I ultimately decided to purchase a new computer along with an external hard drive for backup. What really stood out to me was how much time Leo took to actually explain things. He walked me through things like RAM, storage, what I realistically needed in a computer, and showed me several different laptop options instead of just trying to sell me something. He helped me find one that was a good fit for what I needed. When I came back a few days later to pick everything up, my new computer was literally ready to go. Leo had everything set up and took the time to show me how the computer and external hard drive worked and how to use them for backups. I walked away not only with a new computer and a much better backup plan, but also knowing a lot more about computers than I did when I walked in! Leo was incredibly friendly, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. After this experience, I genuinely trust his recommendations and will absolutely return if I need computer help in the future. I jumped in the car and headed to EPC. I called back to confirm it was in fact the Turbo and it was. When I got there Carl had it ready and said he was able to sell it to me for $115. It was clearly used but when I took it back to my store and plugged it in (had to use a parallel cable instead of USB) it worked like a champ. EPC's price was less than 1/2 of anything I saw on the internet and I was able to get it immediately. It had been a while since I had been here but will certainly return next time I need something.

This particular machine was a 4.5 foot tall monster with 7 hard drives (4 in RAID 5 (on a RocketRAID card)), dual cpu's, ECC RAMBUS, and more server parts than you could shake a stick at. Of course, being an old server, this is to be expected. They charged me $49 for a desktop diagnostic, running me through everything they would do. (At the time of this writing, competitors charged $59 or more for the same service.) Based on the amount of computers they had on their repair shelves, plus how busy they seemed, I was not expecting to hear from ITS for a week, at least. They told me it would be 2-3 days, but I got a call late THE NEXT DAY. They had discovered that my computer had a bad motherboard (which I knew), a stick of bad RAM (which I didn't know), and on my RAID drives was bad (which I suspected, but could not confirm). ITS had tried to update my BIOS, and looked for matching RAM, and a new motherboard, but in the end it was cheaper for me to buy a new computer. They were completely honest and upfront about the costs of everything. I got a nice used Compaq with 2 GB RAM, an Athlon 64+ processor, and Win Vista, which I then proceeded to install Win 8 on. For $250, it was a heck of a deal. My only negatives were that their parking lot was full of leaves, and some of their shelves were a little threadbare, but from what I gather, ITS Computers is a computer, and computer parts, selling machine. Their prices are comparable to, or lower than, other brick and mortar stores, but like every store that has overhead, they cannot compete with Amazon. Still, I was happy with the computers, and prices, I saw they had. I am insanely happy with my service, the prices were reasonable, the turnaround time was beyond phenomenal, and the professionalism of the staff was top-notch. I recommend ITS Computers to everyone. In fact, I was so impressed with what I saw, I applied for, and got, a job there.
