My parents like this pizza place so we decided to get it for New Years Eve last night. We ordered online and picked it up. It was ready about 15 minutes earlier than what they said. We tried: - Ranch Potato Skin Pizza - The Dolce Picante Pizza - The Maui Wowii Pizza The potato skin pizza was hands down my favorite. It was a very unique flavor combination for a pizza and I loved it. The dolce picante was also pretty good. I like that they let you do half & half on their pizzas, even if the two you pick have different sauces. The Maui Wowii needed a sauce. It comes with garlic butter sauce, but that is really not enough of a sauce. We covered it in ranch and that made it better. I'd say this is the best pizza I've had recently in Solon. Next time we want pizza when we're visiting my parents, I'm sure we'll be back here. read more

I don't know WHAT the hell everybody else is talking about but i never even heard of Antonio pizza until I worked for Mytee. they ordered lunch for the employees, I tried, the buffalo chicken, steak, and the bell pepper and onion sausage, and I BLOWN away !!! I had a Detroit style 3 topping 8 slice pizza which was on the menu for $19.95 and the girl told me on the phone the total was going to be $28.95. We'll the driver gets to the door and tells me the total was $34.95 and with the tip i gave him $40.00. First off the pizza was excellent but $40.00 for an 8 slice pizza, never again! read more

Should be 3 1/2 stars Pizzas were ready at quoted time. Pepperoni pizza was good & the pepperoni had a nice crispy edge to each bite. Portabella Philly was just so so... looked nothing like the pictures & had minimal meat...won't get again. Today we decided to get chicken and fries and although it was tasty the chicken did not taste like chicken. The fries were also really good. But Upon delivery, the driver invaded our privacy by coming into our driveway which we do not allow anyone on driveway. I saw many flaws but I like the food but today the staff were very unprofessional including the delivery driver. Please retrain your staff and your delivery drivers or get new ones. Beware if you ordering delivery from this place because they will not respect your privacy. If you want chicken and pizza this place is not for you, Avoid if possible and go somewhere else. If you want pizza delivery, avoid if possible. I recommend going and picking it up yourself. But go somewhere else if you want pizza delivery. read more

First time purchasing a pizza from Solon Antonio's. The Dolce Picante was bland. Barely any sauce and the cupped sausage was so well done it had no flavor. Ordered a large and now sorry I did. First time at Antonio's pizza and first pizza in a long time. This was a quick lunch on the spot. This location is good, they have pizza ready (3 flavors at all time : pepperoni, sausage and cheese). They also offer a lunch special with a slice of pizza, drink and salad. The slice size is definitely worth it and make the lunch. They can adjust the salad based on what you like, which makes it great. You have 2 tables available inside and 2 outside. We enjoyed the outside ones in the sun, it was really nice. Regarding the quality of the food, I would still put it under fast food category. It was good and not expensive, but not an experience I would go out of my way for. Another fantastic pizza place in Solon! We love the pizza here but we seem to always get the Italian chicken nuggets and also the Stromboli. All of the food is super fresh and the sauce is, hands down, my favorite. In addition, to this, they have such great homemade salads and we always get the Greek, Cobb, and Antipasto. Everytime we order pizza from this place they get it wrong. We're done with them. The Solon location's disaster for today started when I arrived for pick up of a 216 Sicilian. The clerk said they dropped the first one so I had to wait an extra 15 minutes after a 35 minute order in advance. No offer for a discount or free pizza. I got the pie home to find out it was made wrong. I asked for a standard 216 with no cheese on half. I expressly told the order taker that hold the cheese only - everything else was fine with the toppings. What we got was cheese on the whole pizza and no toppings on half. Received a catering order. Chicken piccata and pasta was good, Pizza was over done and very dry. Salad had many brown leaves of lettuce and the salad dressing was not delivered with the food delaying the serving. As it turned out by the time the salad dressing was received our guests were already taking salad and using the salad dressing that we had around the house We had previously ordered food from them for other family parties and this was the first time we were dissatisfied. Very disappointed in the service. We ordered online and I accidentally put in the wrong number. We're at a hotel, so easily fixable by asking the front desk to call us. The driver didn't ask the front desk to call our room according to the hotel, so by the time things were sorted out 2.5 hours after ordering it was cold. The concerning part is I called to confirm my phone number was correct because it did not show up on the confirmation email - turns out I called after the delivery was already made. Nobody told me it had been delivered or was out for delivery. The person i spoke with also confirmed they had the correct number although I know they did not as the number they actually had was printed on the receipt. This was a recommendation by a local relative, which makes it even more disappointing. Will not order this again. read more

Saturday night 10/18/20: Nothing good. Ordered the original crust pizza. Texture, toppings and taste very bad. For the price we expected a Farinacci or Sirna type pizza This was worse than Dominos but a tad better than Little Caesars. Wings: The skin was rubbery and they use some sort of weird cloudy buffalo sauce. Salad: There had to be 2 huge handfuls of cooked, dried out pepperoni on it. Please read this in your head in an angry seething tone. Tonight, my family ordered pizza as a treat for ourselves. We love the taste of Antonio's, so we chose this particular location in Solon. However, when our order arrived, it was wrong. This was an irritation, but nothing to make me swear off the establishment. My next step was obviously to call Antonio's and let them know about the mistake. I was offered no apology and no compensation. I asked for a replacement pizza, to which I was told ok. I paused, then asked how long that would take. The man said about another hour or hour and fifteen minutes.... I balked a little at this since I only live 15 minutes away. I asked to not be charged for the pizza since it was going to be such an inconvenience for us. The man agreed. At this point, I decided to pass the time by going grocery shopping. I was out for over an hour and a half. When I got back, my husband informed me that the replacement pizza had still not arrived. NOW I was upset. I didn't even bother to take my boots and coat off before calling Antonio's. A young girl answered and I told her that I needed to speak with her manager due to a problem with my order. I gave her a brief summary of the issues, and that I wanted to cancel the replacement pizza, and get a full refund on my whole order. She was very pleasant and put me on hold. She then came back on the line to say that her manager was busy and she could take my information. She apologized and I told her that I won't take this out on her but that I won't be ordering again either. Overall, they get your order wrong (this wasn't the first or even second time for that), the customer service was terrible (except for the second girl), the manager made someone else handle a disgruntled customer, and I am not entirely convinced that the replacement pizza was ever sent out. read more

This time I tried the chicken Portobello sub and a pepperoni Sicilian. The sub was beyond dry not even mayo could help it. And the pizza was just okay. In their defense it was a busy night due to the cavs being on and the delivery lady was very nice. Friday night is always busy at pizza shops, including Antonios in Solon. Last night was no exception, and I am happy to see a booming small business. But last night I saw a complete failure of customer service and a collapse of covid protocol. The owner and management team needs a complete overhaul of how to manage a busy evening, crowds, and covid. Our pizza that was supposed to be ready for pickup at 6:54 wasn't ready until 7:40. Normally a long wait isn't a big deal, and kind of expected on a Friday night. But the lobby area was packed with 8-12 people waiting. If you've been there, you know that that's way too may for social distancing. Plus everyone lingered waiting patiently for at least 20 -30 minutes. There was no ability to social distance. Where was the manager to streamline the lobby crowd? Who allowed this to happen? What happened to letting us know pizza would take longer? What about asking us to wait outside? What about concern for employees being subjected to all these people? What happened to curbside pickup which was not being used? Where was the statement "Wait in your car and we'll bring it out" or "Wait in your car and we'll text you when your order is ready"? Solon residents: there was a women hiding in this lobby crowd with out a mask. Who does that 1 year into a pandemic? And in a tiny crowded lobby? I told the manager and she took that one failure seriously and asked the women to leave or get a mask. Zipping up your hood isn't a mask. Antonio's is getting lazy. We are all suffering from covid fatigue and we all want our life back, but this went beyond relaxing of standards - this was a management failure and an utter collapse of crowd control at a time when it's paramount. I gave 2 stars because I could see in kitchen and the teenagers in kitchen along with the delivery folks were hustling and working hard. read more

After 4 years I finally found a pizzeria near Streetsboro that my husband enjoyed as much as Angelo's on the westside. Angelos will always be his #1 spot, but he didn't complain about his pizza I picked up from Antonio's. I went here after Googling several pizza joints in or near Streetsboro area. Trust me we've tried them all, sooner or later he's disappointed by them. I got his usual small pizza with pepperoni, extra sausage, lite onions, lite pizza sauce, and well done. I ordered myself 6 pieces of pepperoni rolls w/cheese. My only complaints were his pizza slices were a little small. Thats the only reason why I gave them 3 stars. He liked the crust, he said it had a sweet taste to it. He said to continue getting his weekly Friday night pizza from here unless I feel like going to Angelos for a treat. read more

At a whopping $2.25 per topping (on a medium, adjust for a small or large), I'd consider saving the extra $5 and running over to market district to get my own vegetables. Great pizza! We were a little skeptical due to previous reviews. However we decided to give it a shot having gotten tired of getting the same old pizza places around. And we were very happy that we did. Crust was nice a fluffy sauce was season just enough and had the right amount on the pizza and good toppings. Stopped in there for lunch today and I have to say- I couldn't believe it. 4 people behind the counter absolutely let me stand there for over 5 minutes. 1 person was making a pizza and was chatting with another and the other two people did nothing. I would understand if they were busy- but every one of them looked right at me and continued doing nothing. Very disappointed and won't go back there. While having a large variety of toppings is good .If your sauce and crust are not good it does not matter what toppings you put on it. This is the case here .The sauce is bland with similarities to boxed pizza brands. While there crust is not bad the sauce makes this pizza very poor. When I moved a year ago we would get antonios all the time. Great pizza, amazing wings, everything cooked to perfection. Lately every time I order Hopi for that amazing experience I am sadly disappointed. The wings looked DISGUSTING, inedible. The pizza terrible too and it's the most expensive pizza place in town. Today was the first time trying their food. We thought the one pound of fries with Ray's N Amazin' Sauce sounded interesting so we ordered it. Unfortunately, when we got home we had fries but no Ray's Sauce. We live 30 minutes away so didn't consider going back so I can't tell you if it was amazing or not. Darn. Also ordered 2 pizzas which were okay. And a large Greek salad. They asked if I wanted the home made Italian or Greek dressing. I chose the homemade Italian. I asked if they put it on or if it was on the side. On the side was the reply. Again, wish I could tell you how it was but when we got home and opened all the boxes and stapled bag there was no salad. Also ordered a stromboli which we haven't tried yet. I called and asked to speak to the Manager who apologized and said she would take the salad price off of our bill (paid by credit card). We would rather have had salad.
