They patiently answered all our menu questions. We ordered the fois gras (because when in France), the duck and the octopus. All the food was excellent, the fois gras was perfect (although probably wouldn't order it again for ethical reasons). The octopus was absolutely perfect, very very easy to screw up, but they nailed it; every bit melting in our mouths. The duck breast was perfect, juicy and cooked to perfect. All the dishes were served with plenty of accompaniment. Great meal for a great French experience. Would highly recommend.

A few of us had the menu du jour starting with a wonderful salad with warm chevre toast wrapped in bacon and ginger chicken with a beautiful light sauce. My 2 teenage boys have celiac disease and the chef had no problem adapting the menu to suit their gluten free needs. Both were satisfying and not too heavy. The second courses were the special catch of the day, amberjack and fried calamari. The food here is not imaginative, but sometimes the tried and true preparations are the way to go. I'm a sucker for simple fried calamari when it's done right. It was done right at Luna.
