    a receipt for a pizza

I'd give them zero stars if I could I did not get a receipt for my order. after paying closer attention I asked why was I charged three dollars in taxes I was told that's just the way it is. after obtaining a receipt apparently I was paying for the person in front of me's order which was supposed to be free because they had a reward on the app. the manager kindly pointed to the sign that said no refunds or exchanges. After much discussion I finally got him to give me a refund which he only gave me the refund for the person in front of me's order and still overcharged me for my combo. my combo was advertised on the sign at $7.58 I did the math and he still owes me $.90. Very rude and overpriced place!!

Can't go wrong with a treat from here. Service isn't always the best, but the food has been consistently good.

Every time any one passed by, they could ask if we needed anything, or we could flag them down and not worry about disturbing someone who didn't have our table. I had the French toast stuffed with cream cheese and fruit. Extra crispy bacon topped it all off. Their bacon was *chef's kiss* ; it seemed like very good quality. Will definitely return!

We ordered coffee, an omelet, and a scrambled egg sandwich. One of the things that attracted us was the restaurant's claim of being a scratch kitchen that uses premium ingredients. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to those expectations. The coffee was disappointing--watery and weak. We were told they grind their own dark roast beans, which led me to expect an excellent cup of coffee. However, if too little coffee is used when brewing the pot, even great beans produce weak coffee. That was definitely the case here. At $4.00 per cup, I expect a quality cup of coffee, and this one simply wasn't worth the price or frankly, any price. The omelet was ordered with bacon and caramelized onions. We specifically asked our server to make sure the onions were well caramelized, but they were not. Even more noticeable was the amount of bacon. It completely overwhelmed the dish--it felt more like bacon with a little egg than an omelet. Finally, the scrambled eggs on the sandwich weren't really scrambled at all. They were cooked as one solid sheet, more like a thin omelet. For a restaurant that specializes in breakfast, brunch, and lunch, consistently preparing eggs should be one of its strengths. I truly hope whoever oversees the kitchen takes these comments in the constructive spirit they're intended. The restaurant has a great concept and quality ingredients, but paying closer attention to execution and consistency would make a significant difference. I'd be happy to give Famous Toastery another try if these issues are addressed.
