The service department is so bad here. I've gone here since 2013 - i recommend you do not. The good folks that work here leave as fast as they can. Expect to wait to be even acknowledged upon arrival - 10 mins min. The dealership recently changed hands so maybe sales is better but service is still so bad that I have changed brands for the first time in 11 cars. Never ever think you'll get a loaner no matter the car cost, service you're scheduled for, etc. This is supposedly a luxury brand. Audi USA needs to get their stuff together. I'm extremely disappointed with how my experience at Audi Arlington was handled from beginning to end. After a very poor interaction with a service advisor, the situation was escalated to management. When the manager eventually contacted me, the conversation did not feel like a genuine attempt to address what happened. Nothing meaningful was offered, there was no real resolution, and my concerns were not actually addressed. The call honestly felt more like a box being checked so they could say someone followed up rather than an effort to make the situation right. That was especially disappointing because once a customer takes the time to escalate an issue, I would expect management to listen, acknowledge what went wrong, and make some effort to restore confidence in the dealership. That did not happen here. Because of how poorly the entire situation was handled, I will not be returning to Audi Arlington. Today I went to Audi Tysons and contrast between Audi Arlington and Audi Tysons is significant. My experiences with Audi Tysons have been far more professional, attentive, organized, and customer-focused. Their communication and overall level of service are much more consistent with what I expect from the Audi brand. For a luxury dealership, customer service should extend beyond simply servicing the vehicle. How customers are treated when something goes wrong matters just as much, and unfortunately Audi Arlington missed the mark completely. read more

I maintained my Audi A7 according to Audi's recommended service schedule, with extensive documented service history through Audi dealerships. I also raised concerns about the mechanical issue well before it became a major failure, through multiple service appointments and multipoint inspections. I was repeatedly told by Audi Arlington associates that it was not a problem--until it became one. What disappointed me most was management's response afterward. I repeatedly tried to reach the manager and had difficulty getting calls returned. My understanding was that management could advocate for goodwill assistance from Audi, yet I was ultimately told my case would not be recommended in part because I purchased the vehicle from another dealer. That should not matter. I purchased an Audi, maintained it through Audi, raised my concerns with Audi, and had the documentation to prove it. Where the vehicle was purchased should not determine whether an Audi dealership is willing to advocate for its customer. I genuinely enjoyed my A7, but I will not purchase another Audi--not because of the car, but because of how Audi and this dealership responded when I needed their support. A premium brand is about more than the vehicle. It's also about how it treats customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion of Audi. read more

Update to previous review: Car computer malfunctioned again...because it was parked in the sun on a summer day for a couple hours (90 degrees maybe?). Apparently using the car in the summer is unacceptable. If it takes another 17 days to repair will be pursuing lemon law. Wrt actually buying the car...it took 4 hours. This after requesting all paperwork ahead of time so it would be quick. They kept making mistakes and having to reprint/resign everything, making me sit for long periods, and the upselling attempts on service contracts went on so long I almost walked. When we walked in, at 4:45, someone else was already test driving the car, and we were told they would still honor the price given to us regardless - then they made a deal with the other person and told us we were out of luck. My daughter cried and cried for 2 hours that we went through so much to get everything sorted and done and drove so far just to be lied too and not get to drive home in the vehicle we had come to buy. They were incredibly dishonest and sneaky over less than $1000 and lost not only our business but I will tell everyone I can how badly we were treated and to NEVER do business with these people at this dealership. read more

I was in the market for a new car and super excited to visit an Audi dealership to look at their offering given what I had seen on the roads. This appeared to be a smaller dealership as I drove up struggling to find a parking spot and eventually found one. I had to walk through the service garage to get to their showroom which didn't seem very welcoming. I was greeted by a salesman and explained that I was interested in a new car and wanted to see their cars. I walked up to a vehicle in the showroom, attempted to open the door, and it was locked. I had to ask the salesman if I could look at it to which he replied that he would go get the key. This is in the showroom, right in their office space, and the cars are locked. I've never experienced that at other dealerships in my 30+ years of buying cars. Is Arlington that bad of a neighborhood? Eventually, the salesman returned to unlock the car and I was able to look inside with more detail. I looked at some of the other cars (from the exterior) in the showroom and asked if I could take one for a test drive to which the salesman replied that he would have to ask his manager. At this point I was thoroughly confused as to what was happening since most dealerships want you to take a test drive. The salesman returned indicating that I would need to fill out an application and provide a deposit in order to take a test drive. How do I know I like the car if I've barely seen the interior and have never driven it? Yet you want me to put down a deposit? The salesman said most customers want low mileage cars and test drives increase the odometer miles. While I agree, most dealerships have a high turnover to where the miles are typically low because customers want to buy the car. At this point, I was upset and couldn't believe what I was hearing to where I decided to leave and go elsewhere. Next stop was the Mercedes Benz dealership down the road where I bought a new car. A week just to figure out what's wrong? That alone is frustrating enough, but what makes the situation worse is the lack of communication and urgency from the service department. The attitude of whoever runs the phones.. needs an upgrade. Be nice to your customers. My Audi has become increasingly degraded by the lack of quality workmanship within this service drive. Everybody seems to just "fake it till they make it" but on the customers dime(there are 2 professionals out of the whole squad). I just called because my cars been garaged for several months, and noticed my coolant level was extremely low! Strange as I've always stayed early or up to date on servicing and just had it serviced 5 months ago. Did they offer to "top off fluids" like a real dealership should? NO. They offered me a $260 diagnostic service and hung up after I said "thanks, I'll discuss it with my spouse, have a good day" they did not thank Me, for the $10k+ I've paid into the service center, nor could they be bothered with any COMMON COURTESY. Now I'll backtrack a bit for you.. I had a 50k service performed here, now the car stalls on hills and in the cold, for 5 years this car was serviced in Chicago and Milwaukee (a very cold place with hills) no issues. Also, a piece of chrome fell off the window, asked for help "popping" it back into place, was LIED to and told "yeah that part is broken, you'll have to order a new one, and have it installed" i did it myself, it was possible I thought since I was already paying them and they're already got their hands dirty, a piece of chrome wouldn't be such a big deal. It was. I ordered mud mats for the ENTIRE car, only got the footwell ones, missing the trunk piece.. was told "well, we have to order them from Germany, it can take up to 6 weeks or more" quick google will inform you THEY ARE MADE IN THE USA; Chicago to be exact. Its been 3.5 months since I purchased a used car from this disgrace of a dealership. I still have no tags from dmv and the dealer has admitted to losing my paperwork and title to a third party company. They won't issue any new temp tags and have done 0 to help me. I have been hung up on and left on hold for hours on end. I have been cursed at and left voicemails. Never a call back. A supposed general manager named james white has given me the run around for days on end. Always an excuse and I'll call you back in 10 minutes and never a call back. I've been forced to file a dmv complaint and a title inquiry through the bank that financed the car and today a better business complaint. I've been forced to start the legal process unfortunately. 1 Star -- If I could give zero stars, I would. Arlington Audi's service department is, without question, the worst I've experienced in all my years of owning Audi vehicles. Despite offering appointments, they don't actually honor them -- your car won't be seen at the scheduled time, and you're essentially dropped into a "whenever we get to it" queue. Their stated diagnostic window of 1-3 days is absolutely absurd for simply evaluating an issue. And when you express concern about being without a car indefinitely, they very politely suggest you "take it somewhere else." Truly unbelievable. Even worse, their loaner policy is a complete joke. They advertise loaners, but it's "first come, first serve," and somehow they never have any available -- not once. As someone who has owned Audis for many years and worked with multiple Criswell dealerships, I can say with certainty that this level of service is totally unacceptable and absolutely not in line with the brand. While the staff themselves are friendly, the process, policies, and lack of accountability make this dealership a place you should avoid at all costs. Leaving customers with no vehicle, no loaner, no clear timeline, and no real commitment to service is unreasonable and disrespectful. The service department here is special. I went in to have a recall fixed on the telematics unit which they basically put a plastic bag over the unit to keep it from getting wet. Little did I know the unit was not working from the time I purchased it 6 months prior. I called corporate and they made me take it back to the service department who had it for 3 days without touch it. (Air tag showed it never moving). I picked the car up to go out of town with no repair. I brought back months later since this was the only location willing to work on it since the original work was attempted here. They had it for a day and I came back in and they wanted me to agree to $500 in diagnostics for a problem they should have repaired. I will never use them again. Worst service department. read more

Let me start by saying that the new sales person, Adam, was so professional, kind and helpful. It fell apart when the rude and cocky manager Jae stepped in. First he was telling me the deal is only good for that day and I had to come in to complete the deal that day. Mind you, it was already 5pm. So, I was like no... Because I really liked the car, two days later I asked for another quote. And even went into the dealership. Again Adam was great, the Jae started questioning my logic and the other offers I'd received. Pretty much calling me a liar. Oh, and I put him in his place in front of his staff after that. I left to sleep on it because I really wanted to give Adam his first sale. The next day I asked for the payment info again because they won't let you take the deal sheet. 4 hours later he responded with a price $200 higher a month. The single worst customer service and car buying experience thanks to Jae. That's why I drove 3 hours to another Audi dealer that had red carpet service and no haggle transactions. The worst experience of a lifetime. I will never allow them to touch another vehicle of mine. They attempted to extort $4435.11 from me and the body repairshop. I did pay $229.00 for a diagnostic test. After some body work done by Calibre Collision, My driver side mirror would only closed if I used the knob from inside the vechicle. It would not close if I used the alarm key. The repair shop agreed to pay for it but I needed to get it diagnosed by a dealership. I made an appointment through AI (could not speak to a person) for 8/13/2025 at 0745 hours. Arrived at 0730 hours, explained to Service Advisor Luke Berryman the reason for my visit and not to wash the vehicle because it was recently painted. Mr. Berryman closed the left side mirror from inside the vehicle but was unable to close the side mirror by using the remote control. Two hours later I received an estimate for $4435.11 (parts/labor/tax). My vehicle was delivered to the front and I noticed it was washed even though I had expressed not to wash the vehicle. I spoke with Larry Shifflett, Corporate Service Director, an expressed my dissatisfaction. I left with the estimate, returned to the bodyshop, were another Audi Dealership was contacted who graciously explained since the motor was working that it only needed to be recalibrated. After 15 minutes or more, the mirror was recalibrated over the phone, works fine and did not cost the bodyshop $4435.11. Audi of Arlington attempted to extort money from me/bodyshop by repairing a mirror that was not broken but could have been simply repaired by recalibrating the mirror as instructed by another Audi Dealership. Anybody who had their vehicle repaired there should question if the repair was needed. read more

This is the best Audi dealership I've ever been to. My customer service representative was Evelyn. She checked me in so quickly and walked me around the facility since it was my first time there. When the mechanic was finishing up on my car, he sent me a link with a video explaining what he did and any recommendations. It was so easy to checkout on my phone and pay for the service. The car washing team was not there so Evelyn washed my car herself and vacuumed. That is great customer service! I just wish this location had snacks! read more

I currently have my son's Audi A4 in the service department for a repair. My appointment to drop the car off was Wednesday, November 12. A week later, my car still has not been seen by a technician. My service advisor Jonathan never calls me. I have to call him. When I reach him, I get excuses about a change in ownership being the cause of the terrible service. He also tells me that the change in ownership is the reason they are out of loaner cars. What's ironic is that this is my second time taking this car to Audi of Arlington and the same terrible service and excuses were offered then. Horrible experience. I brought my car in for a service action that is allegedly free. The service action also included a complimentary diagnostic. After the diagnostic, I was told that that service action could not be completed unless I spent 5k to fix other issues. I declined fixing the other issues as I did not feel the service advisor was being honest in explaining the criticality. Wasn't too upset at this point. After picking up my car from the dealership, I had a new warning light pop up immediately upon starting the car. I told the service advisor and manager about this. They acknowledged the warning light but claimed they did nothing to cause it and therefore, wouldn't address it free of charge. The ironic part is that the warning was for a burned out taillight, however, the taillight passed the diagnostic earlier the same day! Overall, this seems like a dealership that isn't concerned about what's best for their customers. They are all about milking every last penny out of naive customers. I sat for damn near 3 hours waiting to get word on my vehicle, only to get told that the car wont be diagnosed til the following week, and that they thought I was sitting "waiting for a ride". No communication nothing. Just assumptions. This place's morale is real low. The first time I came here, I saw it and vowed not to return. How do I give half a star? An oil change turned into something else. I have been meaning to write this months ago but I was trying to be nice and give the service advisor (Chris Bradford) the opportunity to make it right. At this point, no more being nice!! I've been to just about all of the Audi dealerships within the DMV over the times that I've owned Audis. My service experiences have been fairly decent until this experience with Audi Arlington. In June, I had taken my vehicle in for a simple oil change just before a road trip. That Saturday was the worst Audi service experience of them ALL. On Saturday, I pulled into the dealership around 1:28 PM for a 1:30 PM appointment that I made online. No greeter!? So, I walked into the dealership for help, it was clear that people were busy, preoccupied, and/or distracted. My car was checked in 30 minutes later and I was quoted 2.5 hours for the oil change which unfortunately didn't have me leaving that dealership until after 5:00 PM. I had paced around the dealership observing and listening to the employees take their time, waste time, shoot the shit and not care about customer service. The lack of professionalism is clear in how these people damaged my car and tried to deliver it to me as if nothing happened. Chris saw me pacing around that place, and around 4:15 came to tell me the car was done and they were just going to wash it. Well, they drove a lowered car into their machine and completely damaged the bumper, and bent the ALUMINUM skid plate which was hanging and scraping on the ground as they drove it to me. I could see it hanging and hear it scraping the ground on the approach. I called Chris to come to look at this and he had the nerve to ask me if that was a normal thing. I think he knew they damaged my car and was going to just have me leave and pray it wouldn't come back to them. Chris didn't take a report, he never followed up, didn't care enough to assess the damage and he never escalated it to leadership. He just said they were understaffed and that young people will make mistakes. And I noticed that Audi Arlington hasn't even submitted a service record against my VIN. SMH! I emailed Chris (and others at the dealership) immediately after this (NO ONE RESPONDED) and called and no one followed up with me. I shouldn't have to chase these people down for damages. I've even had one of the damaged parts delivered to them and STILL have NOT heard from them. They owe me a bumper, an apology, and other parts ASAP!! read more

I made a mistake and didn't read the reviews prior to visiting .... That mistake didn't end up hurting me this time in fact it was the complete opposite of what I've been reading . We just purchased a RSQ8 and the whole experience was amazing . I must say we went in to purchase the Q5 but happened to see that RS and had to take a look.. the only negative was that the initial guy we spoke with didn't follow up with us because we wanted a particular model but I call and spoke with Sterling Irby and from that moment everything was amazing from negations to finance. Mohamed the Gm was awesome as well .. so service that everyone is having issues with , the SOS popped up when we drove it home and I called back and they had my car in service the next day and also set up a appointment to get some paint protection stuff added on.. and get this we had a rental that day as well . Got the car back in 4 days .. I have nothing bad to say about this dealership or the people . I had an amazing experience and looking to buy another vehicle from them because of it !!!! read more

Audi Arlington Service Review The incompetence that I received at each level of my Audi Arlington Service experience has been beyond reprehensible--completely and utterly the most awful experience I have ever had. From the service advisor to every manager to whom I have spoken. I delivered my 2021 Audi Q8 (with roughly 10,500 miles and under warranty) to the Arlington Audi Service Department on September 20, 2022. The reason for the service is that SXM radio functionality disappeared from my touchscreen. As of the date of this review--now nearly 8 weeks later, Audi Arlington Service continues to make excuses about why they haven't resolved the issue. I spoke to a manager who said "I will get to be bottom of this, and I promise to call you back tomorrow." He never called, so I returned his call only to find out that he was out for four days on a trip to Chicago. In my experience, this dealership is not equipped to service vehicles nor deal with the public. The latest is that the my service advisor called me last Thursday (11.3) to give me an update, to tell me that they would be upgrading software to fix an issue with the rear camera, per Audi of America. Audi of America was apparently hoping that would resolve the SXM radio issue. Me too. I called on Monday (11.7) to check the status and nothing had been done. I called on Tuesday (11.8) and I was told "we ran into an issue downloading the software." I called today only to find out that the issue was with the service tech's USB. Seems easy enough to resolve to me, but nope. When I inquired further about when it would be completed, the service advisor told me they'd get to it Monday (11.14). That's 11 days of the dealership doing nothing. I had also been told that I would only be charged the fees for tolls (by a service advisor who was only employed there for four days). I even witnessed him confirming with the loaner department. However, today we get an email about tolls. Also, while picking up the loaner, a poor customer was providing his home address over speaker phone to a room full of customers. Complete incompetence! We have had this loaner -- a far cry from our vehicle -- for eight weeks! Meanwhile, we are paying SXM radio and the lease payment on a Q8 all while Audi Arlington is just...well doing nothing I suppose. I highly recommend you drive the extra miles to another dealership to get your Audi serviced. My experience has been that this dealership does not care and may not be up to the task of competently servicing your vehicle. Audi Arlington - please spare me your empty platitudes (i.e., "We are truly sorry to hear about your recent experience with us and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. We will get with our team to look into this matter further.). I've emailed your inbox "careteam@audiarlington.com" before, specifically on 10.4 (37 days ago), and I have yet to get a response. The absolute worst Audi dealership and service center in the DMV. I've patronized this establishment one time too many. I've spent THOUSANDS HERE. Every single visit involved an issue. The most recent visit involved/resulted in the "firing" of a rude and disrespectful service manager named "Steve." I'm getting frustrated while writing this review. His blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism was a dealbreaker for me. Overall, this establishment is untrustworthy. They will always pass the buck and NO ONE accepts accountability for anything. Mario was polite but he told me several bold faced lies. I actually wouldn't even recommend this dealership in an emergency. Save yourself a headache and go anywhere (though Audi service overall tends to be mediocre) but here!! No loaner, lies about when vehicle service should be completed, poor communication and just a pain to deal with period. read more
