The amp that was placed under my seat caused it to break the driver system that controlled the left rail on my driver power seat when I had moved the seat all the way forward. Now this took a whole year before I moved the seat forward that far. I immediately took my car up to the them. Robert and Alec were extremely apologetic and were quick to have a solution to getting my seat fixed/replaced and amp moved. I could tell they were shocked that my car was given to me without the clearance being checked. They replaced the motor and rail system under my seat and moved the amp. Their customer service has always been great with both experiences. This shop is super knowledgeable and worth your time and money. My family has used Audio Midwest for basically all of our car/home audio stuff for years now. I seriously couldn't have been happier with how they outfit my Scion FRS sound system. The surround sound in our home theater is incredible!! Not to mention our living room downstairs, which has a simplified version that still sounds fantastic. If they do make an error, they do their best to fix it in a timely manner. They had a new guy mess up my brother's truck system and they completely fixed it soon after it was discovered. The guy recommended a tuner for my serious radio I said ok great. Then he said he can connect my phone to the stereo I said no. He hooked up phone stereo put in microphone for it did not install tuner. I took it back paid more to get tuner installed. He said 10 am on Thursday it would take 45 minutes. My truck has been there since March 4, 2022. 7 months, still not anywhere near done. Robert put in writing on the ticket that the entire custom interior of my truck would be done by mid May. It is now mid OCTOBER and They took $8500 down and custom door panels with custom speaker housing doesn't even fit the speakers. It couldn't be worse. read more

Took my car in to get a subwoofer installed. About an hour and a half after I got my car back my A/C started violently glitching and then just stopped working. Tried to go back to the guy and let him know but he wanted to charge 45 for a diagnostic which was a complete lie. It turns out he messed with my wiring so bad that it had caused a $1,400 fix at the dealership. Never ever EVER go to this location. The shop is shady and this place is horrible. The owner is a huge jerk and made me feel stupid the entire time I was there. All he cares about is money. Not customer service, not making things right, not doing quality work. They got me in right away, and my sound system has had no problems in the past 3 years. They installed the mic for bluetooth, and the bass knob exactly where I wanted them. Avoid this place at all costs. First, they will try to upsell you into equipment you don't need. I went in to have an Amp and 4 speakers installed. They quoted me $400 about at or just above what a couple of other place were quoting me. I went with them because they were close to where I lived. I went in on the install day and explained what I wanted done. The installer said it wasn't very smart and that I "needed" this $700 piece of equipment to make it sound perfect. I reluctantly agreed and dropped off my truck. When I went to pick it up my $400 install cost had jumped $500 and they charged me $120 for "tuning my stereo" and $80 worth of RCA cables. I was not expecting a bill of $1464.30. I was in a hurry and took the vehicle anyway (it was Halloween and I had kids to take Trick or Treating). Second, this $700 piece of "amazing" equipment that I absolutely had to have, made my stereo sound like crap and I was absolutely disgusted with the way it sounded. I bypassed this "high quality Digital Sound Processor" and it sounded 1000x times better. So I took back this piece of garbage and the RCA cables. They did refund the money for the DSP and cables, but after a lengthy and heated conversation with the manager, they would not refund my $120 in tuning costs. So basically I paid these jokers $706.57 to install 1 Amp, 4 speakers, and 1 RCA cable. As you can see from previous posters, most are completely disgusted with these guys. Our son brought his car here to get speakers put in. After leaving the speakers and radio worked for about 10 min and then stopped. My son then had to bring the car back after the weekend to get it looked at. They called and said it was working. Again, stopped working after about 10 min. The customer service is less that desirable. The worker said it was working when he left. Maybe it is a faulty speaker. If this is true then why aren't we being told that for sure so that it can be handled. Why aren't you offering to do whatever to rectify the situation for a job that has been paid for. Instead we are having to pay someone else to fix this issue. The stereo was fine when we brought it in and now nothing works. Is this a company that takes advantage because a teenager brought it in instead of us. Do they treat all customers this way? Rob is the owner of the store. You should be worried about your customer service and handling customers that have paid for a job. Yes, the speakers are in, but what good does it do if they don't work??
