Our Salesman was Omar he was extremely accommodating and he went above and beyond to make my purchasing experience seamless. The dealership had a vehicle I was interested in but I wasn't ready to purchase it on my initial visit. He didn't pressure me to make the deal he understood my position and I didn't get any emails or phone calls in between my visits. I let him know that I had made a decision and I would be there in 2 days to make the purchase. I asked him to please make sure the vehicle was detailed prior to my arrival. I got there and my wife had a small issue with the cleanliness. Omar reacted quickly and had the issue resolved in minutes. As I was saying goodbye to Omar he noticed the vehicle didn't have a full tank and he insisted I meet him at the gas station so he could top the tank off. I also have to mention Taylor. The vehicle I was trading in was 6 years old with high mileage. I was very satisfied with what Taylor gave me for the vehicle in trade. He also made sure to provide me with a Veteran discount that I had not asked for, Omar told him that my drivers license had identified me as a Veteran, and Taylor applied the discount. The splashguard on my 2018 Audi Q5 was damaged but repairable. I called a local mechanic who said they repaired these guards all the time. Still, I took it to Wilmington Audi figuring that is what they specialized in. There, I was told it could not be repaired. They said the cost to repair was $1,050 but offered to do it for $950 stating that it was the cost of the splashguard and that they would throw in the labor for free. In addition, they tore off a part of the splashguard in an obvious attempt to force me to return for a new one. I went back to the local mechanic who laughed at the $950 charge. When we researched the cost of a splashguard, we found that we could get one for much less than $100. We bought one and the local mechanic replaced the old one for free. After I moved here from NJ I leased my new 2023 Mythos Black Audi Q5 40 series from here for 36 months. Tyler was my salesperson. I was very pleased with my Audi Q5 40 series after 2 years until they made me an offer I could not refuse. I received an email and mailer with a special offer for a new 2025 Audi Q5. After only two years of my 3 year lease they offered me a new 2025 Brilliant Black Audi Q5 40 Series at my same monthly lease cost with $5k down. I explained to Tyler that I did not want to lease two black Audi's in a row. Anyway they ended up offering me a new 2025 Blue Navaro Audi Q5 45 series, which we agreed on their proposal via texting. The 45 series is a sportier Q5 which offers the 45 series 241 HP engine versus my current 40 series 201 HP engine. I just picked up my new Q5. I am enjoying the additional 45 series HP. I took my car in for service oil change and the tech recommended I replace the oil coolant. I had a leak. They moved forward with oil change which prices went up compared to what i paid last year $99 this yeat $167. When I asked about the difference in price I was told labor cost went up. I feel with the repair that was recommended they should have asked me if I wanted to hold off on the oil change but they didn't. They told me about the recommended repairs after the fact. Replacing the oil coolant, coolant reservoir, water pump and thermostat with a repair like that most likely the oil will get contaminated and will need an oil change at that time. The tech should have asked me if I like to hold off on the oil change until I complete the repairs. Very disappointed. read more

Based on my experience with other Audi dealerships this place oozes customer service from the initial call to the time I drove off of the lot. I worked from the dealership while my car was being serviced and it's plainly obvious this dealership is active, busy, and engaging. Why did I stop here? Passing through the area, I had a coolant light come on and I didn't want to drive back to VA and potentially cause any issues. So, I dropped it off to have it looked at. I had also reached out to some long-standing Audi friends and inquired about this dealership and the feedback they had was positive. I was told these guys are true enthusiasts and my car would be in good hands. That was 100% true. That morning, I received a call (from Andy Brandes the service advisor) who also shared a video assessment (from Reed Medsger the tech) which I thought was pretty cool. I've been to five Audi dealerships over my Audi owning years and this is the first time ever that I had received a video assessment. I love the transparency, I think it builds credibility and removes the mystery around what a mechanic sees for those who don't know much about cars. I do know quite a bit so this wasn't foreign to me but I think others would love it even more. This location is kept clean, by a very helpful, meticulous, energetic, and passionate woman who is also a fellow Capricorn. I could tell she has been there for a while and is well respected which meant a lot because I enjoyed speaking with her. While I worked, the staff checked on me, asked if I was hungry, and recommended a couple of places to eat. I took them up on the offer and walked around the corner to a place called Kid Shelleen's where the food was amazing. I came back, Andy updated me that the car is holding pressure strong and they didn't find any leaks, or fault code errors. They cleaned everything up, washed and got it ready. Before leaving, I was blessed with the pleasure of seeing some car porn in one of their car lounges...OMG!! The beautiful cars in there were insane. If you are into cars like I am, you should inquire to see what's in there. I don't even want to spoil it by sharing - you just have to see for yourself. Lastly, one of the things I like about this dealership is the transparency of who owns and runs the shop. Everyone has a profile on their site. That is something no other Audi dealership in VA has. I did not have this problem when I gave them my vehicle. I called them on Saturday to let them know about the issue. I purchased a car from carvanna recently and it happens to be an Audi which I purchased their warranty through them to take it to service shops and get checked out when issues arise at lower cost. However I have now been having issues with my Audi and have been told by the mechanic who looked at my vehicle I need to take it to Audi for them to diagnose and service a internal engine noise that they cannot pinpoint. I have also been leaking antifreeze which again the mechanic told me Audi needs to look at. I understand I did not purchase this vehicle through Audi directly but if my car is having a problem that I am told I need to get serviced or checked at their location I need some form of response or insight on what I need to do. I need a safe vehicle and I've always loved Audis and they have been in my family for a very long time. This is my first time owning one and I don't entirely have a problem at this rate I just really need some form of assistance in getting connected to someone who can further assist me in making my vehicle safe for my kids if it isn't currently. I wish I could review service separate from sales but I'll just average it out. Sales I wouldn't buy a car here unless I shop around and found a car tell the sales person what other dealers are offering. The discount isn't that much compared with other dealers. Even with Audi loyalty I don't think I got a good offer. But I don't blame them I would try and make a good cut too. Service is great here. Jeremy at the service desk is amazing, he's so nice and polite and I've been coming to this dealership for service since I move to Delaware. I used to bring my 13' A4 and they even advised me about my Audi Care package and when to buy it again. I now bring my 16' SQ5 here and they always take care of me. Although I bought it at a diff dealership I will always come here for service. I thought my rear seats were not folding down, I only checked the day I bought it in May, but Jeremy came out and showed me that they were fine I just had to pull the levers harder! On August 11, 2021, I was driving 500 miles from home in my 2015 Audi A7, and I desperately needed the service department of the Wilmington Audi dealership to spend 10 minutes manually checking the oil level, but I was told by the service coordinator that there was nothing they could do before the next available appointment on August 28. I explained that I was on the road, traveling from Bethany Beach to Rhode Island, that I had recently had my A7 serviced at my home dealership in Charlotte, NC, and that the car had just, for the third time, instructed me that the oil was low and to add a quart, which I had already done twice. I discovered online that a low oil message may come on if there is too much oil. What if my car had too much oil, and the car kept telling me to add more? There is no manual dipstick to check the oil level. Could they please help me? It was about 4:00 on a Wednesday. I explained the situation twice, feeling sure that the service coordinator's initial refusal to help could only be the result of her failing to fully appreciate my predicament. I offered to spend the night in a local hotel if they could just squeeze me in for a quick look some time the next morning. The car did not appear to be consuming or leaking any oil, and I couldn't imagine that the Charlotte dealership would leave the car over 2 quarts low. They'd just need to check the oil level manually and maybe remove (or add) some oil, or maybe determine that the oil wasn't the problem. Please. The lady insisted that they would not be able to see me before their next open appointment. Seriously? They want me to wait around for over two weeks for them to manually check my oil level? I bought a $72,000 car from an Audi dealership in Atlanta, and I had the maintenance performed religiously at my Charlotte Audi dealership, and now I'm on the road and I desperately need a few minutes from an Audi service department, and this Wilmington dealership wouldn't do anything to help me. So much for feeling like I'm a part of an Audi family. I drove to Rhode Island. I called the Audi dealership in Warwick on Saturday and explained the situation, and I asked if they could take a look on Monday, before I drove back to North Carolina. Without more, they offered to fit me in that afternoon. The service guy Mike was patient, thoughtful and attentive. After 15 minutes they took the car into the service bay. Another 15 minutes later and Mike said the car was ready to go. They checked the oil manually and removed almost 3 quarts of oil. Since I had added 2 quarts, it meant the Charlotte dealership had returned my car to me with almost a quart too much oil (along with the $950 bill - I wonder how much I paid for that excess oil). I was relieved that the problem was a simple one and was now fixed, and I asked how much I owed. Mike shook my hand and said it was gratis. What a difference between the two Audi dealerships. I wish that I lived close enough to the Warwick dealership to bring it my business. On the other hand, though I consider myself a man of generous spirit, I would not be saddened if the Wilmington dealership suffers a flood or fire or plague of biblical proportions. This dealer was Suggested to me. Two good friends of mine got their cars from them. They both got S8. Buying a car is always good and they make you feel like a King. I got my S5 from them. When my friends needs service they just call the dealer and dealer send them a rental and they bring the car to their office or home. Once the service is done. They bring their car back and take back the rental. Well I did not get the same service. I guess it depends on what you buy from them. I personally requested that once and they did not offered the same service. I guess $120K vs $60K made the difference. S5 has front break pad issues. It makes a lot of noise. I took it to service. Service Manager Chris told me to break hard. I asked him twice and he gave me the same answer. Noise did not go away. I went to service again and told Chris I did what you told me. He told me the same thing break hard. S5 is a sport car. Next time I was very sick. Having a lower back disk issue. They did not pick up the car. They refused my request again. Oil Change was done and Same Service Manager Chris called me and said your Break Disks were damaged and need to be replaced. They bill me almost $2000. Next week I took my Audi and went to West Chester Benz and trade in got a Mercedes. My strong Sugestion anyone who is leasing a car. If you are buying Tire Protection Plan make sure how many tires you can change. Apparently Audi Tire Warranty covers only Two Tires. Sales Teams are always good. Although I use Yelp in finding restaurants I very rarely use it for services. However, needing to confirm the travel time to Audi Wilmington (AW) from my home Yelp was convenient. On one hand I was surprised at not seeing more positive reviews posted but then realized people generally post comments when their expectations are not met. I can't comment on other people's experiences but can only provide comments as they relate to mine. And here AW's General Manager, Tom Mihok, is the most responsive and customer centric dealership leader I have every dealt with. In late 2016 I was using the internet to get competitive pricing on a new Q7. I sourced Audi stores in NJ, PA and MD in addition to AW. Most priced at full MSRP ($77K) with only one store in NJ and AW providing a similar discount. As the NJ store had cars on the lot I could compare regular and comfort seat features (back issues) I was set to order through them. However, on informing Tom of my decision he provided a counter offer that was truly unbelievable. When the car was finally delivered I refused to accept it as the interior finishes were factory mismatched. Needless to say Tom was not pleased but completely understood and refunded my deposit. Other general managers would probably not be as understanding. I did order a second Q7 and it was delivered as ordered. There were other interactions between us that has proven to me Tom values personal relationships as they promote repeat customers and referrals. I have referred two people myself. Tom is also hands on in addressing legitimate issues brought to his attention. My message is this. If you are not satisfied with the treatment you expected to receive contact Tom directly rather than, or in conjunction with, a negative Yelp posting. If you're seriously shopping and already have pricing from other stores contact Tom with the information and you'll be very surprised. AW is not perfect as individual employee performances can vary and, to paraphrase, past performance does not guarantee future results. It's great that they don't charge for labor or diagnostics and I like that their service reminder mailers come with a coupon for that specific service. They also wash your car for free after every visit. I usually wait for my car to be finished, so it's nice that they have a clean, cafe-esque waiting area, with free coffee, donuts (most mornings), flat screen tv, wi-fi, and simple leather chairs. Sales: drove 45 minutes to shop for a new car. After standing around for 15 minutes, viewing and sitting in showroom vehicles, with three salespeople passing right buy me, nobody even asked if I'd been helped. This was the second time I had been by, and the second time nobody offered assistance. The showroom was empty of other customers and I saw several employees sitting in offices by themselves. For a luxury car dealer, this is far below par of other dealerships I visited (Lexus, Mercedes, BMW...). Needless to say, I'd rather make a longer drive than visit this dealership again. read more
