went this morning looking for upgrade basick bluetooth stereo, guy looks at my truck inside and says installed $300 new alpine single din, i give the go ahead and as im waiting for uber, the installer asks for me to talk to the owner of stereo shop, after 10 minutes of waitin on uber, he then says it will cost $900-1000 instead because its a Ford? I've come to this place twice. First time for an new alarm system and the second for a new headset. Daniel is very knowledgable and doesn't try to up sell you something you don't need. And his prices are unbelievably low. Each time he quoted me a price for both jobs I had to repeat the price just to make sure I wasn't imagining things. The guy works insanely fast too. And I have not had any problems with any of the work that he put in my car. Daniel was knowledgeable and had solid recommendations. I was a bit picky on the set up I wanted for my truck but he was willing to make me happy and configure as such. The subwoofer case he quoted me was causing the sub to touch the back of the seat with each bass note and he spent the time to custom build a box for me. He was so concerned about the longevity of the sub that he went the extra mile without trying to jack me on price. The way he handled the entire install showed his dedication and work ethic. His prices were fair and he was timely on completion. The new system sounds amazing and is exactly what I needed. I plan on taking my other two cars there for upgrades when I am able. read more

Daniel is an honest guy and works fast. I needed to replace my factory stereo that came with my 2009 Mazda 5. For several years the 6 CD changer wasn't working and it made this annoying noise every time I started my car. I got a quote for a stereo replacement in santa cruz, for about $580. Ouch. Since I have family in Hollister and am there all the time I checked him out on yelp. $280 for the same thing. Now I have a nicely installed Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and Auxiliary connectivity for a much more reasonable price. This also included the steering wheel controls! He wouldn't sell me a foot of speaker wire. I feel like these reviews are very misleading. He told me to go to auto-zone instead to buy speaker wire. Customer service isn't his strong suite. Very unfortunate. I remember buying red power wire from him a few years back I bought almost 20ft. It was by the foot. I would give him one star but that isn't fair just cause I remember our transaction a few years back I also remember a young guy with him to. . His explanation was he has good quality speaker wire for his personal use. If I wanted to bring my car in for some type of car installation he uses nothing but the best speaker wire. I had mentioned to him that's why I didn't want to go to Autozone I rather pay for top dollar for a foot of speaker wire. I was practically pleading with him to sell me some wire. I guess Amazon, eBay, or a trip to Salinas it is. Thanks Daniel for your time to explain why you can't sell me high quality wire. Bes of luck to you and your future endeavors. Happy Customer!!! Daniel removed an old broken car alarm from my Honda and replaced it with a brand new car alarm. He is very knowledgeable on car alarms and did an excellent job with the install. He didn't charge me extra to remove the old car alarm and the spaghetti of wires that he had to identify and remove. This place is on my way home on Third st an McCray when I pass by this place they seen to be busy and I need it a radio. I started to ask around if this place was good and several people told me that this is one of the best places around the bay area for stereo installation. I still did check for prices in Gilroy and San Jose but I decided to check out this place in Hollister and they install a CD player with Bluetooth for less than $200 with labor and taxes now I don't have to even used any connector's or adaptors my stereo connects to my phone automatically is great for music and cell phone calls thanks Daniel for a great work. read more
