This has been the only dry cleaners I have used since I moved to Rocklin 10 years ago. I used to really like them. Our last couple experiences have not been great though. Reading the other reviews, I think it is coming down to one specific lady at the counter. I am pretty sure I've been dealing with the same lady the other 1-star reviews are complaining about. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Her customer service skills need improvement. She really is not friendly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The previous owners and workers were so much nicer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seems like their turnaround time was better too. I was surprised that my 3 items were given a 3.5 day turnaround time. My old cleaners in SoCal could turn orders around in 2 days, but might ask if 3 was ok if I wasn't in a rush. Anyway, I happened to be in the area running errands late morning, so I thought I'd pop in to see if by any chance it was ready early. That's fine if it wasn't ready, but she wasn't even going to check! Finally, she " checked " (I think she was faking it), and then said, " No, not ready. " I did return after 2:30PM to get the items and was disappointed that they didn't follow the specific directions I gave them to NOT crease the sleeve patches on the uniform, plus the service blazer looked worse than when we brought it in for cleaning. Lots of lint. And they put it on a skinny wire hanger, not the nice hanger that has a wide insert for service coats. (They put it on the nice hanger the last time we dropped it off for cleaning a couple months ago. Don't know if they have a new worker just learning the ropes?) This last dry cleaning order/ visit left a really bad taste in my mouth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was going to go in to complain in person, but really don't want to deal with that lady again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm going to have to ask around for recommendations for another dry cleaner. I'm over dealing with the lady everyone is speaking about. Receipt says it will be ready "by 2:00 p.m on Monday, April 28". I think the "by 2:00" is confusing since I know they mean after but moving on. I'm on my way home on Monday and it's 1:48p.m so thought I would stop in and see if maybe it's ready to save me a trip later. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I walk in and give my phone number to lady, she looks at me and just says "your pick up is after 2:00p.m on Monday".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I respond "ok, so you're still working on it?, should I wait in my vehicle for 12 mins?" [[HIGHLIGHT]]She gives me a smug look and turns around and in about 5 seconds finds my completed order and in a very unenthusiastic snarky tone says "it's your lucky day".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As she is ringing me up she then reiterates the receipt and how it's states 2:00 pm which then I decided to let her know the receipt actually states "by 2:00pm" so it should actually be done before if we are going by the language.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyways, I guess I'll look elsewhere. This business represents some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a while. First of all, the lady at the front desk didn't even pretend to be friendly when I dropped off my clothes. That was a serious red flag I should've heeded. When I picked up my clothes several days later, I didn't bring my ticket. I didn't think this was a big deal, since this is the twenty-first century and my name and phone number should be in the computer. It wasn't. I spelled out my full name and gave her my cell number no fewer than five times. My frustration growing, I went to my car to retrieve my ticket. When I brought the ticket in, the lady had the nerve to scold me like some disobedient schoolchild for not bringing it in the first place. The story gets better. The name on the ticket wasn't mine, but one "George Su." The lady shrugged her shoulders like she was about to give up searching for my shirts. I started losing my temper and told her that I'm not budging until my work shirts were found. The more time passed and the madder I got, the friendlier the lady got. Funny how that happens, isn't it? After roughly ten minutes, she found my shirts. Honestly, I'd rather have paid an extra $20 than to have to put up with so much shit attitude and inconvenience. Don't go here. I will never return to this place again. I left a dress for hemming. It is lined. Same cut all over the bottom. The guy said like it'll be like $30-40 but he'll try lower. I even chuckled that my dress was only $30. I picked up and then he grabs the dress and go on to pack it. I was hoping to try it on as I wore my sandals going in but then thought otherwise since he's already putting the plastic cover over it. I just thought that's fine, what could go wrong with a simple hem anyway... He brings the dress over to the counter and then says "sorry". I dreaded it was $40 but then he said "it is $56!" I don't know why he'll say sorry but not do anything about it. I just commented Wow! my dress was just $30. Of course I had to pay what's asked if I want my dress back. Very disappointed with how they do business. Had I known it'll cost that much, I would've gotten another dress. I'm still in my car writing this and haven't checked the dress yet. To the owner, if you're reading this right now, practice good customer service and don't play with numbers with customers. Be honest and upfront. Things happen but something simple as a bottom hem should not be priced like a new dress. read more

I will miss Park Drive Cleaners. For 5 years between living in Rocklin and Roseville they were the only cleaners I will drop my things off to. Their service is top notch. Out of all my years coming, I had one issue and they resolved it. Long story short, they accidentally gave one of my dresses to another customers as our dresses were the same color and the pick up #'s were quite similar. They immediately informed me, got in touch with the other customer, and got me my dress back. Definitely a rarity. They provide great customer service, a quick turnaround time (when need be), prices are reasonable, and I know my clothes (and comforter) will be handled with care when I go to Park Drive. I was very disappointed to find the gentleman behind the counter did not wear a mask (or offer to put one on) when I dropped off my item and picked it up days later. I wore a mask both times. It's what we've been asked to do to slow the spread of COVID which is surging in our county, and I want to do my part to protect others. I went in with a rug that had instructions saying it should be dry cleaned, but the man pointed out where it was glued and how it would fall apart if it was dry cleaned. While they were very accommodating to get a Tuesday drop off dry cleaning done by Thursday, the bottom of the gown look to be untouched, and seemed to have even more marks than when I dropped it off. I returned back to show them the bottom of the gown was still dirty (lucky I didn't need it for the weekend), and they said they'd clean and hold it till I return. DO NOT GO TO THIS DRY CLEANERS!!! I tried this business due to Yelp. Upon leaving my winter coat to be cleaned and buttons fixed on a Thursday, I was told it would be ready the following Tuesday. The coat was not ready. They did not even start to work on it. It was cold and raining and I had no coat. I call today Friday to pick it up. I wanted some sort of discount for the inconvenience. They said, "No! No need for discount as the coat was fixed..." DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. They weren't even nice about being late with my coat and stated, "Go ahead and leave a review on Yelp..." And here I am. Good grief. UPDATE: I picked up my coat just after posting this review. When I arrived, I was not charged the $7 alteration fee with a "no hard feelings..." comment. He said they have no control over off-site alterations, when their storefront clearly advertises alterations are done on premises. Even so, when I went in to try & pick up my coat on the promised time, the lady had my coat, held it up for me to see, still with the markers on it where it needed fixing and embarrassingly stated she forgot all about it and hadn't even started and that I could pick it up tomorrow morning. So, to say the least, I was lied to today. The coat looks nice & clean and the buttons feel secure. It's just sad that businesses can't even own up to their mistakes and have to lie. I have been using Park Drive Cleaners for more than 18 years and the owners, John and Mira, always took care of us. Our cleaning was done professionally, the price was reasonable and the clothes were ready on time. The business recently changed hands. The new owners do not care about their customers, only about how much money they can make. I left my clothes on Dec 28, 2018. I knew the holiday was coming up and was not unreasonable about when I would get the clothes back. I checked on Jan 4th (that's when I was told I could pick up my clothes) The clothes were not ready. I didn't get an explanation why, but accepted that and asked when they would be ready. I was told to come back the next day, which was Saturday. There was no apology and the owner didn't even seem to care. I came back the next day, Saturday about 1 p.m. Again, after searching for my clothes, I was told they still were not ready. I asked, again, when they would be ready. The owner said he was pretty sure they would all be done by Monday, but not to come in until he called me later that day to make sure. I never received a call non Monday. I called Park Drive Cleaners on Tuesday and asked about my clothes. The owner's employee, Katie, was very professional and helpful and said they were ready. She did not know why the owner had not called me as promised. When I came to pick up my clothes on Wednesday, I was met by the owner. When I asked why he hadn't called me, he said he must have the wrong phone number. My card is permanently attached to my laundry bag and there were three of them at Park Drive right in front of his face and my card is also in the card holder on his counter. I am a realtor and the previous owners gave me this spot for my card. It was obvious that he made no attempt to contact me and didn't care. Five stars for fantastic service. You can go to a cheaper option and you'll get that: cheaper service and lower quality. Park Drive Cleaners opens at 7 a.m. but are often open before then. Their prices are good; sure it would be great to just pay a couple of bucks but I have never had a problem here. The gentleman even sewed on a button for me while I waited; you can't get that elsewhere. The store itself is in a good location and is always clean. Was provided a quote of $17 for a zipper replacement for a pair of shorts. When I went to pick up the shorts, with claim check in hand showing $17 due, the amount due increased $5 to $22... this is over 25% increase in just one week! Must be under new management. Previous owner had "bit-o-honey", new management says... that's the way it is. When did a written price quote turn into a best guess amount? Been going to Park Drive Cleaners for over 25 years. The cleaners will not honor their original price quote. They WILL NOT have my future business. Keep all your red and white mint candies at the front counter. Too much change in business ethics for me to adapt. Going elsewhere. Bye bye bit-o-honey. Moving forward to honest pricing that is honored and adhered to. Amazing and friendly service. They really go the extra mile for their customers. Items are always very clean, pressed, and just enough start just. Everything is folded and bagged if it is not on a hanger and suit coat arms are stuffed with tissue paper to keep their form. They are on the pricey side, but you pay for what you get. read more
