I stumbled upon Unique Treasures after my most recent pit stop at the Clintonville Farmers Market…read more After walking by as I was heading to and from the car, I was intrigued by the dusty window and old signage. I just knew there had to be something special in there waiting for me! I opened the door and immediately noticed the large amount of inventory crammed into this little store. There was so much to choose from, I didn't even know where to start. No lie! I ended up starting towards the front of the room and eventually worked my way to the back. After browsing around for some time, I discovered everything from full tea sets to old photos, tons of jewelry, some awesome wall mirrors (with a touch of paint they'll be good as new!), records, and so much more! The fella that runs the placed is named Bob and he was so sweet. He has his nameplate on the desk next to the register, which made it really easy for me to know who to ask for when I was ready to check out. I assured him that I'll be back on Saturdays after the farmers market and he said he's almost always there (unless he's visiting Florida, haha). After about 15 minutes of looking around, I found a handful of cool jewelry pieces that I wanted. I ended up narrowing my option down to a really pretty blue pendant that simply needed a chain to be turned into a bohemian style necklace. For only a few dollars, I practically had a brand new piece of jewelry that could go with just about anything in my closet. Absolute score! I can truly say that I'm eager to make this a more regular stop on my weekend trips to the market. If I only looked around for fifteen minutes and found something good, just imagine what I could find with twenty, thirty, plus.

The bright colors, 60's-70's vibes, and fun name caught all of our attention. We didn't hesitate before nodding our heads in agreement, we had to go in! From funky clothing and jewelry to home decor, art, and kitchenware, this place just screams hippie wonderland... Take me back to the 70's please! It was wonderful. Towards the back of the building is a mini record store and that's where they hooked me! My record collection is largely oldies thanks to my grandmother. Luckily, they had a good mix of music and I picked out a more recent album I knew I needed in my collection. The staff was friendly, the space was fun, I'll definitely be back!

There are some amazing vendors that have quality vintage pieces at very affordable prices. You can tell that they take time and care with what they stock and how they set up their displays. I find that my favorite booths get restocked often with an array of new treasures. I've purchased beautiful original art, handmade ceramic pottery, a gorgeous Persian rug and many more one of a kind pieces. This is my go to place whenever I'm looking for unique home decor or a special gift. The off putting.. the staff is usually so helpful and kind but there is one employee (Kerry) that can be outright nasty to customers. I witnessed her make disparaging remarks about another customer. She did this in earshot of my mother and I and then acted like the other customer had personally offended her or done something wrong when they asked for a discount on a damaged item from her booth. She then proceeded to speak to my mother about why her nasty remark was justified. It was gross and I hope that the owner of the store reads this review and is able to address Kerry's nasty attitude. The other complaint is when you see an item with a thrift store price tag right next to the vendors highly inflated price tag. So tacky! I do highly recommend this store but I also hope they can address these issues.

But they are nicely arranged and chock-full of interesting dolls, some almost 200 years old. There's a printed guide, and a treasure hunt sheet. The staff are super friendly and talked to Baby K a lot, about the displays and about her dolls. There are furnished rooms with interesting artifacts as well as antiques for sale, but we barely saw those. Definitely worth a visit if you are anywhere nearby, and a detour if you are at all into dolls like some K.

I told her there was this great antique store I wanted to try and brought her over to The Doll Museum at the Old Rectory as a surprise. My mom loves dolls. Still owns several of them. She used to have a ton of them. I never really liked them, they used to creep me out as a kid as I sometimes felt they were watching me. Still she absolutely loves them and I thought it would be a fun surprise for her to visit a Doll Museum. Anyway she realized the surprise as soon as she saw the sign. I laughed when she said... you lied! You said this was an antique store... well its both i responded! We walked in and were greeted by two sweet ladies who are part of Worthington Historical Society. They told us a bit about the society as well as the history of the building we were in, which was built back in 1845 as the Rectory of St.Johns Episcopal Church. It now holds the Doll Museum which has 19th and 20th Century dolls from all over the world and also has an antique/consignment store attached. They took us on a tour of the place and talked about the dolls they had on display. My mom was so happy throughout the tour, and made the entire trip to Columbus worth it. Once we were finished we shopped in the antique store where i found an antique porcelain figurine from Denmark, a few items i thought would make my living room look nicer, and some jewelry I bought for my bestie. I got her this vintage turquoise bracelet! Also the proceeds help fund the historical society, so it was for a good cause! My whole experience here was wonderful. Although I will never love dolls... i love antique stores. By the end, we left with a smile on our faces ready to continue enjoying our family trip. If you are into dolls or antiques, definitely come check this place out!

Whoever works here as a gift for putting all the items together in a way it becomes a beautiful piece of art. There is so much to see from big items to little tiny ones; but everything was carefully thought of and not randomly put there. I had so many "awe...so cute" to "wow! Amazing!" moments. My favorite room is the colorful rainbow room full of dinnerware and crockery. I immediately started taking pictures. Everything was so organized and put together perfectly. The items were color coordinated and set perfectly as if they were a giant piece of art. It was so nice, I didn't even want to buy anything because it will mess up the whole room. I also want to mention how clean it was! There was no musty smell, no dust, nothing in your way that you can trip on. The house seems to have rooms that keep going and going in a maze like fashion. I found the cutest sweater in one of the rooms, and there was a mirror next to it so that I was able to try it on. It was so cute! They have a great collection of large furniture from the early 1900s, along with so many really old bikes, and chairs too. I knew it was made in Zanesville just by looking at it (my home town), but I was so pleased to learn that it really was by checking the stamp underneath.
