I wouldn't recommend based on issues with communication to patients in general. I had a positive experience with birthing my baby but I never got appointment reminders, always had to call and track on my own. My most recent experience is that they have now dropped me as a patient because I rescheduled my annual appointment too many times. Granted I work full time and I am a mom of 3 under 7, so reschedules have had to happen due to work and kid sickness. My issue is that I wasn't given a heads up or warning that I rescheduled too many times (they even had me as a no show which was never the case, always called to reschedule). When I recently called to reschedule due to not being able to get time off for the appointment, I was told I couldn't be rescheduled due to the amount of reschedules and this was their policy as of 2026. Again, would have appreciated an update in this policy so I could have better planned. I give 2 star simply because my birthing experience of my 3rd baby was great! However, as a patient when it comes communication and being valued, it has felt cold and lacking. read more

This is a really good OB, the staff there are amazedly sweet and patient. The only thing I would say that's could be better is parking and time. It's really hard to find a parking spot depending on what time your appointment along with it be overly packed as if appointments have been over lap with each other. Other then that I love coming here the staff has never did me wrong I would most definitely recommend to come here read more

There are two locations and this is the bigger location. I'm not a fan of coming to this office but I can say I like the lab here more than the Evans location. The woman who takes my blood, (had the same woman twice) is really down to earth and answered my concerns, especially when it came to the glucose test drink and blood draws. The ultrasound room is really nice though. Spacious enough and they have a TV so you don't have to crane your neck to see the screen. They did have a chair for your parter to sit in, though I believe they recently changed their policy due to the increase of covid cases and partners are not allowed for the time being. The receptionists here aren't for me. When you walk in, it's pretty chaotic. There are 3 different windows and nobody seems to wants to greet you so you stare until you make eye contact with someone. There isn't a specific line for any of the windows and the chairs are spread out through out the entire waiting room so it's harder to maintain a 6ft distance while waiting to check in. read more

worst damn experience ever. Avoid at all cost. We waited over 2 1/2 hours past our appointment time to see, not our scheduled doctor but a very rude nurse and doctor, that had absolutely no regard for a patients time. This place is ridiculous. Gresham is a joke and so are the people that work there. They are not allowing the father to join and will not allow them to ask questions. They want only the pregnant woman inside. Gresham told my wife that her pain is just the pregnancy. But the hospital confirmed endometriosis and a cyst on her ovaries. He refuses to help with any medication aswell as he will steal the credit of giving birth by a nurse and say he performed the procedure. I highly recommend you find somewhere else. read more

I have very rarely left a review about anything in my entire life. I am a patient at Augusta OBGYN. DR. Jordan is a great doctor; however, the staff would rather you die than get the help you need. The mammogram appointment center has sent their referral back to them 5 times, and they still haven't corrected it. When I call the doctors office back about the referral, the nurses are bitter and nasty towards me. The wait time to see anyone is hours and hours long. I waited 45 minutes just for them to call me to fill out a sheet of paper and asked me to have a seat again in the waiting room. I have multiple things wrong with me at the moment and this office will blow you off over and over again. My pregnant daughter has been for her pregnancy verification already, but they will not give her the pregnancy verification because they don't have it recorded that they ever did the pap and sonogram, so she has to go back again! I'm changing to some other place, and will wait through the processes again while my conditions worsen. What I've said in this review only touches the surface. read more

I was referred out to this practice a few months ago for my second pregnancy. Not being from Georgia, I was kind of skeptical about the reviews I had seen, but I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of care I've received so far. The decor inside the building and rooms is very simple but also very calming. I've only had three appointments so far, but I absolutely love the care that Dr. Jordan has provided. He's been able to ease my fears and anxieties, keeps me well informed and updated, and actually listens to my concerns and takes action to get everything figured out. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. My only complaint would be that there is long wait times, but it could just be from taking precautions due to Covid and following social distancing protocols! I'm excited to continue getting great care from this OB/GYN team. read more

Haven't even been seen yet because I'm a new pregnant patient but I'll tell you already I do not like Nurse Amber. I have an upcoming appt but called today about some concerns I had that I thought needed to be looked at. She says first to come in within the next hour or they can't see me so I said okay I have to call my husband to come to watch my son because I know I can't take him with me and she says okay and to call her back so My husband comes home and she ends ups telling me they can't see me because I have to be seen by a specific physician AFTER I called my husband home from work like she asked me to do and told me to just go to the ER. Front desk receptionist was apologetic and very sweet but I am extremely frustrated by this nurse in particular. All throughout my pregnancy they have been kind, courteous, professional and prompt. The nurses are very good at making patients feel comfortable and welcome, and try their hardest to make you feel at home in such a clinical setting. The OBGYN that I had was extraordinarily professional, but unfortunately it was only after the loss of my child that I was able to see a side of her that was less doctoral in nature. The loss of a patients' child moved her so much that she finally broke away from the doctor/patient standard, and I was able to see her as a human with emotions. Emotions that she expressed in the best way that she knew how. Unfortunately some of the things that she expressed (to a newly grieving mother) were less than charitable in nature, and still haunt me today. I don't know what their thoughts are on all of the more natural aspects of the birthing profession. I don't know if they know about Ina May Gaskin or "The Business of Being Born". Admittedly I was too intimidated by all of the professionalism. I know that it sounds strange, but I was really hoping for a more personalized experience. One in which I felt comfortable broaching these subjects. Unfortunately for me, that never happened. I'm too much of a coward I guess. The ONLY thing that I wish had been done differently was the scheduling of an elective induction once I reached 41 weeks. Admittedly, that scared me off. They assumed that I wanted to be induced, and scheduled it without asking my permission first. So of course I didn't go. I wish that I was offered the OPTION to either schedule an induction or continue with my pregnancy under heavy monitoring. I'm the type of person who takes things very literally, and if it isn't offered to me in either writing or verbally, then I simply assume that it isn't offered period. I wouldn't have minded going back there every day if it meant that at least they were trying to find a reason to induce, rather than simply scheduling an induction because of me being overdue. I was also willing to schedule another induction if either A: they found a solid medical reason for me to, or B: I had reached 43 weeks without going into labor on my own. Unfortunately neither of these things happened, and things took a rather different turn before I was able to call their office again on Monday. There's an old saying, "Nobody stays pregnant forever." So at least I was able to go into labor naturally. But long gone are the days where the doctor would come to your house in the middle of the night to tend to you. So instead, once the weekend rolls around you're left without someone to call, and the only place you can turn to is the hospital. As far as the standard of care, they went above and beyond, even going so far as to find ways to order certain tests and ultrasounds that Medicaid wouldn't have covered otherwise. I learned a lot about pregnancy, birth, and my body while going through this experience with them. All in all, not the best place to go if you have any inkling towards wanting a natural birth. Be sure to interview your ob before deciding. Remember: They work for you. You are their boss. Not the other way around. If they make you feel inferior, find a new ob. read more

She is not always warm and fuzzy but I trust her to help me make the best decision about my women's health. The only issue is the front desk staff. They aren't always the friendliest or most knowledgeable so that can be frustrating which is the reason for 4 stars. read more

My first visits went well. The last few absolutely did not. Lack of communication between staff made for awkward and painful moments. My experience with the OB was horrible. I was honestly very nervous that I was assigned to this OB by my insurance due to the reviews on here. There does seem to be a wait before every appointment, but I was more concerned about the quality of care. I was pleasantly surprised after my first appointment and meeting Dr. Gresham. I have never had a doctor take the time to get to know me. You can tell that he puts in effort to build relationships with his patients and it makes all the difference. He unfortunately was not able to deliver my baby when it came time due to a personal injury, but made rounds while I happened to be in recovery. Best OB/Doctor I have ever had hands down. I was a transfer with a doctor that was at another location.I like the doctor so I didn't mind going to a new location.... But this place is ridiculous!! At the hour and a half wait time I asked how much longer and they basically said they would try to find out... Over 2 hours went by and they said another half hour wait. "The Dr.'s behind"... "why they couldn't tell me this when I walked in?", I asked... and they said he wasn't behind at the time... WHAT???? I don't believe that. I have been here once before for an annual exam as a new patient. I waited for over an hour to be called back. When I called to schedule my next exam, I was given an appointment date and time. When I showed up, I was told that I was scheduled for another date, time, and location. Afterward, the nurse (and I realize that it is not her fault) tried to get me rescheduled, but could not do so for another 3 weeks. I think it's best to go somewhere else. read more

Worst practice ever!! If you want to go there expect to be there at least 2-3 hours. And even then after waiting for 2-3 hours you will be told "ohh the doctor is not here. Can we reschedule your appointment" they will take you money for the appointment before the tell you the doctor is not even there to see you!! I'm currently seeking a new OB. Currently I am a patient at Augusta OBGYN. The main problem with this location is that it doesn't matter if you have an appointment, if you're only getting labs done, whatever reason you are visiting, you can bet on a wait time of 1+ hours. I have waited nearly 3 hours for blood work once and am currently sitting in the office and it is 5:23 (the office closes at 5) and I have been here for nearly 2 hours! No one ever answers when you call so you always leave a message which they say they will call back the following day but I have waited over a week for a call back about labs and many other times waited several days to hear anything. I had a miscarriage in the fall and expected that when we got out recent positive we would be monitored more closely, NOPE! Blood work only once and ultrasound scheduled for 10 weeks. While Dr. Knodel, the D.N.P., the sonographer, and the nurse Macy are caring providers, the business itself is run poorly. Wait times are 1-2 hours after your appointment time. They do not explain that they are going to take the amount of what your insurance deductible is, but not put it toward your deductible. That means that you will end up paying double of what your deductible is because they do not apply the money that you think you are paying toward your deductible (instead they just hold that money hostage until you deliver because, as the rude biller told me, "nobody pays their bills, so we have to do it this way"). Also, forget about personalized care because Doctors hospital is just a place where the provider can deliver but they don't have any control over what happens at the facility. I inquired about a clear drape for caesarian section, it was not even considered. With just an email to University hospital, I was told they could easily accommodate. I regret not having done this research prior to "getting stuck" with this practice, as you cannot switch providers after you get so far along in your pregnancy. read more

If you are going to Augusta OBGYN arm yourself with patience and don't bring the kids if you can. I waited for 1.5 hours today and asked how many before me and they still had 7 ladies in front of me. They are blaming it on their new computer system but I its been like that before as well, few weeks ago before this change I also had to wait for 2.5 hours to just be seen by the doctor. Can't wait to be done with appointments at this office. I really like the Doctor but its so hard to get an appointment, they either spread it out farther in between that what the doctor suggest or you don't get an appointment at all.
