The two hour nightmare that I experienced at Audi Arlington will forever keep me from ever going back to this sleazy dumpster fire again. My experience was so bad that this establishment actually tarnished the "luxury" Audi name. Let me begin... I was in the market for a new car, specifically an SUV so I wanted to check out and test drive the Q3 and Q5. Enter, Audi Arlington... I walk into the dealership and am immediately greeted by a sales rep, who I'd later find out to be, a new hire. I forgot his name but he's not even listed on the website (hopefully they got rid of him). I told him what I was looking for, and he immediately started to upsell me on the Q5, alongside completely bashing the Q3. In his words, the Q3 was "cheaply made" and "a starter car" despite the new models running over $40K. Right off the jump, I could tell he was selfishly focused on his commission and nothing else. There was no care in the world for what I was looking for, just your typical sleazy salesman tactic. Just to get him to shut up, I decided to start with a Q5 test drive since I wanted to see what this model felt like on the road. Despite the Q5 being their "most popular" model they sell, none were ready to be taken out for a test drive. While waiting, I decided to go get a coffee in the lounge area. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken alongside a disarray of cups on the counter. It might seem like a small detail, but this certainly doesn't embody "Audi luxury" at all. Everything was messy, the people were rude, and when making such a big financial decision, this level of service was unacceptable. After finally getting into the Q5 with this clown, we spent over 15 minutes messing with the settings because there was a "20mph cap on the speed" which we could not figure out. Not a recipe for success when test driving on the highway... After a nightmare joy ride with the con man in the Q5 followed by a 5 minute test drive in the Q3, I decided to not ruin the rest of my Saturday dealing with the sales non-sense. After I wrapped up the test-drive, he immediately tried to start pressuring me to make a decision. Once he realized he wasn't going to make a sale that day, he was extremely rude to my wife when we voiced wanting to leave and was trying to show us prices when we expressed only wanting to test drive and had no interest in purchasing that day. We ran out of there as fast as we could. This whole experience was so gross it will make me never want to purchase an Audi EVER and I feel bad whenever I see some poor sucker driving one on the road now. read more

Jae the sales manager and Joseph were instrumental in helping me find and purchase one of the most sought after Audi vehicle. Waitlists are 1-2 years at most dealerships. Jae and Joseph provided excellent service throughout the purchase process. They were very fair in their pricing in the current market. I also got a bit more than other dealerships in the area on my trade. I left a deposit earlier in the week and they kept their word on pricing throughout the purchase process. I know this dealership has gotten a bad reputation in the past and I have mostly dealt with Chantilly or Tysons in the past. However, it all comes down to the salesperson and sales manager. I would not hesitate to recommend both Jae and Joseph if you are in the market for a Audi. On the financing side the rates were higher just due to fed funds rates being higher. If you have access to your own financing that would be the best option. Very happy with my first purchase experience with Audi Arlington. read more

This was my 3rd Audi from this dealership and because of this mess, my last. They lost a loyal customer. I purchased my lease in August and this dealership has done nothing but frustrate me. The check cleared but it took a battle to get the registration-2 months. I had to fight to get that- numerous calls and trips to the DMV telling me there is no record of this car, me as owner or the title. I've called everyone and months later I still don't have the title. They've gone long past the allotted time to have the title available. No electronic title either, which normally takes 10 days. I get plenty of excuses and passing the buck but No one can answer as to why- oh but COVID. They actually said because of COVID, at one point as to why it's not been done. That excuse does not work years later people. This is pure incompetence. They keep telling me one excuse after another. It's beyond ridiculous. Yesterday, I got yet again another letter telling me to return my vehicle that I've paid for- there is no record of payment. I reached out again to finance dept but no they did not respond. Today, I am done with their games. I filed complaints with the BBB, the Attorney General and Motor Vehicle dealer board as well. Audi financial can't even get a straight answer from this dealership. I suggest if you must, Use a different dealership or better yet, different brand of Auto. I was a very loyal Audi owner until now. I took my car to Audi of Arlington for a recall repair because of its convenience, regarding location, and I had planned on making this my new go-to for my car services, despite most of the negative reviews that were already posted. However, this was a big mistake. Dropped my car off at 11:00 am for my scheduled appointment, and I called to see if my car was ready at 5:50 pm and was told by Johnathan in the service department that he was going to check with the techs and give me a call back. I called again at 6:00 pm because it shouldn't take that long to get an answer back. Johnathan answered the phone and told me he was still waiting to get an answer from the service tech. I then told Johnathan that I was on my way to pick up my vehicle. Johnathan called me back at 6:09 pm and told me that my vehicle is not ready and it will be ready the next day at 9 am. This is unacceptable and a total inconvenience because it's certainly not like I had a loaner vehicle. First of all, Audi is supposed to be considered a luxury brand, and the service tech's job is to keep you abreast about the status of your vehicle. I shouldn't have had to call to see if my car was ready. I purchased my Audi from Audi Ownings Mills, and their service was outstanding!! I definitely would have taken my car back to their service department if it weren't for the distance. But oh well, lesson learned. I definitely won't return to this dealership ever again. I sold them my car 13 days ago and I still haven't been paid. They have moved slowly to handle things on their end and told me I have to wait until the DMV removes the lien off the title. They paid the loan and have confirmation that the lien release has been sent to the DMV. Yet, I have to wait. We all know how long the DMV can take. I was told I would have my money in 7-10 days. We're on day 13. They have had my car and I have nothing. I trusted them to do what they said. I gave them everything they asked for my title and all the information to get this handled in a timely manner. However, they don't trust me to pay me for my car. I would give zeros stars if I could. I had been taking my car there because it's closest to DC but the service (in person or on the phone) is HORRIBLE! I'm officially never going back. Took my car in for a check engine light that is on and shared what I believed the issue was based on me taking my car to another dealer who told me what codes were. I also had a copy of the technical service bulletin which said my car should be under warranty for the issue. I was told it would take FIVE days days for a diagnostic, they can't give loaner during diagnostic and that my car isn't covered by the bulletin. I made the appt anyway thinking I'd just figure it out later. And I was told Just not to show up. They don't care if I miss the appt. It's not a "big deal". Five days for a diagnostic at 4 weeks out is crazy. So I asked for a later appt when it wasn't too busy and she said it didn't matter when I scheduled, the diagnostic would still take 5 days. I walked outside and called Audi Tyson's. They said they believe my car was covered by the bulletin based on the VIN. They could get me on the next week but offered two weeks out so they could provide a loaner. NIGHT and day difference in tone and service. read more

I called to take my car in for a few things, one of which was a diagnostic. The rep (Eric) told me it would take 2-3 days and they could not promise me a loan car. I told him I did not mind waiting a few months, but I couldn't give them my car without something to drive. He said he couldn't make any promises that a loan car would be available so there was nothing he could do. I walked in looking to purchase an RS6 cash or RSQ8 cash and instead of greeting me when I came inside like a normal business does they ignored me and told me I couldn't sit in the RS6 and told me since Lamborghini was allowing me to take my car overseas as soon as I buy it I should go buy it from them. In what world should a customer have to leave their car for "several days" for a manufacturer recall and not be given a loaner or at the very least a courtesy rental? Then to be told you can get a rental out of your own pocket..... for a RECALL. This is the 2nd or 3rd time Audi Arlington is unable to provide a loaner vehicle when we bring our car (purchased from them) in and it's a waste of our time every time to be told in person after we drive in from MD that there are no loaners today. As for sales, we we're seriously interested in a new Audi but the lack of interest by members of the sales team in us is a huge turn off. Once the car was towed to the dealership, it took me two hours to talk to someone (no one was answering the phones - tried multiple extensions). - Car got checked in and they said that it would take four days to get to my car to run a diagnostic. - Representatives are not knowledgeable AND they lie. - Talked to the Manager and he was of NO help so I had it towed and now I have a new Audi Mechanic. They don't care and are unprofessional. - I am retired military and I have been here for some time. There aren't any reportable Audi dealers near who provide a decent quality of service. My most recent experience with Audi Arlington was easily the worst dealership (or even car service experiences) I've ever had. The long story short is that I had a car in for Audi Platinum warranty service that took nearly two months to get back, with no loaner for well over a month of that time. In the whole process, there seemed to be zero accountability - Audi of America was pretty useless, and the dealer website had no contact information for anyone in management. Common explanations from the dealer regarding my delays were generally that they were short staffed, because "no one wants to work anymore." I was only able to get some resolution, with repairs started once I was able to escalate to the General Manager. I've included the timeline of events, below. April 25, 2022 - Talked to Service Advisor, and was told appointments were running two weeks out, so I make appointment for the first available time slot, 5/9/22 at 7:30AM. May 9, 2022 - Arrive at Audi dealer around 7:30, and end up in a long line. After waiting a half hour to drop off my car due to short staff, I park the car, leave my keys in an envelope with Service Advisor and run to work, as I'm now late. May 12, 2022 - I check in on my car daily, and am recommended to go to another dealer. At this point, no dealerships close by are taking reservations before May 23, 2022 (date of warranty expiration) May 12, 2022 - I am told that a loaner will be found to alleviate some stress, but the time when my car will be looked at cannot be determined May 13-22, 2022 - I reach out nearly daily, my car is never looked at, no loaner has yet been offered May 23, 2022 - My Audi Platinum warranty expires - My car is now unable to move anywhere else to get the work done; still no loaner provided May 24-25, 2022 - My car still hasn't been looked at, one month has passed since I made my reservation, and no loaner provided May 26, 2022 - I attempt to reach out to Service Manager after getting his information from Service Advisor - I receive no response from Service Manager, but am told by Service Advisor, "As of yesterday our service managers have reassessed how work will be dispatched in attempt to alleviate the backlog with the assumption that proper restaffing will not be an option for the foreseeable future. They are doing their best but it is a slow process without realistic expectations." I am told that this would result in my car being looked at sooner than under previous policy May 31, 2022 - My car is finally looked at, with nearly $5k in work identified; I'm told parts are available, but the issue is finding shop time to work on the car; still no loaner provided June 1, 2022 - Warranty claim is filed; still no loaner provided June 9, 2022 - My wife's car is totaled after being rear ended on the beltway, leaving us, a family of four without a car we can transport our kids in; explaining the bind this situation is putting me in, I request a loaner, I am told I will receive one that day, but don't June 13, 2022 - After communicating with Service Advisor daily, warranty claim approval comes through; still no loaner provided June 17, 2022 - After showing up in person, Service Advisor commits to getting me a loaner, and I receive one later in the day June 18-24 - Two months have passed since I made my reservation, and my car still hasn't been worked on yet. My registration expires on 6/30 June 25, 2022 - Send email to General Manager (was able to get his contact info from Service Advisor and also on repeated mailings offering to purchase my car); General Manager responds back that he can chat Monday AM and will look into my situation June 27, 2022 - I talk to the General Manager that AM, and by the afternoon, Service Advisor emails to say work has started on my car - At this point it has been two months since I made my reservation June 28, 2022 - Request an emissions inspection since my car's registration is about to expire - Service Advisor states that there is no emissions inspector present at dealer - I'm thankfully able to use an old RapidPass result from before I dropped off the car to renew my registration online June 30, 2022 - Service Advisor states car is ready, but pending paperwork - unsure what paperwork this is given warranty was approved July 1, 2022 - Service Advisor states car is ready for pickup, and wait in an empty dealership for well over 30 minutes for paperwork to be completed. I'm finally able to leave after paying my $85 deductible TL;DR - Stay far away from here and if you're out of warranty or just need brakes and tires, find a reputable Indy shop - there's no reason to go to this place - it's overpriced and horribly unreliable. read more

Everything about my interaction with this dealer has been terrible. I went against my instincts after some i initial red flags (the sales person made numerous statements about the car that werent true, which I only found out after connecting to the app), which was a mistake. Immediately after picking up the car, I identified a leak. They put me off for months until I insisted on a repair. At that point they refused to adhere to the warranty and told me to "drive it around until it becomes an emergency." Even when Audi corporate got involved, they refused to cover the fix. This doesnt come close to the "luxury" experience advertised. Nothing about this dealer is satisfactory. I recommend avoiding them at all costs. If you really want an Audi, Bethesda seems more reputable. If you absolutely want to work with this dealer, prepare for some serious letdowns when you need them to follow through after your check cashes. read more

Have had a nightmare experience that totally ruined the whole "new car" high. Bought a new, 2024 Q5 40 in November 2023, which was supposed to have a remote start via the Audi Connect app according to (https://media.audiusa.com/en-us/releases/573), and Donald, the salesperson. Audi doesn't offer a demo at new car sales so you can actually see what the App offers until you buy the car. Within days I was back at the dealership when I couldn't find the function on the app. Worked with several salespeople and with the Audi Connect app team - no one knew why it wasn't working. Help tickets were filed and ultimately I was told the car did not have the function. Have been battling with AudiArlington and AudiUSA ever since to make it right. To add insult to injury, their parent company, Rosenthal, reached out and offered to have me pay them - no I'm not kidding - $18K and give them my new car to get one with the function in it and resolve the matter Are they kidding me????? Beyond horrible. These people can't be trusted. They don't care about their customers or their brand. If you are looking for an Audi, do yourselves a favor and drive another 10-15 miles to Tysons or Bethesda. Better yet, buy a Lexus. read more

I went in with the full intent of purchasing a 2021 AudI E-tron sport back VINWA12AAGE1MB002888Stock NumberZ02888SL. I arrived at the dealer to test drive the car upon inspection of the vehicle I notice 2 significant issues 1. The car has been hit on the passenger side with visible damage and 2. There is an area that on the lower front lip that has damage as well. None of this is listed on the carfax report. The sales person stated that we can fix it. Great but it's depreciated in value due to the damage - no longer valued at 60,900.000! Any insurance adjuster will inform you of the new value. I visited in person, too, for answers, and was told to "call back" at a time two weeks later. Guess what? AK Sebih and his team never answered. Other employees here, both sales and other, told me they would "leave the finance manager a note" to contact me. Either they too do not care, or AK and his team continued to not care about a customer. I had to call Audi USA and after talking with 3 different departments, I was able to receive some much-needed information. They are presumably superseding what Audi Arlington miserably failed to do. I never write reviews but I feel like it's appropriate in this scenario. Our car was working just fine but we had a recall so we brought it in to the Arlington Audi. They didn't allow us to drop it off before or after the work day so we took time off work to bring it in. When it was ready for pick up on the following Friday, we had to take more time off work to pick it up and immediately smelled gas. This stench was not present before the service. It just got worse throughout the weekend, to the point that it was undriveable. On Monday when they reopened, we called and were told to drop it back at the dealership (more time out of our day). No offer to pick it up, no apologies for messing up, nothing. On our way to the dealership the car broke down on the side of the road and we had to get it towed to the dealership. The dealership did not offer to cover the expenses of the tow, did not offer a rental, didn't even call us like we asked once the car was delivered to the dealership. I called to complain and they really didn't offer any help, didn't even accept fault. Like I said, NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR BEFORE WE BROUGHT IT IN. Now we are out almost $400 because of their inadequacy. I've always had such positive experiences with Audi, but I will never bring my business to this dealer again. Tyson's corner will have to do! Went this dealership to get "independent" inspection after buying a used Audi from another dealership. The service requested was - multi point inspection. This service usually takes an hour, max two. But these guys took almost the whole day. End result, a one or two page report which I could have obtained on my own with a visual inspection. Did not look like a 5 hour effort. No information on engine, transmission, electronics! The service rep was disinterested and had no intent of explaining the results to end customer. They had a complimentary wash and vacuum included with the service, which they politely declined to perform. Then I asked to help me setup the "Audi connect" app, which they couldn't since the backend server was down. Rep claimed they were buried down the neck with work, and I could hardly see one or two customers in the waiting area. End of the day, what worked flawlessly, was their POS payment system to charge me a sum of USD 300 of the services. I don't think they care about their customers, or care about providing a top quality service. I will be avoiding this place for my next tune or maintenance in the future. I went in Tuesday for a tire replacement under road hazard since I bought the tires from them. It took a while but it was taken care of. The problem is that when I got home I noticed leaking coolant under my car. I popped the hood and saw the coolant reservoir cap was removed but replaced (it was in the engine compartment which indicated they had taken it off during the multipoint inspection and not replaced it) and another module cover was removed and not replaced entirely. I called the service section that same day asking for a service manager to relay that the tech provided less than quality service and request they send back the part they didn't replace. I was told Suhaylah would call me back but she not within an hour or two so I called back and was told she was busy. I sent Chris the pictures I took of my engine compartment the moment I opened it and he confirmed the problem. Since then I've texted in response to Muhammad when he asked how the service was (the advisor that was assigned to the service) the same info and pictures and called daily asking for someone to fix the problem and send me the cover No one responds or calls back. Another service manager (he said there are more than one manager for the service section) Will said he would take care of it and hasn't called back. To make matters worse, since I rode my motorcycle most of the week since Tuesday, I learned on Saturday (16Oct) that my coolant reservoir cap was not just removed and not replaced but it is leaking as well. I've talked to Chris, Will, and Muhammad and nothing has happened. Service managers won't call back to resolve a pretty easy issue if they just try. I've emailed their care team email and gotten no response. I don't understand how a business would entirely neglect a customer. Audi Arlington, please return the party you removed from my car and please fix the damage your tech did to the coolant system. Purchasing a car from Audi Arlington was singly the MOST painful experience of my life - by far! I can safely say that other than the price of the car, NOTHING else went right with this purchase. NOTHING. So if NOTHING else went right after the price negotioation, why did I give them three stars? Good question. The answer is simple - for everything that got screwed up, they at least made a [what I believe to be] sincere gesture to offset whatever just got screwed up. So, rather than typing out this whole thing is storybook format (which would take forever), I'll just summarize what took place. December 20, 2019: I arrive at the dealership at 7:30. Website (I think Google) showed the dealership open until 9:00 PM, but it was actually only open until 8:00 PM. The car I wanted, a red Audi A4 was actually on display in the showroom. A salesman approached me and we test drove the car. I showed them the price I received from USAA ($9,992 of the sticker price) and they agreed to the price. These dealers are all about service revenue. I purchased the pre-paid maintenance package when I purchased my 2017 Audi A5. I had service done every 10K miles. It ended at 50K miles & they offered me another package deal for the 60K & 70K miles maintenance which I purchased. I made an apt for my 70K miles maintenance in April 2025. At the service counter, the rep told me my maintenance package expired in Dec 2024 & I couldn't use it. I told the rep that nobody explained to me that the package had an expiration date & that I work from home & barely drive my car. I wouldn't have purchased the package if I knew it would expire. They wouldn't accept the package & I had to pay out of pocket to get my car serviced. I would NOT recommend this dealership. Watch what they try to push on you & sell you. Ask questions! Support your local auto car maintenance shops instead. It's probably cheaper anyways. read more

Okay...I WANT to be able to leave a good review as we're trying to support our local dealership; however we continue to have issues...including yesterday. About a year ago, we attempted to drop off our Audi for a scheduled service appointment, but after waiting over 20 minutes for an advisor to even acknowledge our presence, we left...vowing not to return. With an upcoming, unscheduled road-trip soon, we could not get an appointment with Audi Tysons Corner so Audi Arlington said we could just come in and get an oil change within 3-4 hours. The 40k service was upcoming so they performed that service. They then wanted to balance the brand new tires...which were just replaced two months ago. Then there's an AWD service for another ~$800. Upselling...we get it. (We did not buy into the upsale.) Then the bill comes and it has "shop supplies" charges added that were not included in the estimate. Those were waived, but COME ON...stop trying to sneak stuff in like that! The complimentary car wash was great...UNTIL we got home and noticed that the rear windshield wiper had been broken off. No problem...it should be a quick fix...IF they would call back when they promised to have a manager call. We understand the complexities of running a service department, but the continued lack of customer service, upselling, and bait-and-switch tactics grow tiresome. read more

I visited this dealership today to test drive the Q3. The salesman went over the car with me and told me about the features that were on it. He also assumed there were features that I may not really need. How does he know that? Doesn't he think I'm not capable of making up my own mind? We went for a test drive. I was impressed with how the car drove and had a lot of zip. He was making comments about how I could drive the car home today and that I need to get out of my old car quickly because of issues with the manufacturer. Excuse me, but my present car has served me very well and I have almost 200K miles on it. When it's time for me to let that car go, it will be decided by me and no one else. I told the salesman i wanted to take the time to do my own research and to sleep on it. He asked me three things that I was considering in my research. I couldn't give him only three things because there's more to it when determining the car I will be driving for years to come. He also ridiculed me when I said I wanted to purchase and not lease. He kept asking what was missing from the car that was preventing me from buying it today. When we were back at the dealership, I got tired of his badgering attitude, exited the vehicle, got in my own vehicle, drove off. The salesman just stayed in the car like a pouty child and watched me leave. Unless you enjoy high pressure sales tactics, do not visit this dealership. You would be better off going to some place like Carmax or any place where the salespeople will not pressure you to make a decision that you are not ready to make and will insult your intelligence if that's what they have to do. read more

I have the best service advisor and technician duo. I came in for an oil change one day, my service advisor, Lucky, brought my car around cause one of the techs left my car sitting in the shop. Lucky immediately pointed out to me that my pano roof was rattling. I told him Audi Chantilly diagnosed multiple times and did not want to do anything about it. I'm a car guy and I've done my homework. I know there's a TSB for it, and Lucky confirmed. He set up an appointment for me to bring the car back the following week. Finally after two years of owning my Audi, no more annoying rattling!! All other times I bring my car in for service, Danny Alvarez is my go to technician. Never have to bring the car back for any additional repairs or complaints about cleanliness of the repair work. Will continue to be my go to Audi dealer. read more

The scheduling system is terrible and the time estimates that the service department provides is highly inaccurate. Being an Audi Dealership, when you ask for a loaner, do not provide your customers with a Honda as the loaner car. Your customers are paying several thousands more to drive an Audi, why are you providing them with a Honda? Also, several employees do not wear masks, and some customers don't as well. I called Audi arlington to see if they could reprogram my key. What they told me would take an hour and 189 dollars has turned into a two week nightmare. I went back 6 days later as they had issues programming the key to find out that in the days I left my car on the lot they left a crack my windshield the size of my arm and deny responsibility despite the before photo not showing a crack, which is completely ridiculous. read more
