This is moreso a review of their Joke of an app. Whoever designed it should be fired. First - we order all the time, they did a update and blew away my favorite order. 2 - my address is in FL for my credit cards - can't use apple pay, it defaults to OHIO, why???? 3. If you try to order and fails (because it never occured to the developers that prople live outside of ohio) then you have to call - the app shuts you down from ordering at all. 4 - we have a Marco's opening soon, so I won't have to deal with this company much longer. 5- the spam to order extras is annoying, the specials are not really special, stuff no one orders. 6- nothing for loyalty or returning customers. read more

Master pizza is the taste of my youth, as they supplied the sheet pizzas to my middle school decades ago. When they opened in chagrin falls a few years ago, I was thrilled. It's just as good as I remember. Their rewards program is very generous and I've earned quite a few free pizzas in the past few years. The Detroit style pizza is the favorite of my fiancé and delicious if you like sweeter sauce. I stick with the old standby- pepperoni, ordered well done. Tried a different pizza place this past Saturday evening. Master pizza (Mentor & Mayfield) used to make a very pie back in the day. So we ordered from the Chagrin Falls location. Ordered the special - 1 large, 1 topping & a large house salad ($20) along with a medium Manhattan ($17) for pickup. The young man who greeted me & cashed me out, was very friendly. Got home and both pizzas looked good, but flavor/taste was lacking in both. Nothing special, hence the average rating. Probably would have been a 2 star rating if not for the friendly young man. I found a few pieces of bacon on my vegan pizza. It was near the edge of the slice, so I assume there was some cross-contamination when the pizza was cut. Incredibly disappointing. I had heard great things about both the gluten-free cauliflower crust and the gluten-free Detroit style crust, but the cauliflower crust was disappointing--it was extremely tough and generally unpleasant to eat. The gf Detroit crust was alright, but there were hardly any toppings on it. And while I understand that gf crusts and vegan cheese are more expensive, the pizzas were ridiculously overpriced. read more

Tried Master's Buffalo chicken, Manhattan white and Popeye (all vegetables) with a large group. Everyone loved these. Comments received were that it was nice to try something new, and not have the same old thing! We had two of each, and they all went quickly. The event was at church. This is my first review and first time ordering pizza delivery. i think the experience went well and the driver/server followed the directions i put in the comments. the only things that make it a four out of five is the pricing and that it took a while. but then again it's not totally their fault because u have to consider prep, bake, and drive. overall tho i say it was good. read more

Hi. Hello. Just wondering what makes the pizza a Detroit Pan Pizza? Is it sauce on top?! My family is from Detroit. So I think it's similar to Louis Pizza?? I am analyzing my food too much. It wasn't bad! Kinda salty. The regular medium pizza we also got was not the best crust. It by no means tasted bad or was cooked poorly, it just didn't WOW me. Kinda fluffy. I can't remember the last time this pizza was on time for delivery. I can't remember when my "pizza points" were accurate (plus they were zeroed recently with no explanation why). It only matters when there is competition. This is one of three that deliver to me, and Master is 150% better in pizza quality, but be prepared to also wait 150% longer for delivery than promised, and while their staff is always greatly polite, helpful and nice, prepare to try and make changes to your loyalty plan and call to see when you may actually get to eat. The pizza is a 7/5, the service is a 5/5, the track record for about the last 8 years is a 1/5: 13 of 15 overall. Eat this incredible pizza before there is competition, because they will disappear when there is. read more

I can't understand all these 5 star reviews... this place is so inconsistent... The first time my family and I ordered three small pizzas... they messed up the toppings on two of the three pizzas and acknowledged it but they were too "busy" too fix the pizzas or the check.. it was really unbelievable.. (i've worked in the service industry my whole life so when I say unbelievable I really mean UNBELIEVABLE) I was always a huge fan of the barbecue chicken pizza... We ordered a large last night (after I raved and talked everyone into it) and I've never had worse pizza... it was awful and out of 7 people it was hardly touched... VERY INCONSISTENT and smothered in BBQ sauce so much that it was soggy.. We also ordered Togo two large house salads and I they gave us enough dressing for a piece of lettuce... literally nobody had dressing for their salads last night!!! totally disappointing I'd find better pizza and service elsewhere read more

This is one of the better pizza options in Chagrin Falls. The service is good and the people are friendly. They are a good addition to Chagrin Falls. Literally the worst place I have ever had the misfortune of ordering food from: It's a bit of a long story, but let me elaborate: I am vegan and the first time I ordered from here I asked if their dough was vegan or if they had vegan cheese. They told me they had vegan dough and cheese. My pizza comes and I eat it, thinking nothing of it. I call back a week or two later to order the same thing, and they inform me that they have never had any vegan options for their pizza. So basically an employee straight up LIED TO ME OVER THE PHONE! I was so unbelievably pissed. The first incident occurred a few months ago. Later tonight I decided to order a build-your-own salad from them because I figured that was be impossible to mess up. Wow was I wrong! Being vegan I obviously ordered a salad with no meat or cheese, and after waiting an hour and a half for my delivery, my pizza was COVERED with pepperoni and cheese.. Never in my life have I dealt with more horrible Customer service. I wish I could give zero stars. Screwing up orders is one thing, but lying to paying customers is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. They will over charge you, and lie to your face. I ordered and paid for an extra large, got a large. The manager tried to tell me they are the same size. Wow. Let me just say that the new GLUTEN FREE DETROIT STYLE PIZZA and CAULIFLOWER PIZZA are THE BEST AROUND. I've been trying to eat healthier while still indulging in pizza and frozen cauliflower pizza has been my "go-to", until now. Master pizza has exceeded my expectations in every way with their cauliflower pizza. It is so flavorful and is crispy without being rock hard. It is amazing. I ordered online and they accidentally gave me a gluten free pizza instead of the cauliflower pizza at first. They let me keep the gluten free pizza anyway. Well let me tell you. BEST GLUTEN FREE CRUST AROUND. When their menu says they have mastered their gluten free crust, they 210% have. You can tell it is gluten free by the slight texture difference if you know how gluten free tastes, however the flavor is unbelievable and the crust is SO FLUFFY. It is essentially a gluten free deep dish and I could not be happier. Even my mom who isn't gluten free loved the gluten free crust more than the regular crust. Master pizza has hit a gold mine with their gluten free crust, and anyone avoiding gluten NEEDS TO TRY BOTH THE CAULIFLOWER(Which is gluten free) AND ORIGINAL GLUTEN FREE DETROIT STYLE PIZZA!
