We finally got lucky with Uhaul and ended up at Gustafson's in Clearlake but we decided to ask the guy there (Joel) if he knew a good mechanic in the area. We really didn't think it would be possible to find a mechanic that would drop everything and replace our alternator in less than an hour but Jim made it happen! It was very important for us to get to Lincoln by a certain time, we figured we'd ask and if it was a no, we would rent the Uhaul and leave our car overnight. They were so nice. I had picked up a nail. They did not need to replace my tire nor did they try to convince me to do anything I did not need done. They simply fixed my tire. The price was super reasonable. Now it did take a minute because I was without a reservation and they had other customers, but the staff was so nice I did not care. They had a nice waiting area and that place, for a tire shop is clean. I was very happy. I am now a fan of Big O Tires.
