I just received my wedding album from Kinga, and I can't even tell you: it might be the most beautiful thing I have EVER seen. When I was choosing a photographer, a friend of mine had used Kinga and recommended her. Her pictures were fantastic, so I was really thinking about it. I half-heartedly asked my wedding planner to suggest a photographer or two as well, and she sent a list of 6 or 7. Kinga was the first recommendation, I took it as a sign, and went with her. I will NEVER regret that decision, and owe the friend that suggested her a huge favor. My wedding pics are TO DIE FOR and I will never, ever be able to take pictures like THAT again. From amazing sunset pictures to truly beautiful family shots, Kinga's photos are indescribably good. The colors, the people, everything is perfect. And she took so many in such a short amount of time! I can't decide which ones to frame! I think I am going to end up with pictures all the way up my stairs and entry! When the Hubby & I decided on a photographer for our Maui wedding, we already knew who we would use. Kinga had taken photos for a friend a year prior & we were blown away. Her work was absolutely amazing & really captured the day. Prior to our wedding, Kinga was super easy to talk to & answered all my crazy out of town bride questions. She really had a great way of putting me at ease. The day of the wedding Kinga & her wonderful assistant arrived. Kinga was so friendly and professional. She took awesome pictures & really captured some great candid moments. We were able to take all of our pictures & still be on time for the reception even though our ceremony started later than planned. I never felt rushed and she had a great way of making us laugh during the entire process. When we got to our reception, Kinga arranged for me to hop up onto the bar for some crazy shots that turned out so cute! She even stayed to get pictures of the entire reception even though it ran after our scheduled time period. A couple days later we were able to go to Kinga's house & view a slideshow of our pictures; they turned out awesome! She was great at helping us narrow down our choices and later arranged them beautifully in our album. Our album turned out great and I always get it out to share with friends & family. I love hearing their "Ooooh's and Aaaah's" every time. Initially my husband thought Kinga was a bit expensive, but in the end, he was the one wanting to spend even more to upgrade our package...the pictures were that great! So, if you want a photographer that will capture your special day and not make you feel stressed or rushed, then Kinga is for you! read more

Kinga is the most amazing photographer any bride could ever ask for. She is so kind and so talented-she'll make you feel so comfortable and so relaxed that you'll forget she's even there, giving her the ability to capture natural, beautiful moments between you and your partner, family, and friends that will melt your heart! When we found Kinga online, I never thought in a million years could we afford someone as great as her, but her pricing is beyond reasonable!! When I show off the album she put together for us, friends and family always comment on how well-done it is and how it looks like something out of a fairytale. Kinga did the photography for our wedding. Honestly, I have had so many problems with wedding photographers in the past that we were not going to hire one. I am a musician and I do many weddings each year and I have seen the best and the worst of the wedding photographers. Too much flash and bad focus are unfortunately what you can find with most. When I saw Kinga's work, I knew it was extraordinary. I have some background in photography and website design and product shoots so I can speak with some authority on what constitutes great photography. When I saw the samples of her work I could see the care she takes in her craft. Kinga's method of using natural light is the best there is for photography. Nothing looks more realistic and dramatic than a shot in natural available lighting. However, it is the most unpredictable and difficult way to shoot. It demands the highest level of skill of the photographer and requires an incredible amount of finesse and knowledge. Kinga's photos were breath taking. When I saw the proofs I was knocked out by the quality. The exposures were perfect, the focus was sharp and spot on and her command of depth of field brought these pictures to a level of artistry not often seen in this industry. Kinga is also very talented at catching people at the right moment when they look natural. This is a talent that can not be taught. Every shot we saw cast us in the best possible light and we never saw anything that we wished had not found its way into the camera lens. Kinga is also very good at working with her subjects and understands how to get the best out of them. She is easy to work with and makes everyone feel relaxed. Her easygoing attitude and extensive experience allow her to coax the best out of her subjects. A review of her work will show a pattern of her catching people in their best moments. This tends to bring out the magic and surprise of the moment and the people in her shots spring to life. Many people have commented that when they look at the pictures, they feel like they were right there with us. The say that they can feel the joy that we experienced as the event unfolded. Wow!! Just outstanding!! Now having worked with Kinga we can very clearly see why she only receives 5 star ratings for her service and her experience! She was the most amazing fun and easy to work with person. She was early and even helped to determine the wedding location, she had tons of patience working around other family members taking pictures but she helped to keep the flow of photography smooth and on time. I am so happy we chose Kinga Ritchey to do our wedding photography for our November 2011 Maui wedding! Our wedding coordinators, Makena Weddings, gave us a list of photographers they work with and I looked at ALL of their websites. I kept going back to Kinga's photos and thought she captured the beauty of the day and the scenery. She took photos during our beach ceremony and then for almost an hour afterwards until sunset. The photos are breathtaking and beautiful. And Kinga was great to work with- she was energetic and excited to capture a certain look or when she noticed the moon was out in the blue sky! While on vacation in Maui earlier this month, Mike proposed! Since we were visiting one of the most beautiful places on Earth, we decided to skip the stress (and cost) of planning a large wedding back home and arranged a simple elopement ceremony on the beach. The plans were thrown together in only 3 days! We were so incredibly lucky to have Kinga's photography services included in the package provided by a local wedding planner. Mike and I rarely take a decent photo- we're not the most photogenic people, and it was really important to me that we had good photos to share with our family and friends that weren't there to witness in person. I relayed my concerns to the coordinator and he assured me that there was nothing to worry about. Boy, was he right! Kinga immediately made us feel comfortable. She worked around the videographer through the entire ceremony and still managed to capture every special moment. Afterwards, she stayed with us and took tons of posed and candid shots, careful to take full advantage of the beautiful scenery of the beach and surrounding areas. She never made us feel rushed and seemed to genuinely enjoy the entire process. Which was wonderful. She promised to have the edited images available for our review a week later, and delivered right on time. To our sincere delight, the photos were beautiful- we purchased every single image as well as the slideshow she put together- also beautiful. Upon purchasing the images and video, they were made available for download immediately and she shipped DVD copies the very next day. We were excited when Kinga was able to do our family photos on our recent trip to Maui. She had done our wedding photos in 2012 and they were amazing! Kinga is so personable, patient and always makes sure you have the pictures you want! She also has great ideas.
