I have a Jeep Cherokee Latitude and took it to Bob Poynter Jeep in Seymour who said they had to ship the radio off for repair and it would two weeks and cost $850. My experience at this place was OK. Before you go here I would recommend price comparing. They do offer price matching under certain specific circumstances. I had a new radio installed in my truck and the installation was OK. Nothing earth moving. The radio looks good. However, customer service and communication could be improved. For example, my appointment was never confirmed and after my radio was installed, there are features that do not work. I am not sure if it is because there are not compatible with my vehicle, it needs another part, or was installed incorrectly. That should have been explained to me when I picked up my truck. Maybe I am spoiled, but. Should have also got a call, text or email confirming y appointment. When I got there they were not even expecting me. Also, keep in mind that due to COVID, you cannot wait in the store for your vehicle and there are no public rest rooms. I am not saying this place is awful. They will get the job done. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and great to deal with. The store is laid out nicely, with a large selection of audio equipment and accessories for cars, boats, motorcycles and UTV's. My drive there and back is a little over 100 miles, but well worth the trip. I would much rather deal with a great small business that is focused on customer service, than some big box store that hires kids to make sales. This is a good place to go if you want new speakers, subs, or even amps for your vehicle. They have just about everything. My dad bought me a new set of 4 speakers (alpine speakers) for my car for my birthday and they work great! The staff are friendly too and they did a great job installing them. But the reason I gave them 3 stars is because when I got my car home was because they didn't clean up the mess they made. I had some sort of grease on my passenger door. I was displeased with that but they did a great job with everything else. If you do go here I recommend that you look over your door panels before you leave just to make sure that they are clean. read more

Audio Source has a very nice selection of car stereo receivers/DVD players, as well as some boat receivers. Nice selection of speakers and Sub woofers and Sub boxes along with several different amps with all the power you will need. The store is laid out nicely and looked clean. They seemed to have everything in stock as well. I was helped pretty quickly and was not pushed to buy anything. They knew what all was compatible that I was looking at. I haven't looked into stereo systems in a long time, but the prices seemed OK to me. I already had a system in my vehicle so it was an easy job to replace everything. They did a nice job of installing everything and explained my radio to me when they were finished. Friendly service, quality work and got me an appointment quickly(which happened to be my birthday). Only negative thing I have to say is that for how much they charged to install everything, they did not clean up their mess. Would I go back? Yes...would I refer a friend? Absolutely the worst experience you could have. Avoid this place at all cost. Went in with an amp error on my cd player, guy comes out and says it's all fixed but my speakers were crappy and quoted me 390$ to replace them. I told him no I just needed the cd player working. He said he would go get my car came back 25 minutes latter I paid him and got in the car 30 seconds latter my cd player quit working and the same error came up. Absolutely worthless audio place. Did not do what they said and charged me anyways.it was clear they just wanted the extra money for speakers. Drove it right down the road and it was fixed in minutes.
