Before my appointment, I asked twice--once by phone and again in person--whether the clinic had verified my insurance and what my total cost would be. Both times I was told that they had run my insurance and that my responsibility would only be my $40 specialist copay. After the appointment, I learned that the clinic billed my insurance using diagnostic audiology procedure codes instead of an office-visit code. This created a much higher bill and an unexpected balance of $56.73 that was never disclosed to me beforehand. I only found out after receiving my Explanation of Benefits. Trying to resolve the issue made things worse. My emails went unanswered, I was not given accurate billing contact information, and when the clinic finally called me, the staff member became argumentative, talked over me, and blamed my insurance company instead of addressing the discrepancy. It was unprofessional and extremely frustrating. Patients deserve accurate cost information, transparent billing, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, my experience at this clinic did not reflect those standards. I recommend getting all cost information in writing and being very cautious before scheduling here.

In the past, I dreaded going because I always left feeling disappointed, but now I leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful. Have a problem with left hearing aid. Unable to drive because legally blind. Had transportation…read moreyesterday and went to office at 11 AM and it was locked and no response to knocks. Called number on cell phone and left message....no return call all day. Tried calling again today with no response. Left another message. No note on door saying that they were no longer in business. No mail notification to current patients of any change of address or out of business notice. Name and hours still on door but no response. Very unprofessional. Now I have a non-functioning hearing aid and no means to get anywhere else to anothor audiologist.
