The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the lack of communication between staff and between staff to employee. I asked for a specific location for the push to start button and was told I would be called before they begin drilling any holes just to verify which was gonna be a huge plus. The only call I received was to say my car was ready which had me a bit worried. When the employee was showing me what he did I asked why I never received a call to verify the location before drilling he just told me he thought it would be a good spot so he did it. Then said if I wanted to move it there would now be empty holes in that spot which bugged me so I just kept it where he chose. Once leaving I noticed he even installed the wrong alarm. I asked for the viper alarm over the phone with a young lady, then a young man when I went to drop off the car, after I picked it up from the older gentleman I did not notice til I was driving off and looked at the box. Called and he made a long story about how it's the same alarm but different brand and said if I change it there would be holes still in my dash which would bother me since it's a car from the 90s and it's hard to get very clean parts. TLDR; Lack of communication and responsibility. Very clean work with little to no visible wires.

I took my new-to-me car to the shop yesterday for brighter headlights. My 2015 Nissan had amber headlights which only offered diffuse lighting for Monterey's oft foggy and unlit roadways. I wanted the opportunity to see and to be seen when I drive at night. The owner emailed me last month to let me know that his shop could install the lights for my budget & the process would take 30 minutes max - no appointment needed. I stopped by yesterday morning & was welcomed into the cleanest mechanic's shop I've ever seen. Not a speck of dust or drop of oil anywhere. Everything was spotless and freshly painted. The vehicle lighting displays were numerous & offered something for every customer. Of course, I'm sensible. The owner suggested that I add fog lights for additional safety while I'm driving and found a set that matched my budget. Done! Lights look great and will ensure that I see everything while I'm driving. I cancelled an appointment with them and drove 4 hours away to have IGLA installed and Compustar instead. I mainly wanted IGLA due to its features. Fast forward, I needed a rear dash camera (purchased off amazon; Neideso 360 dash camera set) installed into my camper shell and this company refused stating that "I had to go back to the people that installed my security system to have them install a rear dash camera". That is a lie. He was upset that I didn't use his company to install my after factory security system. This behavior shows a lack of emotional intelligence and poor customer service. People have after factory devices installed by different companies all the time.
