I've been going to this store for more than 20 years now. Like any relationship over that length of time, there will be bumps, but I've never felt slighted or cheated. I've received excellent advice on all manner of projects from plumbing to painting, electrics, pool maintenance, and more. Eric, the manager, supports the local scouts and is an invested member of the community. I prefer to shop local when I can and Aubuchon in Lee is my first choice. read more

After shopping here for a couple years it's become my favorite hardware store in the area. Like other reviewers have said, the staff is super friendly and pretty knowledgeable. Especially about the Stihl equipment they sell. That they're a Stihl seller/servicer is pretty nice, it's the sort of high end stuff you can't always get at the big box stores. Obviously they can't match those stores in terms of overall selection but what they carry is generally pretty good. It's sometimes tricky to predict which things they'll have and which they don't, either because they're backordered or just not something they carry. You can check their inventory on their website before you make the trip though so it's not a big issue imo. I should also mention that they have an awesome rewards program. I'm not usually a big fan of those things but I'm always surprised how frequently I hit the $5 and $10 off thresholds. I'd say it just about cancels out the cost difference of shopping here vs the big boxes. read more

The staff at this store are great. They know their stuff and are eager to share their knowledge. They have a wide selection of products which makes things very efficient when tackling multiple projects at the same time. Aside from the obvious high-quality customer care, a customer recently backed into my wife's car as she entered the parking area. Needless to say, this was very upsetting for her. Store manager Eric, as well as several other employees, came to her assistance. I will be forever grateful for their kindness and willingness to help. read more

Everyone I've ever had contact with has been very knowledgeable, super helpful, especially for a customer like me who knows very little about home improvement. They always carry the things that we need, including Benjamin Moore paint. The store has saved us countless trips to the big box stores. read more

No one greated on way in. One worker on telephone. The other was petting a Pitbull that someone brought into the store. After walking around for a bit I was finally greeted when my mother came in the door. The employee helped best she could. The people with the dog were in the other aisle and we're being loud and the employees were laughing at them. We didn't buy anything and on the way out I heard one of the cashiers joking and swearing with a customer. In parking lot someone else was letting their dog run free.
