NOTE: I did not see Dr. Chelsea A. who is also listed as doctor under this business. GOOD - Kathryn - I had one consult/appointment with physician's assistant, Kathryn Lemlow. Kathryn was a delight and I appreciated her warm, kind demeanor and willingness and desire to help me and patients improve their health, medical condition(s), and quality of life. BAD - Locked out of office for 20+ minutes by employee Reily when 37 degrees outside after Reily asked me to arrive 20 minutes early for my 8:45A blood appointment. Later office manager Alex lied about calling my cell phone when call log/transcripts show no calls received from their office. A few hours after I had my blood drawn, I started feeling lightheaded and sick so I sent message to Dr. Heidi and called the office. I did not hear back from Dr. Heidi or anyone at their office after becoming sick until 5 days later. Blood draw results/report office gave me had my gender wrong and missing blood type. Dr. Heidi sent me message apologizing and employee Reily apologized also but the updated blood report was still missing blood type and my patient information; this office never provided such. Blood type I paid for, I never received; Office manager/Alex confirmed that the ABO blood type test cost $10; I already paid this $10 as part of the $697 paid for per Invoice#***96. Employee Reily cancelled 3 of my tests due to having my gender wrong and gave me the wrong prices for such tests; Reily said they put the wrong gender on my chart and she told me Whoops! The front desk staff/office manager Alex cancelled my appointment with Dr. Chelsea and two appointments with Dr. Heidi causing me to wait one month and 3 days until I saw Dr. Heidi. Then office manager Alex and Dr. Heidi lied about cancelling and deleting the 3 appointments in their patient portal but the history/screen shots I saved show the cancelled appointments. Dr. Heidi was 20 minutes late for my appointment and did not answer my verbal or messaged questions; then I was dismissed early and charged 60 minutes for a 42 minute appointment. I received message from Kathryn/PA that indicated Dr. Heidi is never late and had a very difficult patient before me causing my experience. UGLY - Dr. Heidi Hook violates do no harm requirement for doctors/healthcare professionals. Dr. Heidi sent me messages saying she knows why my body/cells are in a constant state of stress, why I became sick after my blood draw at their office, and why I experience severe anemic symptoms and offered follow up appointment to review such with me. But after I inquired about the overcharges and front desk trying to sell me 4 supplements that I was already prescribed/taking, Dr. Heidi refused to help me and do follow up appointment, discriminated against me and because I have medical disabilities, including anxiety, which PA and Dr. Heidi both confirmed, and retaliated against me because I told truth about errors by the office staff. What kind of doctor tells a patient/person that they know what is wrong with the person/patient and why they are experiencing sickness, anxiety, constant stress and then refuses to help the patient/person? What kind of doctor tells a patient/person that they can ask any questions using a patient portal and then reprimands and scolds the patient for asking questions about supplements prescribed, appointments cancelled without reason, and being overcharged? I asked multiple times to move forward/resolve any differences so I could receive the treatment only Dr. Heidi knew I needed. Instead of holding the office staff and office manager accountable for errors made and obtaining resolution(s)/moving forward for the benefit of all, Dr. Heidi chose to cover up the truth, fraud, and harm committed by office manager Alex and front desk staff. There can not be enough good things said about this entire place. From the time that you call into make an appointment you are treated with the upmost care and professionalism. I am a patient of Dr. Hedi and she has changed how I feel my so much that I'm amazed! I am in my middle forties and was suffering from several things that I thought were just a normal part of life. Let me start with the reason I am even giving 2 stars. The clinic is quite nice and front desk ladies Alex and Nicole are helpful and very knowledgeable. I saw Dr. Kemby Delellis and my experience was mediocre at best. Don't get me wrong, she is very very nice, but she lacks the knowledge needed to make people feel better. I saw her after a miscarriage and I knew coming in that I had Adrenal Fatigue. Right from the start I requested that we did saliva test to determine what stage of Adrenal Fatigue I was in. She would not do the test, stating it had to be done on a certain day of my cycle. The problem is that it took two months for me to have a period after the miscarriage. Before this, my thyroid was also tending towards hypothyroid. This was shown to her on blood work from 6 months prior. I wanted her to check my thyroid as well but she would not do it. Instead, she had me do Spectracell lab to check for nutrient deficiencies. I guess that's fine. All she wanted to do was work on issues without doing much testing. She would ask" How is your digestion?". Well, fine I guess. How about you test it? So I went to her for months and kept getting worse and she kept putting me on more and more expensive supplements. She also put me on supplements to stimulate my thyroid without checking it. Then my period came and I said "Can we test the adrenals now?". She said "Oh no, let's s wait until the next cycle'. Are you kidding me? Here I am getting worse and worse. Then she finally agreed to test my thyroid. She said it would take 3 weeks for the results to come back so I scheduled a follow up 3 weeks later. However, she got the results back within a week. My thyroid had turned from hypo to extremely hyper. I had symptoms, palpitations, anxiety, could not sleep. I went to urgent care and they did blood work and told me my thyroid was hyper. When I finally went back to Dr. Kemby, she said "Oh yeah, I've had your results for two weeks". I thought it was inconsiderate and unprofessional of her not to call me and leave me there taking supplements to speed up my thyroid. She just does not get it. She has no protocols, not methods, and does not test, she only guesses. I am now seeing a different naturopath and he has a protocol for everything. First thing he did was check my adrenal hormones and guess what? I have stage 3 adrenal fatigue. So for months I went to dr. Kemby, spent my money and only got worse. Also, this new doctor ordered a stool test and found out I had a gut pathogen. He didn't just ask "How's your digestion?" I am finally starting to feel better. This has been a long and expensive journey. I really thought whether or not I should write this review. I want others to know. Don't spend your money, hope and energy here. read more

I recently visited Auburn Naturopathic Medicine and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Their front office staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Hook is extremely knowledgeable, got right to the issues she could identify that are behind the health problems I've been dealing with. She took the time to clearly explain the concepts pertaining to my treatment and discuss with me our options at this point. I see in some other reviews some people were upset that testing was recommended. Any good Dr will want to know what your levels are at before beginning a treatment program. I was glad that Dr. Hook took a balanced approach, looking at what we really need to test for now to get a foundation under us to determine some initial treatment options. Testing can be pricey but the office really worked with me to determine priorities. Already I'm seeing some results from the treatment already recommended and I'm looking forward to better health moving ahead with Auburn Naturopathic Medicine as a health partner. read more

In my opinion Dr Heidi Hook does not practice do no harm medicine. She claims she is about good nutrition but never once discussed ways to get micronutrients from real food. Instead she prescribed very expensive supplements from her clinic that contained ingredients that are known to be harmful. For example, her $40 bottle of vitamin C contains absorbic acid which is a synthetic vitamin C made from corn starch and volatile acids, which is not really vitamin C at all, but something made from gmo corn sprayed with roundup. If you are a current patient of hers I would caution you to read and research the supplements she has you on to determine if they contain ingredients that could be harmful to your health. I will not be going back and I will recommend to my friends and loved ones to stay away. read more

The doctors and staff here are kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I have been coming here for almost a year and they have helped me so much with nutrition, food education and supplements. Being treated with the correct diet, homeopathic options and high grade supplements instead of prescription drugs has made such a difference with my health. They are wonderful. read more

Don't waste your time or money. I initially went to Heidi Hook last January/February. I paid for labs through a third party (that their office uses) and the results were lost. I took time off work to drive back and redo the labs, then sent Heidi Hook's office all requested information. They said they'd call me to schedule a follow up appointment to go over my labs and genetic information and they never have. That was in April. Hundreds of dollars down the drain for tests that I've never received the results for, and appointments that have yielded nothing beneficial or tangible. This place is a joke. read more

I have debated posting my thoughts and experience vs just chalking it up to poor judgement. After asking myself if I my motive was to vent or to help someone else, I decided to post. In April, after a few years of feeling not like myself (the details are not important), I made an appointment for a "meet and greet" with Dr. Ann, followed by a 90 minute evaluation. While I agree with the other posters that the office staff was friendly, as was Dr. Ann, my positive impressions ended just past the front door. The physical exam that she gave me was a joke, with not enough time to truly access my vitals. As one of my issues involves the inner ear, I assumed that she would spend more time looking in my ear and evaluating sinus pressure. Nope. That there was a dirty stain on the carpet and a BandAid wrapper near the exam table was a bit of a turn off . While she asked many questions and took copious notes, the session wrapped up with her assessment that I needed a plethora of bloodwork (nearly $1K worth) but FIRST, that I should start taking three supplements immediately, at the bargain cost of $200. When I asked what supplements and why, she did write them down for me; one general protein powder (think smoothie), one for liver function and one for heart health. When I explained that without the results of the bloodwork to determine if these were appropriate for me, perhaps we should hold off, she argued that they were for "overall health" and a "good place to start". I was very clear early in the appointment that I was there for help transitioning to a plant based diet, sacrocranial work possibly, and that I wanted to lose 10 pounds. None of these were addressed. I walked out of there with my bag full of supplements and schedule for four different blood draws feeling like I had been duped. I don't know if Ann is typical of naturopathic professionals, but I was both deeply disappointed and more than a little frustrated. Discussions with friends who have also explored this "industry" (and yes, I use this term with sarchasm) confirms that I am not alone in my experience. Caveat emptor. read more
