Not only because of their sparkling new modern machines, but the amazing person that helped me through the entire process. His name is Clarence and let me tell you, he was organized, quick, and professional. I didn't know how to pick the right sized machine or even how to operate them. He took the time to show me the ropes and he did it with an enthusiastic smile on his face. I hope the next time I come here that Clarence is still their helping the uninitiated. If I was in a position to hire anyone right now it would be Clarence. He takes customer service to the nth degree. What a work ethic! By the way, I loved the music he curated for people to listen to. Near by is food and other stores. I went in the after noon and it was not busy. There were TVs. The machines were working and so were the dryers. This was my first time trying out a laundry service, due to my dryer dying on me…read more I'm so glad I decided to use this laundry service. Joe, the owner, came to pick up my laundry at my house, free of charge, being that I live in Woodland. I don't know if he charges, if you live out of the area. They charge by the pound, which they weigh at their place of business. Before leaving, Joe, gave me an approximate day of when my laundered clothes would be ready. Joe communicated via text with any questions and/or updates he had for me. I was able to do the same. They had my laundry washed and immaculately folded back to me in two days! Joe, came back to my home to deliver my clothes. They arrived in three securely tied up clear plastic bags. My clean clothes smelled amazing! The total charge was $60, which I felt was a reasonable amount for 30lbs. of clothes. This service was well worth it! Next time I need to have my laundry done, I'll definitely call up Joe at Yolo Laundry. I highly recommend them. Thank you Joe, and staff.

What a genuinely kind and hardworking guy--he truly goes above and beyond! During one of my busiest months (hello, holidays!), I dropped off my laundry with very little notice, and JJ made it work seamlessly. He handled everything with great care, washed and dried it quickly, and folded my clothes so neatly and compactly--it looked professional and saved me so much space. I don't have time to sit and wait at a laundromat, and I don't want to. JJ kept me updated the whole time via text, letting me know exactly when my load would be ready for pickup. Thanks to him, laundry became one less stress during a hectic period. If you're in Woodland and need reliable wash-and-fold service with real personal attention, this is the spot. It's super clean inside and I love they have an air conditioner running especially since I know it gets hot inside. The inside is super clean the washers and dryers are very clean and well maintained. The most important part is the staff is so friendly and helpful. There are plenty of washer and dryers it's different size washers for your convenience. This will be my go to for my linen and rugs. They also offer picked up and delivery service for you laundry as well.

Open and well ventilated with decent music and plenty of places to sit…read more 15 washers 2 Jumbo $12/wash 2 Large $9/wash 4 Regular $6.50/wash 3 Small $5/wash 4 Mini $4/wash 18 Dryers 10 Large 50¢/12 minutes 8 Jumbo 50¢/9 minutes The "mini" washers are the size of a regular house washer, the regular was large enough to fit a queen size comforter and a full size comforter together, the Large was big enough for two king sized comforters, and the Jumbo looks like you could fit an entire dorm room's worth of dirty laundry in there (if you dare). They have a vending machine with washing essentials like soap, bleach, dryer sheets, and even extras like scented beads and laundry sacks for transport. Laundry essentials average $3.50 each and the bags are $15. If you need scent-free products: bring your own like I did. That's the only suggestion I have The music was a nice little mix from Kendrick & SZA to Jelly Roll to Taylor Swift. If that isn't for you, bring some headphones. You get a 10% discount for loading your laundry card with cash but there's also an app advertised (I didn't try it myself so I can't review it). They don't have change machines, their card machine doesn't give change, and they don't accept quarters. I used my phone to get a card and load it (the card costs $1 so factor that in). The restroom had a few "machine not working" stickers on it but other than that this place was perfect. All in all, it was a pleasant washing experience on a Thursday morning. Will definitely return when I have huge items to wash that I can't do at home.
