I researched several photographers' websites, but many of their family photos seemed a little tacky. When I came across Wendy's portfolio, I was impressed by her more artistic and candid style. She uses film, which is extremely rare these days! She agreed to meet us early in the morning, and she suggested a beautiful, secluded beach nearby. It turned out to be the perfect location because we had the entire beach to ourselves. She brought a couple props for the shoot and gave us just the right amount of direction.
