Extremely clean and extra nice employees I recommend this restaurant to all family and friends

We went for ice cream. They do not have waffle cones even though they have photos of them inside the restaurant, which is a little deceptive. A worker said they stopped offering them because they went stale before they could sell them. Either figure out how to store them better or take down the deceptive photos. You can't be a serious ice cream shop without waffle cones. The ice cream was decent, about a dozen or so flavors. read more

Food was amazing and the service was pretty quick considering how busy they were. We got the bbq, a burger and a kids meal and we were all incredibly happy with the taste and quality! The fries and the ranch stole the show!! read more

The counter worker's apron was the filthy. Ordered a bacon plate with eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits with gravy and bacon. I got 3 tator tots, a flat biscuit with istant gravy mix. Tastes like wallpaper glue. My husband ordered french toast with sauage. Do you want 1 or 2 sauages? $3.50 for the one extra sauage. The french toast was thin sliced sandwich bread. Ate there for the 1st time. Got a barbeque sandwich with a side of cole slaw and hush puppies. The barbeque was ok, and the slaw was average. The only really good thing was the hush puppies. If you want average food, this is your place. The problem is, you can get ok anywhere. read more

Save your time and money for and find a good restaurant. The service was horrible, Staff doesn't know the menu, and food is cooked like a kindergartener made it. BLT was horrible and that is pretty hard to screw up. Chicken strips overcooked also. read more

This place deserves no stars. Horrible. Used to eat here as a teenager in late 70's it was awesome. Stopped in early october 2024 place was dirty. Their hotbar is gone. They basically had no drinks. So sad, was really looking forward to eating there. Food was inedible. Spit it into napkin and left. read more

It was our first time trying an Aunt Bea's BBQ restaurant. My kids ordered hot dogs and fries, my husband and I ordered BBQ sandwiches and fries. Taste wise, we weren't impressed. Value wise, the price was decent. We went in thinking it would be really good because there were a fair amount of people dining and eating there. I noticed after sitting though, that most were eating breakfast (which looked really good, I might add) although it was after 11 am. If you are looking for breakfast, you may want to give it a try- otherwise, I'd pass. read more

Horrible food. I ordered the grilled chicken and my friend got the baked ham. The chicken was dry and tough. I tried adding the barbeque sauce that was on the table, but it tasted like vinegar (like old wine that's gone bad). My friend's ham tasted spoiled. The chili on the chili cheese fries looked and tasted old. The mac & cheese was runny, bland, and tasted old. We couldn't eat any of it and took it back to the counter. The manager was apologetic and gave us a refund, explaining that everything is pre-cooked early in the day and they just warm it up at dinner time. She offered us free peach cobblers to make up for it. We took one bite each and threw them away. It tasted like styrofoam and chemicals. Ugh. Worst dining experience ever. I can't believe they serve that stuff. I'm just glad we didn't get food poisoning. read more

Aunt Bea's should be illegal. The home cooked food is the worst canned vegetables and meat you could get anywhere. My chicken n dumplings dinner had a shred of chicken and a whole lot of canned biscuits. Ugh! Green beans canned and jiffy corn bread. Super slow service, bad food, prices high and portions small. You could see that they had plenty of workers inside, no one inside the restaurant and only three people in the drive thru, still took 30 minutes to get food that was supposed to be on the hot-bar. Employees were inside joking, walking around and talking instead of working. This was the fourth time visiting in the last month or two and the same way every single time, whatever time of the day it was! Bad management!!! read more

The worst aunt Bea's I've ever eat at. Hamburger tasted like what dog food smells like. The vegetables had a old taste to them like they had been sitting around for a couple days. I'll definitely not be back here I'll stick with the Mt airy location. read more

I think this place suffers from split personality syndrone. On the weekends for breakfast, they are always busy. Lunch time, not too bad. The breakfast seems to be quite good but difficult to get into because of the regulars. Nothing wrong with regulars but hanging out and chatting for an hour while others need a seat is bad business. Wont try to do breakfast there again for that reason. Tried them for lunch twice and blah!!! It wasnt good. Frozen food, institution food, reheated, two days old...you get the idea. Service lacking (i guess because not regulars or looked at like outsiders)??? Wont go back. read more

How can you not love Aunt Beas? Their rating is artificially low because I bet none of the breakfast regulars would ever think of rating them online. This place is hopping at breakfast. Aunt Beas has basic blue plate specials, breakfast all day, burgers, and ice cream. Don't come here expecting a five star experience on everything, but they make good solid meals and once you know your favorites, you can count on them. The beef stew is good. My husband likes the meat loaf (it comes topped with BBQ sauce). My parents like the BBQ sandwiches...vinger style, so be prepared. The fries are always excellent. Crinkle cut with seasoning. Excellent place for a vegetable plate. The kids meals are cheap and my two love them. We get the hamburgers, hotdogs, and grilled cheese. Good sweet tea. They make a hot fudge cake just like the classic Shoney's style cake. The country ham biscuit is a great choice for breakfast. Aunt Beas is a staple in our community. It's a clean, basic place with old school food. Eat here in confidence. It might not make it on your meals to write home about list, but they have good food with good variety at good prices. read more
