had no language barrier, she just didn't know what was on the menu, didn't pay attention to what the customer was ordering. What happened to good customer service? Not blaming the customer? Trying to make it right by offering something small for free? Or not charging for the iced tea instead of charging extra for the beef I didn't add to my second stir fry? What was even worse about this place was the owner witnessing all this from far ( I thought she was another waitress) and not getting involved to make things right for the customer. Not going back to this restaurant again! They don't deserve my business.

Crazy udon noodles with chicken

Delicious food and decent-sized portions. Excellent service. They always make us feel welcomed.

Loved it here! Such a cute unassuming place near downtown Dedham. So many menu options. We had the roti bread appetizer and shumai which were both delicious. The bread was crispy and chewy like a scallion pancake and came with a delicious chicken curry on the side. I ordered the beef ball noodle soup which kind of resembled pho. Delicious and huge portions for every dish. My friend wanted khao soi which she found under a different name on the menu. I believe it was called curry noodle soup. Service was prompt and not overbearing. Thai iced tea was delicious. I would certainly come back again.

Spicy basil noodle lunch with duck

A cute unassuming restaurant! Didn't know this was so close to my work place, will definitely come here again. There's a difference between their lunch and their dinner portions, and if you're wanting a larger portion, they advise you to go for the dinner portions. Spicy basil noodle lunch with duck (8/10): so good! I loved the flavor, and I also bought the lunch size, and in my opinion, it was pretty large. I was expecting flat rice noodles, but these come with the skinny kind. I ordered duck with it, but it didn't come with much, but I'm not sure if that's attributed to the portion size. I would probably order it spicier if possible the next time I come; it has a nice kick but it's not for someone who craves hot food. Thai iced coffee (10/10): so delicious and creamy! The mug was unassumingly small looking, but I was able to take it to-go and have it for the rest of the day at work! I love how pretty the restaurant is. It is definitely a family restaurant, and I love that! It was so cozy when I came in on the rainy day I did. I will be taking my work team here again.

The food was good, but the portion sizes were smaller than expected. The salmon dishes, for example, only had 2 ounces of fillet, compared to the usual 8 ounces. In addition, we ordered dumplings for $8.95 and the portion was only 2 dumplings. I would say the prices were a much higher than other Thai restaurants. Our waiter took care of our order accurately, though we did notice our water glasses weren't refilled during the meal. On a positive note, the fresh flowers throughout the restaurant a nice touch.

The inside is very cozy and cute. It would be a really nice place for a casual first date or catching up with a friend. There are scented candles and the bathrooms are compact but very clean and well-kept. The food is standard Thai cuisine but it is presented in an aesthetically pleasing way. It also tastes fresh and it is not greasy at all. Actually it tastes fairly healthy. I am always greeted well by the different staff here. They have nice manners and a positive attitude. Also the surrounding street has unique shops and dance/fitness studios and is charming.

Cute entrance to the best Thai in Dedham!
Jenn S.

Literal hidden gem in Dedham and I say hidden because the entrance is down a long pathway lol but rest assured that's the only sketch factor about this place! Real Authentic Thai food! Yay! Restaurant seemed to be run but a fleet of Thai women and it was refreshing to see. Limited seating due to the world imploding right now, but take out is just as great. This was one is the very few places I've had Thai food that actually tasted like what I had in Thailand. Kept it simple this night but still very filing, delicious and satisfying! Must try their pad Thai, roti that comes with a chicken curry that was packed with chicken, and my kids really enjoyed the apps sampler because it came with a little bit of everything. Will be back when in the area but if you are from the area, please go and support local authentic eateries like them!

We placed an order today for orange chicken and white rice, but after pickup and arriving home we discovered the rice was missing. This is not an isolated incident, as items are frequently omitted from our orders. When my partner called to address the mistake, the initial offer of a simple credit for the rice was inadequate given the inconvenience. I followed up by offering to drive back to the restaurant to pick up the missing item, but this request was refused. Furthermore, I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism during our communication. After I requested to speak with a manager, the staff was reluctant to assist and eventually hung up on me while I was trying to resolve the issue so my partner could enjoy his meal as intended.

Friendly, attentive, and everything came out in a timely way. But when it came to the food, it was just ok for me. I ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The rice had decent flavor, but nothing really stood out. It tasted more like a safe choice than something I would go back for. The shrimp with lobster sauce had a nice portion size, but the sauce felt a little flat. It was missing that rich, layered flavor I was expecting. We also got the Bo Bo Platter to share, which is their appetizer sampler. It came with beef teriyaki, chicken wings, spring rolls, shrimp, and crab rangoons. A little bit of everything. Again, it was just ok. The flavors didn't pop the way I wanted them to. My husband had the Crispy Pad Thai which came with jumbo shrimp, chicken , and egg, stir fried with rice noodles. It had a nice presentation. The standout of the night for me was definitely the Fried Shrimp from the Bo Bo Platter. It was done perfectly. Light, crisp, not weighed down by thick batter. I honestly would have been happy just getting a plate of those. Overall, Bamboo is a beautiful space with solid service, but food wise, it didn't hit for me the way I hoped it would. I might try it again for something different, but this visit was just ok.

Did a lunch visit with a friend, going our own way with lunch combos and adding a couple of full-order appetizers. -- Spareribs on the Bone: St Louis cut ribs with ruby red glaze, just a bit of char, and a clear honey glaze to sweeten things further. Not the meatiest, not the juiciest, and not the most tender, but they got the job done, thanks to the very pleasing flavor. These have the potential to be stellar at night. As sampled, above average to well above average, even with the flaws. -- Egg Rolls: Extra crunchy exterior and a soft, stringy assortment of both cabbage and celery for greenery, accented with pork. Above average. -- Chicken Wing (the included appetizer on a combo): Not dark of skin, but still crispy. A bit dry. Kinda plain, with discernible but light marinade. Average to slightly below average. -- Hot and Sour Soup: Not many mushrooms or other fillers. Mostly thick, weirdly gloppy broth and some scallions. Spice present, flavors good, textures not so good. Balances out to average. -- Szechuan Style Chicken with Peanuts: Other than having the two ingredients listed in the name, it didn't seem like similarly named dishes or kung pao. Pea pods standing in for celery. Chicken was high quality and the flavors were appealing, with spice coming through and a hoisin-equestrian undercurrent adding depth. A little above average even if different. -- General Gao's Chicken: My friend's lunch combo. He said it was heavy on the breading and had one-note sweetness. A mixed bag, but a worthy visit if you need something in the area. Lunch specials at $11.95 have a more than fair amount of food, so a good value. But it's those spareribs that'll bring me back. Attentive service. Parking in back of the building.

Egg roll would have been great fresh fried as ingredients were very good. The small order of ribs were meaty and would have been excellent if fresh cooked rather than a reheat and cold ...they were still very good cold as meaty ... needed more sauce, char as when fresh cooked under broiler . No longer. The last 3 attempts have all been reheats and all looking like a scattering of random bones from different racks, with charring the only strongpoint. Some were close to cold and some were tough to chew. On average: Average, but formerly elite. -- Egg Roll: A rollercoaster of quality on my recent visits. Narrower than before, but reliably celery-filled and crunchy inside. The shell is sometimes crispy, sometimes bendy, as if sitting around a while. Interiors sometimes moist, sometimes very dry. Flavor has been above average every time. Overall, above average to well above average, though formerly near-elite. -- Lobster Sauce: I've liked the relatively new recipe that's less like motor oil and more on the light side with whole black beans in the mix. But the most recent one was bland and watery. Still good enough to be average, but formerly near-elite. -- Sweet and Sour Chicken: Fingers merely flirting with crisp and typically low meat-to-batter ratio. Unusual topping of onions, peppers, pineapples, and no cherries, with a sauce that seemed an exact compromise/blend of the typical golden and red styles. Sour along with the sweet, but subtle. A little above average. -- Pork Fried Rice: Among my 3 recent visits, solid once, disappointing twice. Fresh once and long in the tooth twice, and varying levels of bland all 3 times. Minimal pork nuggetry. Typically lukewarm. Overall, average, but formerly near-elite. -- Orange Beef: Nice mix of sweet and tart (caramelly along with the orange), good crunch, and good quantity and thickness of the tender beef slices. Very solid dish, and it even rivals Bernard's version, which is saying a lot. A rare bright spot among recent visits. Seems like this place is mailing it in lately, as if they're knowingly cutting corners and sacrificing repeat dining business because their real money comes from the bar. It's a shame, because I used to be a big fan.
