However, 2025 August the tint on the back windshield started to peel, so I tried to take it there for the warranty, and they told me that they no longer use that tent, so I had to go to Blackout Window Tinting in Petaluma and they would honor the warranty. I was originally told it would be done same day and then he told me he couldn't get the tint off so he would need my car another day. This was a little bit inconvenient since I needed my car for work, but I ended up borrowing my parents. It ended up taking three days and my car smelled of ammonia afterwards. What really frustrates me is that all of the fine lining that your car needs to defrost the back windshield was ripped off. I noticed it months later not realizing that is why my rear windshield defroster was no longer working. I did some research on the Internet and found out that it was most likely during the scraping of the windshield tint that all of those fine electric filaments were ripped off. This was not mentioned to me, though after the service and I learned the hard way. When I reached out to John, I got no response. I can't afford to repair that on my car since the entire lining was ripped up. Pictures are included. Not good business.

I have done more research and left a review. After the compustar t13 remote start and alarm…read moreinstallation that Wicked Sounds, aka dfm, did for me, I returned because the auto arming and proximity release of the alarm failed. First, the business is an authorized Compustar dealer, but not a pro dealer. Thus, apparently they are not authorized to purchase or install the T13. I am told the errors I have are likely due to error on installation. Compustar has a lifetime warranty, but since they are not PRO installers of the T13 PRO, I have to find a PRO to fix. In the meantime, the business says it works when your here the day it is installed thus not their problem. Conclusion, go to Sacramento for the install at a PRO, because using them leaves vulnerable to the scam that you have no warranty because of their ignorance in proper installation of the PRO product. All this information is kept secret from the customer. I am still trying to fix the defective install and Danny said he washed his hands of me and the install. Keep in mind I suffered intense gaslighting where they record you in front of the cash register and the staff stands outside of the view and acts abusingly and falsely blames you for the breaking the product when you use the product as it is to be used This is a disturbing experience. I have alerted Compustar regarding the situation.
