I have been a patient of Evans Medical for 25+ years. On my latest visit I was tended to by Keenan Templeton, PA. My appointment was a follow-up to a recent hospital stay. He was up to speed on my history and I found that he was attentive and knowledgeable regarding my meds. My schedule is not very flexible and he worked with me to find an acceptable time for my next appointment. I highly recommend him if you find yourself in need of medical care. read more

I noticed a low rating of 3.6, no way ... in most cases with an appointment I am seen within 15 minutes and if not they have always squeezed me in. Dr Ikeler is fantastic and so is 90% of the staff. Unfortunately 15 years prior to my 5 years going here My prior doctors were good with medicine but poor with patients customer service. Here both are better. read more

It's sad that healthcare has gotten this bad. You either accept mediocre/crap or you accept nothing. Office staff is ok, until you have an insurance issue that is outside of the ordinary. Then you get crappy service over and over from uneducated workers even if you understand insurance. read more

Jordan was extremely rude when I had a personal medical concern and contacted him during a weekend when he was on call for his team. I was in fact at work on call myself and contacted him thru the on call contact service for patients. He treated me without concern or compassion and scolded me for interrupting his weekend (even though he was assigned to cover). Totally unprofessional. As a fellow physician I was shocked and disappointed and will NEVER send any of my family there and never recommend them. I can only imagine how he has treated patients that are not in healthcare. Text reminders about appointments are helpful. Online check-in is easy. Front office staff are always friendly and helpful. I normally see Dr Apostle, but PA's are also great. We love Evans Medical group, and would highly recommend! read more

Through the years I have found that it Augusta does not provide good quality doctors. Evans Medical, Dr. Ikeler is definitely not one of those doctors. One of the best, bedside manner and knowledge that I have ever delt with. Staff good too. The only issue, and it is minor was that they were out of the high dose flu shot - which will not at all affect the 5 stars. read more

The nurse practitioners there are dismissive and incredibly unhelpful. Every time I see one I have a horrible experience, and typically don't get the care I need. It's not worth the money and is always out of semi emergency necessity. My experience with my doctor has been great when he's available . read more

This is a great place. A coworker told me about this when I had problems with the receptiveness of my VA doctor, so I decided to give them a try. I've been to both locations they have since I first tried. The nurse practitioner Clint in the Augusta office was more caring than the VA doctors, but I really felt like I got better answers from the Evans office when I visited there on a different appointment. Both locations are easy to deal with, easy to make an appointment with, easy to access notes from the appointment after it's completed, and both had friendly people who seemed to care. read more

Dr. Jordan wasn't terrible. His nurses and PAs though... they're rude, dismissive, and have no respect for patient concerns. The wait times to be seen are also awful. I've taken my children in twice and both times the doctor didn't walk in until at least 45 minutes to an hour past the appointment time with no updates or apologies from staff, despite us arriving 15 minutes prior, as the office requests. read more

Dysfunctional, unorganized, uncaring team: I read the hundreds of reviews and decided to set appointment for myself, my wife, and rest of my family one at a time with this group. In my first call, I asked for appt. with Dr. Apostol. Staff told me appt. is available. So, I called my wife for her time range. When I called back an hour later, only Dr. Jordan was able to see us. OK. I set up appt for both of us. The day before my 8:15 AM appt., I spoke with Doc's nurse at 3:30PM about the seriousness of my issue and need for immediate care. Upon my entry at 8:20AM (had address 1202 Town P.L.), I was told, "We tried to call you yesterday afternoon about 2:30 that the DOC had emergency and could not be here." I immediately searched my phone for a missed call, did not see one. I was told because I declined to receive private calls.??!! REALLY. Yet, I had told them, "My best method of contact is email". I did not receive such email. OK. I am stupid. I asked for the next earliest appt. Staff told me Oct. 5. I told her that I discussed my urgency when I set appt. and when I talked with his nurse. NO compassion, no response. I again asked, can I be seen by anyone TODAY, tomorrow. She said, "We have no appt. time ..." I was very upset, without saying a word, I left. Then, I called to speak with Officer Manager (OM)/ (Danny). Between 8:30 and 9:15 AM, I called Danny (who was in the office), left 2 messages and one hang up. I called again around 11:25AM, was left on hold to hear that "ALL MANAGERS are at lunch, call back later." I asked staff to take a message - she would not. ALL she said, "Danny would call you back." Here is my observation: Doctor's knowledge, expertise, and help is a portion of the service. I understand & respect human have emergencies. But an alternative solution in a PROFESSIONAL environment is expected. Did not get ANY here. The rest of communication (if not most) is with the STAFF. I noticed that this is a DISFUNCTIONAL family who does not care about patient's issues. So, why are they in business? Nurse does not tell me that the DOC has emergency. Staff does not call or communicate with me yet claim that they did. OM who supposed to be the most PROFESSIONAL within a TEAM, does not respond to many calls and voice mails. Wow. At my age, my experiences with doctors, this office is the one that I will avoid, not for its doctors, but for its DISORIENTED and NONE CARING TEAM. read more

We have been very well treated by PAs and office personnel... and the doctor. Dr. Ikeler is our primary. We certainly recommend them.

The staff here are amazing! Very down to earth. They don't push you to exercise beyond comfort level. Very state of the art equipment. I've been twice and I haven't seen all of it. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! read more
