Here at Radley Acura they say it's is normal for MDX Type S AWD to spin tires in 1st to 4th gear the vehicle to have terrible torque steer to where merging on highway is difficult in sport or sport+ it is impossible to hard accelerate from 0 to 60 because the wheels spins so bad the engine trys to shut down i was also told that there mechanics from there own mouth they have no knowledge of the service manual while to different independent technicians says the transfer case is broke and vehicle is only operating in front wheel drive show then pictures of the gear oil that came out the vehicle that had metal in it which I can't understand why they didn't check it the 2 times I went there before having it check by different shop wouldn't acknowledge that the transfer case breaking was an on going problem with these vehicles was told GM Jose would reach out toe never did zero acknowledgement of the lack of workmanship I have included pictures showing cost of repair that customers could be liable for if you take there word picture of gear oil filled with metal flakes and transcripts of Pohanka easy diagnosis of a Vehicle Radley said was operating just fine

Very poor customer service experience. I called 30 min ahead to confirm that a specific car was available to test drive. I was informed that it was available and would be ready for the test drive when I arrived. They also texted me to confirm (attached). When we arrived at the scheduled time, we were told that we would need to wait 25-30min because the car was taken out for a test drive. To pass the time, we went to Trader Joe's across the street to get groceries. I called again after 30min and was told that it would still be another 15-20min. We went back home wasting an hour of our day round trip. If this is the service provided before a sale, I seriously doubt the service is any better after buying a car from here or during the sale/negotiation process.

Bought a used car from them in June and the car broke down due to a huge coolant leak on the drive home. Was told the 30 day warranty would cover it and they would take care of it. Well 3k in repairs later and not even a return message from the sales manager or the GM when I reached out to them. They also indicated some repairs such as replacing windshield wipers in Carfax that obviously was not performed.

Lately its been a hit a or miss with the service department. Took my vehicle for a repair and their customer service lacks any transparency on a given timeframe for maintenance to be completed. Recently placed on hold to be transfered for 5 min and never spoke to anyone. This department operates more like a used car dealership that places more priority on profits over their clients. I wont be doing business here any longer.

I know nothing about cars. So when the notifications appear in my car to get my car serviced I do it. And unfortunately I always fall for the okey-doke. I was charged almost $600 to replace filters and condition some oil in my car. Then on top of all that they "recommended" new brakes at a cost of $800. The break pads are LESS THAN 30$ each. My neighbor who is a mechanic is putting them on for $100. So I'm paying less than $200 for everything. This Acura dealership wanted to charge me $800!!!!!!!! The $575 I paid for some air filters and oil conditioner is the last up charged service they will EVER bamboozle from me. The cherry on top was when I went to pick up me car 30 minutes after they called and said it was ready - but they lost it for another hour!! I was literally sitting in the dealership watching the time go by and there was no sense of urgency to find my car. I missed my a VERY important meeting as a result!!! According to them my car which was supposed to be washed was "skipped". To apologize they gave me a $200 discount on my "next service". The audacity to think I would ever give them another opportunity to screw me over.

First and foremost my husband and I have been coming here for years and we always recommend this dealership to family and friends which we have always had an amazing and smooth process with purchasing our vehicles and today! TODAY! I purchased the vehicle I've always wanted fell in love with it and BRIAN made it happen had this particular car brought to radley Acura because this was the vehicle I feel in love with online! Just AMAZING! The vehicle was delivered within hours and from there... BRIAN from sales & DEWAYU from Finance made it an incredible, smooth And easy process! BIG SHOUTOUT to LOGAN for being a part of this incredible experience! Thank you to you guys for the amazing team work and experience. !! :))

Spent a total of 4 hours here for an oil change and state inspection. If you have any respect for your own time, I'd advise you look elsewhere for service. Had to ask for an update myself after 3 hours (originally estimated 2 hrs for service). Words like fraudulent come to mind seeing as they continued to accept more customers past 2pm seeing as they close at 5, and apparently simple services take over 4 hours. Unsure if the car wash is standard or their attempt at an apology - either way the car is still unwashed as per the photo attached. Save yourself the headache, go elsewhere.

Radley Acura [RA]. (3 stars). Curse you COVID-19!!! Ok... now that I got that out of my system (the ranting... not COVID thank the Lord)!! If you're like me, you had that "go-to" mechanic that you trusted implicitly with your cars. Knew the history of your car. Knew your driving habits and gave recommendations for all repairs with a "fair price". I moved to DC in the height of the pandemic and sadly lost a family frequented lifelong mechanic back in Hawaii. Sadness. So when my Acura MDX started flashing it's lights at me and telling me it needed some maintenance done, I had to go with an Acura dealership because I don't know anyone here!! I knew the maintenance and other associated cost would be higher. I knew there might be a few items that I should get done. But I inherited this extremely low mileage car from my aunt when she passed away. My aunt took her car regularly to our mechanic and did everything that was recommended... So imagine my shock when I got a report with all the yellow and red items that needed attention ASAP! These recommendations were not for mileage or age... I was really confused because I just had my car checked out before I left Hawaii and none of these items were on the list. I only drove the car less than 1000 miles since moving to DC... Ummm What???!!! I went in to Radley Acura to get an oil change, tire rotation, and asked for a wheel alignment. That cost me $500+?! Then the recommended fixes were given a quote of $5k+???? Of course most were for labor. Umm even in the great condition this car is in, it's blue book value is $9-10k. I had the BF look over the list when I got home and we got someone to change out my brake pads because those did need changing. I had asked Acura to order me a new seat belt since mine no longer retracts and they quoted me $550. More than 50% of that was labor. Good thing the BF is handy so he changed my seat belt for me. We ended up ordering it from an online Acura parts store. So why the "A-OK" rating? There were some pleasantries and earnest desires by the service team to help me figure out what the clicking noise that was coming from my dashboard was. Thankfully, since they couldn't figure it out, I wasn't charged for that!! Customer service was friendly and the job was done in the time stated. I still don't know what the clicking sound is but I hope to find out before anything stops working!! Side Note: For anyone who has a 2000-2010 Acura MDX, we found out that the handset (phone) hookup drains your battery. We bought two new batteries thinking something was wrong and then finally gave up and googled it. Yup, sure enough, once we disabled the handset cable, the battery doesn't die!! Hallelujah!!! (Sadly, this was not the clicking noise that still exists though). I'm sure if I'm in dire need of maintenance for my MDX, I may still come to Radley. If only to get the minimal maintenance done and to get a comprehensive list of things I "should" repair.

    My new car!

That's the issue w/ Koons Ford Falls Church. Our '25 Bronco w/ 2k miles was due for 2 recalls and an oil change (due to time). I would normally have gone to Ted Britt Fairfax, but Koons offers a free pickup/dropoff service that was too convenient to pass up. I sign up for a service appointment and request valet pickup/dropoff. It's important to note, I live on Frederick St SW in Vienna. They pick up the car roughly a half hour late. No biggie. I get a text from the service advisor confirming the work to be done -- oil change, tire rotation, recalls. This is at roughly 11am. 4pm, I get a call from a different service advisor asking why I missed my appointment. Turns out, they didn't realize they had my car for 5 hours. I confirm with him that all they are doing is an oil change, tire rotation, and the 2 open recalls. He said yes, they are in the process of replacing my backup camera. Woah woah woah. Although there is an open Ford recall on backup cameras, my year/VIN is not affected. My car's backup camera is fine. He goes quiet, and says he'll "be right back." He comes back and apologizes, and says yes, they will do the oil change, tire rotation, and the *correct* recalls. That night, I get notified from Koons that they "completed the state inspection I requested" and recommend a $180 wheel alignment. First off, the car has 1800 miles and is a year old. It absolutely does not need an alignment. Second off, our inspection was valid until August and it's June. I didn't ask for or approve a state inspection. Third, I had just removed the sticker since we're moving to Florida and they don't need inspection stickers, and now I'll need to take it off again. My service advisor calls me the next morning, saying he assumed I wanted an inspection 'since I was due.' There's no feasible way the car was due, since it was manufactured in August of '25 and it's June 2026. I talk with a different service advisor the following morning, who is apologetic and says they won't charge me for the inspection, says everything was completed, and says the car will be on its way back to me. I get a call that my car was dropped off. I walk outside my house, and see no car. I'm talking with the valet on the phone, and he says "yeah, I dropped it off at S Frederick St in Arlington." It took all my willpower to not yell "that is not the same thing as Frederick St SW in Vienna!" He said oh, your service advisor gave me the wrong address. Okay, so, first they didn't realize they had my car; second, they were about to do the wrong recall work on it. Third, they did work that WAS NOT AUTHORIZED. Fourth, they recommended work that was not needed and was a complete scam. Fifth, they DROPPED THE CAR OFF IN THE WRONG CITY.

Within a very short time, it became obvious the transmission was failing hard shifting, slipping, warning signs that don't just appear overnight. What's most frustrating is that this feels conveniently undisclosed. There is no way a dealership "inspects" a vehicle and misses such a major issue, especially one this serious and expensive. It's hard not to believe this problem was known and intentionally hidden just to make the sale. We know that it was intentional because whoever they had make the makeshift repairs to seal the deal, left a used rag in the transmission pan. Yes, you read that correctly, they left a rag in the transmission pan that they'll surely claim they knew nothing about. A transmission repair on a vehicle like this is thousands of dollars, and buyers should not be left holding the bag because a dealership chose profit over honesty. We thankfully had a warranty through our credit union and was able to get the vehicle repaired. We have already drafted a letter to the credit union that they need to be removed from the trusted sellers list. If you're considering buying from here, get an independent inspection first or better yet, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. I regret trusting this dealership and would never recommend them.

I was only planning to look but the hospitality extended, pulled me right in. I knew this dealership was different from the others I'd visited. My sales consultants, Steve, and Apollo (GSM) were a breath of fresh air in the car-buying world. There was absolutely no pressure - just genuine interest in helping me find the right vehicle. I came to take a look at a Benz but ended up leaving with a practically brand new Audi that was within my price range. They listened carefully to my requirements and showed me several options that perfectly matched what I was looking for, without trying to upsell me to something more expensive. They provided a detailed breakdown of all costs, and their initial offer was actually very reasonable - no back-and-forth games or hidden fees. The finance department was equally impressive. Nik in financing explained all my options clearly and didn't push any unnecessary add-ons. He helped me secure a great interest rate and made the paperwork process smooth and efficient. What really stood out was their attention to detail even after the sale. We were at the dealership extremely late finalizing the sale and completing paperwork. The owner, Sam, made sure that we had dinner. They purchased dinner for us from a local staple in the area. Bottom line: If you're in the market for a luxury used car, do yourself a favor and visit Merlex Auto Group. They've completely changed my perception of what car buying can be - no stress, no games, just honest and professional service from start to finish. Ask for: Steve (sales); Apollo (GSM) and Nik (finance). Tell them Coco referred you!

Before dealing with Merlex Auto Group at 1105 Glebe Rd in Arlington, VA, please read this account…read moreof my recent experience which demonstrates the business's poor practices: "Grace" was the online business point of contact who reached out to me when I expressed interest in buying one of their used cars. She continued to reach out to determine whether I was still interested in the car. When we connected she confirmed that the car was still available. We then made arrangements to meet at the dealership for a test-drive early that afternoon. After we agreed to a specific time, she texted me: "See you later!" When I arrived at the business's used car lot and entered the small building on the lot, there was no one to greet me. After waiting for a couple of minutes, I walked to the doorway of an open office and asked for "Grace." The two men in the office gave me such a cold, almost disdainful look, and the one behind the desk indicated he had no idea who "Grace" was. When he then said that I needed an appointment, I informed him that I had an appointment with Grace, with whom I'd been corresponding via text. He directed me to speak with one of the representatives outside and promptly closed the office door, as if to emphasize that he had no interest in dealing with the likes of me, a customer ready to pay cash for a used car! A representative who had just entered the building asked who I was supposed to see. When I told him "Grace," he found my appointment on his phone said that he was going to contact "Mo." "Who is "Mo?" He explained that Grace, the person who texted to me that she would "See me later," worked from home and did not come into the office. I declined his request to have a seat while he continued to try and reach "Mo." I instead went outside into the lot and saw the car I'd come to test drive. The employee had followed me out and confirmed that the car was the one in which I'd expressed interest. He was still trying to reach "Mo" and walked away after saying that I could inspect the car. After visually inspecting the outside of the car, I sat inside it, looking at its condition. Just as I was mulling over how strong the cigarette smell in the car was, I heard another salesman calling out: "Sir, you can't be in that car. It's sold already." I explained that Grace had just texted me that the car was available and had scheduled a test drive. He repeated that the car was sold. Here is why I will not give my hard-earned cash to Merlex Auto Group: 1. The office personnel are rude and unprofessional, giving off a "clear "don't bother me" vibe. 2. Either the online sales representative did not know that the car was no longer available, which speaks to poor business procedures; or else she knew but failed reach out to let me know so I wouldn't have to drive for well over an hour for nothing. 3. Instead of the online representative telling me who would be working with me at the lot site, Grace instead gave me the clear impression that she would be there by texting: "See you later!" 4. As I left the lot and as of the time of this post, no one with the business has even bothered to reach out to me to express regrets over how things went. If this is the kind of poor service you receive when the business is trying to close deals, just imagine what must occur after you've signed a contract and a problem or disagreement surfaces. No, thank you. Times are way too hard and I choose to not give my hard-earned money to businesses that treat customers in this fashion. Consumer beware.
