He never said hello for the 10 minutes we walked around, even though he had no customers and wasn't on the phone. Nor did he us ask if we would like to make an appointment for some other day or anything. His demeanor was not welcoming, it looked on the verge of p.o. I asked if we could look, and we were there another 40 minutes and NO ONE ever said hello, looked our direction, or said goodbye or if we had a question of any kind. We are new residents to Morrisville. Needlessly to say, we will not be doing any business with this company. And, we have quite a lengthily amount of things we need to re-do at our new abode. Customer dis-service is more their mantra.

Lacking knowledge is forgivable; Ambivalence to questions and being too busy to take the time to answer them does not reflect well on the business, particularly if it is the owner. The " vibe " at this location is rather unfavorable. I would not recommend this as a friendly, local source of goods. There are other options in the area and I would suggest trying them first.

Willey's also has kitchenware, outdoor clothes / gear, grocery, deli, wine & beer and little bit of everything else too like toys, postcards and souvenirs. They are the largest country store I've seen in VT and Willey's takes up a big chunk of downtown Greensboro. In fact, I only saw one other shop here....so downtown Greensboro is mostly Willey's. They seem to take up 2 very old (100+ years) houses. If you are visiting rural NE K for other destinations, Willey's is a likely stop for local brews, cheeses, gears or sustenance. Parking is free. Real general stores don't seem to exist outside of few states now. Though Willey's is an institution, they are very different from many I've been in VT. Do hope Willey's keeps the charm of rural VT country stores and people continue to visit and keep them in business!

The staff has helped me with the weirdest of questions and always works with me to troubleshoot how to finish the ridiculous DIY projects that I've taken on... The selection of products that they sell always amazes me considering it is a hardware store in a small town, and the prices are honestly comparable to the larger stores. Don't even think about going anywhere else for projects in the Valley.

I have dealt with 3 employees in the last few days and only one of them was slightly pleasant. Each time I've gone in, they tell me how busy they are and my project is not finished. I haven't seen other customers there, just the crew all behind the counter eating lunch. They clearly don't feel the need to give any customer service or even be nice. I walked in today for the third day in a row to pick up items that were being serviced with a list of 4 other items I needed to buy. Because they are so unpleasant, I picked up my service item and will drive 10 miles to another hardware store to buy the other things just on principle. It's a small town, take care of your customers.
