Was really excited to eat there tonight. It's usually closed by the time we can get there. Came in with a group of women after an event. We were a little unsure how many were coming, but 5/6/7ish. The tall guy was so impatient with our group and seating that several of the ladies were upset and did not want to stay. 2 of them had never been. They barked away 7 customers tonight. At least 3-4 of those will never go back. Pretty uncool for customer service. Having recommended it, I was embarrassed...won't offer that idea again, that's for sure! read more

Had dinner there last week and it was a disappointing experience. They do not have enough staff waiting on tables. One server for the whole restaurant is asking a lot of even for a decent server. Our server was very bothered ( honestly rude) by our requests for a dinner salad we did not receive or a side of ranch. The bus boy was helpful in getting all the items we needed. The server never came back to check on us. The food is good, but service is very poor. Hopefully, they hire another server to create a better experience. read more

Waited 1 hour for a 4 top table and they seated a party of 3 who arrived 1/2 hour after we did. Decided to leave when treated rudely after complaining to the owner. All he could say was "what do do you want me to do?" He should have explained to the party that just got seated that they made a mistake and the table belongs to another party that was here first. Online noted that Augie's was open on Sunday. Well, the dining room didn't open until 4 p.m. every day. This was our first time here. The restaurant is family owned, and the dining room is very nice. It had a modern decor with a large wine display up front. We'll have to come back for the eat-in experience. Today, we had to order a pizza to go. There is a bench to sit and wait, which we did. People kept coming in for pickup. The place was busy with carry outs, so we knew the pizza was going to be really good. The cashier was very helpful between customers and the phone ringing. Staff may have been sparse, but they kept everything moving well. Our pizza with crust, sauce and toppings was delicious. If you stop in you can pick up a to-go menu. read more

Arrived around 5:30PM to dine in. There were three of us. There were already two parties waiting at the host stand. I assumed they had already been helped, but after waiting about five minutes, found that that was not the case. An employee (seemed like a manager) finally came over to the host stand asked each of the parties how many and sat the first two parties. Then...nothing. Kept standing by the host stand expecting the employee to either come back to take us to a table or to tell us that we'd have to wait. He did neither. We sat down and waited another 15 minutes, but it felt like we had been straight up forgotten, so we left. It's a shame, because their pizza is quite good but not good enough to tolerate poor customer service. read more

This place is freaking amazing they have the best and most amazing Gluten Free pizza and their toppings are so fresh! My friend didn't and couldn't even tell the pizza was gluten free! I didn't even tell him he just started eating the pizza and said it was the best pizza he has ever had and the sauce was amazing no wonder this place had won best sauce! I have had Augie's quite a few times over the years, often at gatherings as people in the area swear by them. They are not my usual go to in the area because their style of pizza isn't my favorite, but if it's style it is great if that makes sense. The sauce is a bit bland for me, but again, a lot of people love it. Their cutting style is atypical but fun because it leaves a few options for those that don't like crust. We did pickup since it's only a few minute drive, and the pizza was hot and the staff is very friendly. Be sure to give Augie's a try!!! read more

I haven't ordered pizza from anywhere in a while and after reading reviews, felt that Audie's would be a great place to try, regardless of the 25-min drive to pick up. Upon arriving around 7pm, there were quite a few tables that were full and a decent carryout order line. It was looking hopeful. However, I found upon eating, that it was very much like Teresa's and any other flavorless but thick-cheesed pizza place in the area. Supremely disappointing that I found myself having to add seasonings to make it reasonably good. read more

We ordered take out on their website. The process was pretty easy, but the result not so much. I ordered white sauce and when we got home, there was red sauce on the pizza. It probably would have been really good with the white sauce, but a bit of a disappointment as it turned out. read more

This was a little gem we found out there in the wild. This place was short staffed, but we were patient and just waited it out. Besides we had nothing better to do anyways. This pizza is delicious. We tried "The Regular". Pepperoni under the cheese, pepperoni in the cheese, pepperoni on top of the cheese, and double cheese. OK we love our cheese and pepperoni pizza. Who doesn't. The pizza was well baked. Crisp bottom and crust, not too much browning of the cheese, pepperoni just starting to curl up and crisp up the edges. The middle of the pie was perfectly cooked. The sauce has a little zing in it, just to let you know it is there. Fantastic little pizza. Well, I took that home after the meal. :-) Just because I really wanted to try that pizza. I also tried the lasagna. That was really good. It was a nice balance of noodle to sauce, to sausage, and cheese.... and a whole bunch more ingredients. It also tasted very fresh. Like they made a pan of it just for me. It did not taste like it was ever frozen. Nicely done Augie's. The Wife and Boy tried the pasta with meatballs. They seemed to really enjoy that. The sauce was very good. They didn't let me near a meatball, so I can't tell you about them. Which probably means they loved it. I enjoyed looking at the bourbon selection, something you do not see from a local pizza place. I was a little jelly when an ultra rare bourbon was being offered to another table. It was my first visit, and I would hate to know what he paid for a shot of it. So, I'm not that jelly. read more

One area I would recommend improvement on is the continual yelling, and barking of orders. The interior provides a "homelike" ambiance but the aforementioned issues really disrupts the feeling. It was like being on Hells Kitchen. Support passion but tone it down! read more

I ordered 3 pizzas here tonight (1 cheese, 1 pepperoni, one Hawaiian). They were all bad and sloppy but the Hawaiian one especially was COMPLETELY uneatable. It was sloppy garbage. And when I went in there I noticed the entire kitchen was run by what looked like high schoolers who could care less about what they are doing. Such a rip off pizza. Service was good. Food was bland and child's portion at full price. Meatball dry and tasteless. Have tasted better pizza out of a box. The kicker was when our split-check party left, management sent the waiter outside after us to see if one party didn't pay (our party paid earlier and went back to the table). Luckily I asked for a receipt, which I took back inside to be told that everything was okay- they found the paid bill. Note to manager (from one manager to another): Great way to alienate customers by not doing your job and sending your staff instead. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

Great for takeout! We got sausage pizza, uncle pasta salad, and 10 garlic Parmesan wings for takeout and were so thrilled with our dinner!! The uncle pasta salad was so good- it features lettuce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, olives, tomatoes and banana peppers and was literally amazing! The large pizza was cut into 12 big pieces and had a nice thick crust. Wings were amazing too! We had so much fun getting takeout from Augies for our Saturday night dinner date!! read more

Food at Augies is always great however we went there tonight and nobody even acknowledged us to seat us at a table - I asked the kids behind the the counter and he told us to go stand by the hostess stand we waited 5 minutes and not one person addressed us. The wings were really good here. The margarita pizza was pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the cheese pizza was pretty dry and hard. But I hear really good things about this place and I am willing to try again. read more

Go there frequently for pizza, wings, etc. Had went in today (approximately 5:00 to 5:15 pm) to purchase a pizza... had placed my order, and subsequently canceled my order.... my reason for canceling... noted a young male employee that was cooking the pizza scooping handfulls of cheese and pizza condiments into his mouth... no handwashing was noted in between his tasting condiments..... additionally, condiments were falling from his mouth back onto the counter and condiment container... this is unacceptable!!!!!
