Customer service. I am handy capped. I have 2 metal rods in my back and 9 screws. I also use a cane. I went to Lincoln Ridge cleaners in Lincoln today to have my comforter cleaned. Because of my handy cap I asked the lady at the counter if she could bring it in for me. She said that is not my job. I couldn't believe it. I left and went to Elm Cleaners and they took my comforter out of the car for me. The lady at the counter was very nice and had no problem getting the comforter out of the car. It's perfect that this place is located in a retirement community because they have zero cares and urgency to clean anything fast than a full week. I've tried multiple times, come in on a Monday you can pick up next Tuesday. I've offered to pay more as a "rush charge" NO. She doesn't care. She's never very friendly, and won't accommodate requests such as starching or creases despite asking and again a willingness to pay more. She literally said her staff is "not smart enough" (which seemed condescending and a tad racist since the Latin ladies heard her) to accommodate starching a women long sleeve shirt as they do mens. The son or husband is nice but is rarely there. It seems reasonable to drop off on Monday for a Friday pickup but not in her world. The last two shirts I picked up weren't even pressed, simply washed, which wasn't what I asked for. They do a good job on mending. read more

Since change in ownership quality of service has been poor. Requested alteration services and was properly fitted and measured beforehand. The result were pants that were still too large with poor stitching and craftsmanship. When confronted about the poor service provided I was told I need to get refitted and pay again to correct the problem. This is completely unacceptable!! I would look elsewhere when seeking alteration services from this business. It's important to note, alterations are not done on site but sent out to a 3rd party!! read more

We have used this cleaner several times since moving to SCLH about 3 months ago. No issues until I took in a pair of Tommy Bahama shorts that had a small oil stain. Picked up the shorts a week later and hung them in the closet. Then, several days after that, I went to try them on and saw that the stain was even larger!! I tried on the damaged shorts, walked around the house, and my wife agreed that they should re-do the cleaning, as the stain was not only not gone, but was worse. Here's the issue: when my wife went to take back the shorts, they accused her of trying to cheat them! They claimed that I had re-worn the shorts and stained then a second time somehow (totally false). They eventually agreed to re-do the cleaning, but not without causing a big scene in front of other customers. We will not be back. read more

I have gone here quite a few times for dry cleaning and alterations. Recently returned to have my daughter's dress hemmed just two inches. My experience was awful. They charged me $40 just to take a pair of scissors to it--something I could've just done myself. The hem was uneven. They are great for dry cleaning but if you need to get something altered or hemmed it's not worth it at all. They literally just cut the bottom of the dress resulting in a crooked, jagged edged hem. If they used a rotary cutter, it's even more poorly done. read more

Worse and down from there. Asked that my expensive hand woven cardigan sweater not be hung on wired hanger. No way Jose, she actually ridiculed me that I didn't know what I was asking. Hanging the garment on wired hanger in my face! When I grabbed it , she went ballistic! Asked for new pairs of slacks to be shortened. Came back long. Asked to have them corrected, I received them back and within a week the came apart. She charged me twice for the shoddy tailoring. One last visit, I asked them to have my shirts folded for travel, Told in a loud voice, we do not do that anymore. Suggested,she was speaking too loud and pointing to my hearing aides. She confessed she had a hearing loss. Any recommendations for a quality tailoring in the area. Any in house? read more

They did a great job with laundering and pressing my husband's shirts and dry cleaning my clothes. Also have used them for simple alterations. They can't have you try it on in the store due to COVID but I showed her where to hem and she did fantastic work. They're located in Lincoln Hills - Sun City and have very good prices! read more

Took my dress shirts in to be laundered. It was my first and last time I will go there. The woman there told me there was no same day service or next day service and that it would take one week to clean. I didn't mind, since I could only make it there on Friday or Saturdays anyways. The claim slip said $2.10 per shirt. When I went to pick up the shirts, she charged $23.88. When I asked why it was so high, she told me the $2.10 on the slip was the wrong price and that it was $3.98 per shirt. She just lost my business for good. For that price I can get better service and better store hours somewhere else. read more

Lincoln Ridge Cleaners! Love this place. Of course the quality of their work and the value is spot on but I really admire their honesty and integrity. I first learned of them from a relative that accidentally left a large amount of cash in the pocket of a garment that they'd dropped off here. The owner, upon finding the cash, called immediately to give the cash back. I've heard from one other customer about a similar event involving an even larger amount. Such honesty. They can do special requests and rush jobs if you ask as well as alterations. On top of all this, they do all their work on site and are a family owned mom and pop, immigrant run business. Lincoln Ridge Cleaners recently handled Mother of the Groom alterations as well as dry cleaning for myself and my husband's wedding attire. We've used them before for alterations and both times have been very pleased. Referred our Daughter in Law not long after for her wedding dress cleaning and preservation. The best dry cleaning and alteration shop I have found near Beale AFB. I have taken all of my dress shirts in to be fitted, an amazing job was done with them. They have also sewn some patches on my Brazilian jiu jitsu gi (a much heavier fabric than normal, and the patches are still holding nicely months later) and I bring my wife's dress uniforms in to be pressed all of the time. As long as my wife is stationed out here, this is the only shop we will be going to! read more
