Had an alarm system installed with a push to start a year ago and still works pretty well. Wiring was done relatively well compared to other places I tried and I am satisfied with the job itself. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the lack of communication between staff and between staff to employee. I asked for a specific location for the push to start button and was told I would be called before they begin drilling any holes just to verify which was gonna be a huge plus. The only call I received was to say my car was ready which had me a bit worried. When the employee was showing me what he did I asked why I never received a call to verify the location before drilling he just told me he thought it would be a good spot so he did it. Then said if I wanted to move it there would now be empty holes in that spot which bugged me so I just kept it where he chose. Once leaving I noticed he even installed the wrong alarm. I asked for the viper alarm over the phone with a young lady, then a young man when I went to drop off the car, after I picked it up from the older gentleman I did not notice til I was driving off and looked at the box. Called and he made a long story about how it's the same alarm but different brand and said if I change it there would be holes still in my dash which would bother me since it's a car from the 90s and it's hard to get very clean parts. TLDR; Lack of communication and responsibility. Very clean work with little to no visible wires. read more

I went to this place to rewire a powered sub I had put in and figure out why the volume would go up and down by itself. I also inquired about having an amp installed to run all the inside speakers. When I got my car back they didn't even rewire it. It was the same and actually sounds worse now with the speaker just humming for no reason when the car is off. He also said he would contact me about the amp install and I still have yet to gear from him. It's been a month now. If you don't want to work on my car just say that please. Don't BS me. Horrible service. When I first went in to they wouldn't even look at the car until my actual appointment day. Couldn't even just walk out and see what I had or wanted. I had my Harley worked on here an the work was terrible ! My windshield is missing 2 nuts an its loose ... the wiring was done sloppy that you can see it between the bags an wheel. The rub seal that was nice an tight is now loose and not on correctly on my fairing. There's gaps in the speaker housing. I rate the work a 3/10. They couldn't set the equalizer for a good sound. Before coming to Mobile Audio, I visited 2 other shops for an estimate to install a vehicle security system on a 2019 Ford Transit work utility van. The first 2 shops didn't come across as confident in taking on the job. They both said they needed to do some research and they would call me with an estimate. I never heard from them. Mobile Audio was polite, confident, professional, and informative. They gave me an estimate on the spot. After the installation they came across some technical difficulties due to the vehicle being the latest model and the change in the vehicles wiring and systems but they had the resources, knowledge, and experience to work through it. They made all the corrections with no questions asked. My system which includes pins on all the tool boxes, remote start, remote paging, and GPS tracking is working perfect. I looked at this place, browsed their website and they have a price match guarantee. I call them up and let them know I have a shop in San Jose that will wire my 4 channel amp for $75 and $29 for wiring. They would not match it and their costs was almost twice as much. I took my 96 Ford F150 and an aftermarket remote locking system to Ruben this week. His team installed it and I left with only 1 of the 2 remote key fobs working. When I discovered that the other key fob was not working I took the truck back in the next day. Ruben personally took time from another job to get it working for me. Turned out it needed a new battery that he replaced and both key fobs now work. I recommend Ruben and his team at Mobile Audio to do any kind of auto wiring and installation. First of all you call what I paid you for as free? I asked for a decently dynomatted or in this case fatmatted trunk for which I provided plenty of to at least stop the rattle enough so I can turn the bass up to my personal preference.. (which more than half of it was left aside instead of simply slapping it on (anywhere would have been more beneficial than not using what was provided just like all the cables and wires that I provided for both amps which was supposed to be at a zero gauge instead of the 4 gauge I found instead) also I expected to be able to use the eq on the fix86 but instead you guys want me to come back and have you do it for a fee as it seems and do what I should get to do on my own laptop as seen all over YouTube by run of the mill owners of the fix86 software and not just authorized salesman. I also specifically asked for a big three upgrade and instead I got a mal connected poor excuse of what looked like a big one ground upgrade that just didn't make any sense to me but the worse part was the missing zero gauge positive wire upgrade that should have been replacing the stock alternator wire (which was also supposed to be connected directly into my isolator so that it could work properly) and to top it off the one ground wire (not 2 as usually in a big 3 upgrade) was never sanded at the base: causing both batteries from the trunk and the under the hood to fail. And yes I don't need advice when it comes to equipment thank you that's why I invested so much and purchased the isolator that nobody bothered to do any research on apparently because it's not even connected properly (due to the fact that I wasn't aware of a specific installation kit that I didn't get.. but if you're the expert then why didn't you bother to get one or at least put one together yourself since it's just a matter of putting together the wires needed to do it.. though I did provide the positive 100% copper wire to at least power it.. (which was also left aside) the outcome of this was a much less than working isolation system or otherwise I would have had a better chance at keeping my batteries in good condition beyond a year instead of having all these issues after less than a 9 month period. Now Sam Linder Honda is refusing to honor the extended warranty I paid a considerable amount for because they expect you to keep everything stock even when you're not voiding the warranty by simply bypassing it wisely (which was the only reason I paid "professionals" to do the installation in the first place because if I had done it myself then I wouldn't have been so careless especially with the bad ground wire on the main battery circuit that is supposed to not only power the system but to properly charge both batteries instead of letting them drain rapidly with a poor ground) Also I am inclined to see about this in person but not if you're going to antagonize me and be rude just as your employees and even the receptionist were with their extremely rude remarks and sarcasm. Not to mention, you're saying that I didn't pay you for everything that I had lent and should have been included in the initial estimate.. maybe if you hadn't left my car sitting for a whole day you could've had enough time to finish everything that I asked and paid for. So unless you're interested in fixing these mistakes before they cost me even more money in damages to batteries etc.? I'm not sure I would want to go in person again. I still have a non functional isolator that's not connected properly and a big 3 upgrade that's not done at all and a bass/volume knob that I had you guys install for sound adjustment on the fix 86. If that could be fixed without being charged twice and if you can replace the stock battery that I had under the hood which no longer works.. I'll definitely stop by ASAP read more

The sub would cut out tons of times during each song!!!!! I took it here and it was fixed within 20 minutes!!! Lol. I was so happy to get my sub working again!!!! Amazing job!!! Allow me to Outline my experience that you'll have. If you actually want to buy a stereo from the store, you'll find they markup everything by 30%-40%. You can find better prices in 5 min, on Amazon. It took them forever to start and complete my project. They did a good job at custom installing the stereo. And while they were pretty flexible, and allowed for changes, they loomed every single wire, in a separate loom, and tacked an extra hour of labor. Not to mention they scratched up pieces of my dash that had to be removed for install. When I confronted the owner about the damage, he said that he would take care of it, but by that point I was so frustrated about how the job was handled, I wanted nothing to do with this place. So I told them, to remove one of those hours of labor, I'll forget about the damage. He said fine, and I was gone. I thought that was the end of it. It wasn't. I went to a different shop to install a light bar, and they turned me away, They said go back to Mobile Audio & Cellular. The owner of Mobile Audio & Cellular had called them and told them how they were unhappy at me, and told them to not deal with me. read more

They were able to answer all my questions, and get my speakers switched out in like 15-20 minutes (maybe even faster than that). I paid about $120 for two car door speakers and installation.
